Talk about Brighton & Hove Albion, they almost got relegated out of the Football League in 1997. It was a "shoot-out" on the final day of the season in League Division 3 (back then, it was the 4th tier of English football) where if they lost against Hereford United, they would get relegated but they didn't.

Rebuild St Mirren. They get little money from owners and have had to rely on loans and free transfers. They have the chance to get Europe this year for this first time in a VERY long time. I think a Scottish career would be very good.

Got into football due to the most recent World Cup and started playing FIFA 23. First career mode I did was with Brighton and I signed Xavi Simons. We ended up having the same exact birthday and he ended at a 97 for me. Will never forget that signing and rebuild, it’s what really got me into fifa.

I am playing Career with Brighton, and it’s my fav save ever on fifa, I’m doing it like they are doing, get play for max 35mil and sell them for profit when they are 80mil or more, and I’m doing it every season. Great club, great career mode for me, found so many hidden gens it’s unreal

As a Brighton fan myself, I firmly believe that the reason for poor form is an insane amount of injuries. (but media doesn't pick up on it because we're not a big 6 club) Genuinely we've lost gametime from over 30 separate injuries to various players, spanning from one game to the rest of the season with players like Solly March. Tie that also with the three matches per week schedule whilst using youth players and you get a team struggling everywhere. Every club's first European season is a horrible one.

I feel like you could add some realism by selling 2 of your 5 best players (not just the 32+ ones) at the end of the season and replace them with young talents. Brighton probably needs to sell for big sums each season to stay healthy as a club
