The pivoting socket "wrench" was awesome!!

The method for making the stool legs level might stop it from wobbling but it might not be upright. Better to have used a level to find the unequal leg, or even measure each leg to find it.

So what was the purpose of tearing apart the tape measure? What was its use after the "modification?" This one just didn't make any sense at all ...

Destroy a $20 tape measure to create a spring loaded retractor you can buy at the hardware store for $10

As I said before, it would be not only easier to buy the right tools for the job, but safer and would help prevent from destroying good tools to make up some of the stuff in these videos. These videos should only be used for entertainment value only.

Yeah, let's spend 20 minutes building a plastic strap wrench... when a large rubber band would probably do the same job. I dunno, maybe growing up around dad and grandpa's tools spoiled me. Grandpa was a bulldozer mechanic or something, and had ALL the tools. Dad has his own set of stuff. I just can't imagine growing up without a drill press, a band saw, or a table grinder. Then there's pipe threaders and reaming bits. Belt sanders and angle grinders... how does anyone grow up without these things? About the only thing I never learned was a welder. Too hamfisted. Even as a kid, I was always about exacting precision. Stupid welding mask.
