@@ItsssRiaMost of the evidence that she doesn’t like us listening to her unreleased songs has come from that video where she says “Who here knows a song called tunnel vision? Ok, one thing I will say, Why are you listening to my unreleased songs?” At the time she made this statement, tunnel vision was soon to be released for her 3rd studio album PORTALS so it counted as an unreleased song but NOT a scrapped song. In that context, no, it isn’t ok to listen to unreleased songs as in songs that are still in production and will be released in the future as it spoils the whole surprise of not knowing what the next album will be and the wait for it all to piece together at the right moment. However, on the other hand, it is ok to listen to scrapped songs as in songs that were scrapped from previous albums and will never be released. Melanie has written all of these lovely songs for us and it would just seem like such a waste of time and energy to know that they were never released and given all of the credit that she deserves. Hands down, we love Melanie and want to see more of her work and amazing talent in music.

@@kei_thepotata I definitely understand why she would NOT like it at all. But it isn't really my fault that this video with the lyrics exists and came up randomly on my home page. Plus, this song is from 2014-2016, which makes it pretty old. She may already be aware of us listening to it, but probably won't care as much because she's in a different era and is currently focusing on tours. Either way, thank you for reminding me, but again, it's really not my fault that this video was found. Even if it's unreleased, nothing will stop me from enjoying it play in my mind at least.

I believe the post you're talking about was made by a team of social media people and not by Melanie herself. I think it was just the studio that didn't like her songs being leaked.
