Went to their Portland show and besides the stench it was one of the best shows I've been to. At one point Laura had to get off the stage cause she had to pee and the crowd started chanting "Go piss girl!" in unison for a bit and Dylan fucked around on the acoustic guitar playing Party in the USA. There were sound issues from the looks of it and the instrumentals in "mememe" were cut short the first time they played it, so they restarted and sang it again, but they played it off so well and the crowd was just happy to see them perform. All jokes aside, I think it's really cool 100 Gecs have cultivated such a fun community. I know a couple years ago people would crack jokes about the kind of weirdos that go to a Gecs show. I saw them a few nights prior in Philly, smaller venue than this one but just as electric. Machine Girl came into the crowd and collapsed at my feet before charging up the stairs to scream his lungs out. Shout out the the circle pit of people frog jumping to frog on the floor, the person who held up the entire Asuka imitation Eva fight scene on her phone, and all the people who recorded the concert with their 3DS’s. Also! Saw a guy ask a girl for her name email and it worked lmao. 100 Gecs is just wholly unique and brings people together under a shared vulnerability that’s so amazing to see
the gecs show was such a blast, related to all the things touched on in this vid. A huge takeaway from the show was the mind boggling amount of cool looking people! i think i really needed to see so many people my age expressing themselves, and looking sick while doing it. so many eye grabbing outfits and auras. great show, and this vid made me remember how much energy can still give me just by thinking about it

Was sore and sweaty from all the jumping.

Saw Gecs a few weeks ago for the second time and the energy at their shows is unbelievable! The fans, them and machine girl created such a fun energy together, best show I’ve experienced so far. Machine Girl has come a long way from doing hundreds of house shows in 2015

Glad to know your bald energy was in the air with us that night
So glad you did this review. I went in Seattle and it was such a positive experience .
I saw them last year in Prague, they had a completely different setlist as not even Snake Eyes was out by that point. Yet what Anthony's describing perfectly fits that show too. I remember seeing a guy who came in full knight armour
So glad you also saw and enjoyed their show! Bit unfortunate that you didn't get to see their awesome new visuals from your seat though, most of what they showed was as banger as the music.
lovedddd seeing them live!!!! i saw them in boston earlier this week and the vibes were so good!
I saw the MN show and it was seriously an amazing time. One of my favorite concerts, if they tour again near me I am going. My favorite part was when Laura and Dylan had a actual wizard battle to the death and both exploded at the same time, and then played 20 more songs.
I saw them live in Vancouver a few weeks ago and it made me realize how well they work live. I really was not a fan of some of their newer tracks from 10000 (frog on the floor, i got my tooth removed, etc) but they absolutely slapped live. The energy of the crowd, the lights, and having the gecs themselves there really showed how much better the songs felt with the right energy and vibe. i rate 100 gecs live a yippieee/10
Saw the Gecs in Minneapolis and it was one of the best shows I've been to! Machine Girl was sick as well!! Glad you had fun!
Saw them live when they came through Salt Lake, did VIP for the first time. Was kind of worried I wouldn't get the whole pit expierence and then Machine Girl climbed into our section, made the whole ticket worth it, what an incredible show.
Saw 100 gecs about 3 weeks ago and they were great! Had a great time in the pit and it was a perfect volume (not so loud to shatter your ears but loud enough to be hype). Also perfect set list. Def a top 5 show all time for me.
I saw 100 Gecs opening for Brockhampton, with SlowThai, in 2019 and the energy was INCREDIBLE!!!
I just saw their saturday show. Just now at the same venue. Super amazing show, amazing vibes
Hell yeah dude! just got back from the same concert!!! Machine Girl was insane to see in person especially with him walking through the crowd!!!! Everyone was digging the vibes, even got a few Streetpasses on my 3DS. shame i didn't see you in the VIP section lol
I saw 100gecs live at Laneway Festival in Melbourne, I mainly went to watch Knucks, Slowthai and Phoebe Bridgers but the 100gecs performance was absolutely mind blowing and made me fall in love with their music so much more. I went with a friend who predominantly listens to 90s rap and even he loved the performance
