This incident was based on a real event in the Bush junior White House. Dick Chaney was bullying the press to keep all the negative reporting about junior out of the paper, then he tried the same trick on a blogger with no assets, nothing but the truth on his side and published every thing. Chaney had to pull his head in for a while after that, too bad it didn't last.

It's kind of a shame they spent the time rebuilding the Charlie/Zoey relationship to the point where it seemed like he was going to propose and then never mentioned it again.

Dule Hill and Elizabeth Moss were busy and couldn't get schedules to align, so their wedding was rewritten to be Ellie's wedding.

"Typical Hollywood; drives his Prius right up to his private jet." Good line describing contrived virtue.

Even if she was a journalist, you can't just unilaterally declare something to be "off the record". The journalist needs to agree to that condition. If you just start talking, the journalist can do whatever. Josh would, of course, know this, but it's funnier to pretend he doesn't.

But I also agree with the others, Josh should have learned his lesson about dealing with people online. He's one of those great minds who's best kept behind the curtain with a Donna to be his membrane between him and the public.
