Hey guys I don't know why the video had a little lag! But I know how people will get in the comments and try to create some weird narratives. Essentially, this video is saying I spanked one of my kids whose behavior was getting out of control. I didn't spank them out of anger or anything, but I got them on the behind with a belt a couple of times, and they had some whelps on their butt and thigh. So DCFS got involved, and I went and gave a statement to the detective. After a few weeks( and I am leaving out a lot of details that are in this video) they told me to turn myself in so they could hold me in jail overnight and take me to court in the morning. (which is weird because they had people who did some way worse things than spank their child, who were able to show up to court on their own without having to stay in jail overnight) Anyways this video details the horrible experience I had how they moved me to several different jail cells all night long and how I had all this spiritual warfare. They were messing with me all night ( just watch the video because it was crazy). Lastly, the case will be thrown out, or I will have to take some kind of parenting class or something like that. This happened a couple of months ago, and I just wanted to share so someone could be encouraged. You guys know I am a very transparent person, so I am always open to sharing these things as a testimony. God got me through it even though it was a horrible situation.

I was a really bad child growing up, spankings only made me worse they never helped if anything it promoted the spirit of fear which can create a child to be sneaky or more distant from the one who they are supposed to trust and count on to protect them. I understand tho Marcus I'm just telling from experience. Love will work, hit your child with the unexpected when they do really bad which is love. Love is patient and kind. Love will cover their sins "love covers a multitude of sins" even though it doesn't make sense to us, remember even at our worst jesus never spanks or spanked us he just always loved us. What Marcus Rogers fail to do which makes no sense on his part his get him an attorney when it came to giving voluntary information to police. Anything he say can be used against him in court of law and he made their jobs easy. His legal representation, he would not been in no jail - he would just went straight to court cause he was not charged with anything - he volunteered to give up his freedom.

You ABSOLUTELY did the right thing! I worked at an elementary school (this year was my last year), a student would not be obedient to her teacher! The teacher sent her to the office, the AP called her mom. Her mom came to the school with a belt! The counselor told her she could use her office to deal with her little girl. I was sitting behind the desk in the front office. I was so excited to see there are parents who still do not spare the rod! That was the last time I saw that student go to the principal's office! FACTS!! My mother disciplined me and my brother with the belt and we thank GOD she did. Our lives turned out well because it. She didn't abuse us, she disciplined us when we needed to be disciplined. I think back on those times we deserved it.... lol🤣. Going places we were not suppose to and missing for hours, almost setting our house on fire. Poor lady, I'm surprised we didn't drive her crazy!!🤣😅

Please pray for my son-in-law. I’m worried he’s broken now he’s been in prison for felony, even though he’s never even had a ticket his entire life. He’s a really great man and a really great father and he was protecting his young sons from a predator. He had a gun on him. Nobody was shot, but because of the gun they felt it was intent and gave him 13 months, he lost his job and I’m really worried about him. Thank you for your prayers.

Yes, correction is love bc it is easier to let a child (young or older) do what they want to….the parent that loves, is involved & takes the time to love & also correct the children. At times, spanking is necessary, but not in anger, but calmly and in Godly way. Sadly, the parent who is never involved, who does not teach, correct, or form an emotional connection with the children will be scrutinized by those children as adults. Those children will know they were not really loved & they will secretly resent that kind of parent. I have witnessed it….the only easy part about taking the easy route is that at the time, it is easy.

The law is against parents they basically take our authority away. Then they want to turn around if your kids are bad and blame you for it. That’s why these kids nowadays are so out of hand. Parents feel like they can’t really even discipline their children because it could cause them to go to jail. Unfortunately, when you speak your children, sometimes it leaves a mark. Marcus I went through a similar situation on December 28th until the 23rd of January and everyone was saying why is he here just for fees with murderers and rapist. I did it 11 yrs ago but for 4yrs I was in the prayer room and I'm still watching but my church didn't walk with me and avoiding talking to me. Theirs been something dark trying to break me on top of my battles with sin and shame fights. I'm believing it's coming off as I'm watching

i got arrested and taken to a mental hospital for ten days of persecution my diagnosis was patient believes Jesus is coming back. they could not touch me or even come in my room without my permission and Jesus showed up brought glory and turned it into a worship fest after cops got called ten times to check on me i got the eternal gospel song if they come back i will sing it to them

Thank you for sharing your testimony. I also had a situation with DCF. They threatened to take away my kids & my parental rights. God allowed me to endure several months without my kids, going back & forth to court, it was one of the most hardest seasons in my life. But God kept me through it all. Well it’s been a year since my kids been back home with me and to God be all the glory!

If DHS doesn't have a warrant to enter, you don't have to answer the door. Too many open that door just because it's DHS. 4th Amendment 😊 gotta have a warrant to enter.

Lord have mercy Jesus. I went through this with my youngest son. He called the police on me because I switched his legs and he went to school with switch welts on his legs. His teacher told him that he could press charges against me. The police officer assessed the situation and saw that he wasn’t abused nor had been after extensive questioning so he pulled me to the side and thanked me for disciplining my son. He told me just don’t leave any marks on his body because they can be misconstrued. He went on to say that better for me to discipline him now then for him to have to kill him later on down the road. I told my son that every time he called the police, he better pray that they locked me up and throw away the keys because I won’t have a child that I can’t discipline. I have never had a problem with him since.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

As a little girl I got beaten by my alcoholic dad butt naked with a belt for everything someone told him I did. My narcissistic mother tortured me. I got beaten for being in the same room as my youngest sister because she didn't want me in the same room with her. I didn't say one word to her. I was not a bad child. Two of my sisters did things to me my parents still don't know about. My mother told me she wished she never had me. I had to get switches off the tree too. My parents took their anger out on me. Three of my sisters encouraged my parents abuse toward me. My oldest sister told me she was jealous of me. Other family members abused me too. I abused myself because of my family members abused. I have nothing to do with my family. I pray for GOD to use them for HIS glory. The one this I wish I had I still hope for. That is family.

My dad was sober for 22 years then my mom encouraged him and he started back drinking when she thought he wouldn't get out of hand. It backfired on her really bad. I tried to be in their lives as an adult but they all just take from me what I have a use me for what I get. I felt so dumb for years of not knowing the witchcraft my mom and sisters were doing to me. GOD showed me a few years ago. I've stayed away, no contact every since. I have always felt so alone on earth though JESUS comforts me.

This happened to my family as well. DCS came to my house as well. The lady told me we aren't allowed to give children spankings/whipping. If we do, you are only to use your hands. Thank God no arrest were made. Case closed. I am old school and have no plans of changing my ways.

My daughter was putting her children in the nursery and I said Marcus and you smiled and looked at me. I felt like I’ve known you for years…since at least your car ministry. I know all about your military, your children, your wedding, watching the church be fixed up, all your music, etc., my daughter saw you were coming and I almost cried!!! My mom saw you for the first time !!! My daughter got baptized. All this to say … you are touching many lives with your ministry of Jesus Christ!!! He doesn't have to make a video and explain anything, but if he's going to, one would think the other most important person in this exchange would be the primary focus, instead of solely defending himself before viewers draw their own conclusions.

I was raised by 2 parents who didn't understand the difference between discipline and abuse. CPS showed up more than once and it prevented my siblings from going through what I went through...Glory to God! I vowed never to discipline my own children the way they did and by the grace of God I was able to keep that vow. I whipped both of mine with a belt ONCE (one hit) when they were really young and I NEVER had to use a physical form of discipline ever again. Discipline is Biblical. Abuse is not. Praise God.

@@JohnnyNada Not necessarily. Unnecessary repeated hits that may or may not leave marks is abuse. Emotional "marks" are invisible on the outside. Starving a child doesn't leave bruises; but, it's still a form of abuse. Punishment that doesn't fit the crime is abuse. Some people bruise easily so one hit, with a wooden spoon for example, could instantly leave a mark; but, not be abuse. And not all children need to be spanked. Some learn through teaching/educating. Brother Marcus used the belt as a last resort. A belt is painful but not deadly. Physical discipline should always be the last resort, not your first reaction, and NEVER deadly.

Marcus with that awesome voice you have you should’ve sung. Demon can’t take praise and worship music. There is a story of a man got a job in an insane asylum. But everyone was incoherent so he couldn’t communicate in talking. So he sat in the center of the cells on the floor and started singing JESUS LOVES ME. Everyday he did that and the slowly but surely people got better and were released. When his assignment was done, only two people were left. He with his singing and God cleared out that floor! GOD IS ABSOLUTELY GOOD!!! 👍

Thank you for sharing your testimony and never feel bad or apologize for being a good father that disciplines his children out of love. Your child may not understand this now but she will in time. You may have had to endure a night in prison for correcting your child but what is a night in prison for you or anger management classes in comparison to your child eventually knowing she is loved and cared for by her father who is correcting her in her sinful behavior? When she is standing in the presence of the Lord (and you) this tribulation moment in your life will be revealed as a blessing for both you and her. Brother Marcus, I too was wrongly incarcerated 1 month ago, I was out on bail and nervous the entire 3 weeks waiting for my court date, the DA rejected my case all thanks to God. Just now seeing this. It makes me so mad when I hear stuff like this. We've got horrible people out there on the streets doing all sorts of terrible things to others yet they walk around free among us. Then, you've got kids that need disciple so they don't end up LIKE those people yet when parents try to discipline THEIR OWN KIDS, the parents are punished. It's as if they WANT the kids to fail in the end. Sorry you had to go through this. We need more dads (and moms) willing to do what needs to be done (within reason, of course) to make sure their children grow up to be responsible, respectful adults. I have no idea how I would have turned out if it had not been for all the switches my mom and grandma made me pick or the belts my dad ripped out of those belt loops (I can still hear that sound today LOL) and I am thankful every day that they did what they did. They never went over board but they did what they needed to do in order to get my attention. I never needed it very often but when I did, they took care of it. I always knew they loved me and I never thought it was abuse in any way (because when it happened, it was because I had done something I KNEW I should not have done).

Oh my goodness this is absolutely led by the Holy Spirit for you to post this at THIS time. My husband and I are going through the same situation!!!! We are a blended family and he disciplined one of our four children and the belt used did leave a bruise and now we are going through a case with the Department of Children and Families. We had plans to vacation this summer, but now we can't because we can't even have the children without supervision it's really so crazy! The child barely made it through school he got in trouble literally every week and he even got into trouble at church so discipline is needed but I do understand leaving a bruise just looks so bad regardless of the fact. I see what the enemy is doing to children today and we come against it in the name of Jesus! WE as parents will raise our kids the right way and we will not allow society or the government to raise them!!! My husband and I will pray for you and your family as you go through this situation.
