I would have never thought to go matte black for a children’s furniture piece, that’s why I love watching other people to help me think outside the box, this is modern and looks high end, great job as always Glenda and congratulations to you and your husband on your new family member

I spent last summer refinishing my parents’ old dresser for my daughter to use as a changing table/dresser for my grandson. She chose the same colors, black with wood drawers. I also gave it a poly topcoat, with a couple extra coats on the top. It’s a slightly different 1950s style dresser but the look at the end was very similar. Best wishes for you and your new baby!
