I restored & modernized my old Cannondale Jekyll and made it a mullet

In this episode I take my old 2012 Cannondale Jekyll 2, completely strip it, powder coat it, modernize some of the components, and put in a mullet frontend for a more modern geometry.

I didn’t go to your extent with new paint and everything but the bikes still looked ready to rip again 10 years later! Awesome to see someone doing the same.

Ah dude! Thing I like most about this vid is how you remove your bearings with the press and a socket. I have a "tool" for doing that - couple of inches of threaded rod, two appropriately sized sockets facing each other (one the size of the bearing, the other larger to "receive" it being pushed out), washers outside those, and a bolt on each end. I then just apply pressure on each bolt and it pushes the bearing through. If you're careful enough you can invert the set up and push new bearings back in nice and square with the same thing.

Absolute magic. As someone who has a modernized and modded 2010 Kona with adjustable geo and travel this is gold. I always loved the old Jekyll but hated the colour.
