The strange looking goldfish you found is a bubble eye goldfish. They are supposed to look like that, but they struggle to see and find food, and the bags under their eyes can easily rupture. I think it is really sad that they are being bred like that :(

Completely agree with you, bubble eyes and pearlscales are both varieties that suffer far too much but are 'exotic' so people want them more 😔

Bobby and Helen, PLEASE go back ASAP for part 4 of the first abandoned pond of this video...those are such sad conditions for those poor fish to be living in Those were some nice sized goldfish...I had one at least 3x bigger that just died over the weekend, his name was Jaws and we miss him 😢 the cats miss watching him, it was their kitty cat TV.😭💔🐈

That abandoned fountain never disappoints BFP Nation. Months have passed and it still has awesome fishes. And the abandoned pond is terrific. still, lots of gorgeous fish. The abandoned pond being filled in deserves an full rescue mission. Bring in your fellow Florida fish youtubers. Have everyone bring castnets and fishtraps. Do the works on that thing. You may have one more week on that pond and it deserves it. The amount of amazing fish pulled out of the abandoned ponds, it deserves a proper video to send it off. Again try to get your youtube fish friends involved, i know one of em just had their house burn down and i think a collab would help him out. Edit; Congrats on the million subs! You deserve it!

This would be really awesome

The goldfish is known as a 'bubble Eye'. It's considered an exotic goldfish, more commonly kept in tanks rather than ponds. They are more prone to infections as you can imagine due to those bubbles. Personally I see them on a par with pearlscale goldfish, they have too many health issues and shouldn't be in as much demand as they are cause its kind of cruel how they suffer! I'm only a 3rd of the way in to the video, but as always I love the enthusiasm you show for each fish you find, they have the best possible chance at surviving with you, thank you for all that you do to save these scale babies! ❤

Your "gooey-eyed" goldfish are Bubble Eyed Goldfish. At Tustin Pet Village, they were nearly triple the cost of the other fancy goldfish we carried. Those eyes are delicate, so don't have sharp things in their habitat. Keep up the great work!!

My Mon had a beautiful tank when I was young. She had that same black ghost knife. I loved watching it.❤

The more fish you take out - leaves more room for the leftover fish to grow up and populate the pond as well !

FOR THE GOLDFISH WITH FUNNY EYES!!! Those are a species of goldfish called Bubble Eye Goldfish. They are bred specifically for their funny look and are not found in the wild. Do not be afraid to put that one with any other fish because he/she does not have a disease and is supposed to look like that!! Because of bubbles on their eyes though, it can develop health problems for the fish and can make the fish very unhappy for the rest of its life. Although it is legal to breed them, personally, I think that breeding these types of fish is wrong and we should breed animals for our satisfaction but rather their health and happiness while there alive. Fish have lives too

The gulper catfish should be named Kirby. Because he gulps almost anything.

9:52 it's a type of fancy goldfish. They need to be kept in a tank with no decorations and no substrate. The sacs at their cheeks are quite delicate and pop easily.

Love the gulper at the end being a slow eater.

When he says “This is a native species” and it’s usually a bluegill or a warmouth, and I live in a place where that’s literally all we catch. The main fish we catch where I live is bluegill, warmouth, trout, bass, and some pike. Those are the common ones. 🐟🎣

Bobby, you caught a bubble-eyed goldfish. It is a fancy breed. It is amazing all the other fish you rescued. Yes, please for a part 4. Puffer fish will attack anything alive. They bite chunks out of fins. They are best kept on their own. The 'alien things' are dragonfly nymphs. They are predators and will eat fish, tadpoles, worms and anything small and alive they can grab. PS Congrats on the 1m subscribers! You deserve this.

Each location could have been a video in itself. I think you definitely need to go to the abandoned pond more often in the near future as there was quite a hall and you don't know when they bulldoze it full and destroy what is left. You and Rob ought to have a one verses the other there to see who has the best ideas of saving the most fish and the one who gets the most variety of different fish. I also think you should go back to the other two sites again as well because there are too many fish there also needing to be saved.
