Did you know the HAUNTING ADELINE from H.D Carlton (set in a ‘haunted’ mansion, dark, gothic and spooky as hell romance, stalker that low key gave me the chills but I wanted him in my bed, was at the edge of my seat but in the best way possible) was banned in the first month of its release on Amazon? That’s how deliciously dark it is! And also Vibe from Liza James has been banned as well for being too dark and smutty? They will most likely ban Hush since that’s WAY WAAAYYY darker than Vibe. 💡Video Idea: Rating Banned Books from Amazon. Are they really worthy enough to be banned? bestie you HAVE to read the seven husbands of evelyn hugo!! i know it's a hyped up book and you don't really like that, but if you just go in with medium expectations you should be fine! it is an old hollywood story filled with a lot of pain, but also so much strength (as early hollywood wasn't the safest or best place for women) and has the writing style of the author of malibu rising, so you sort of know what you're getting into

for this specific book , the plot needed an age gap, cause he was her BF father. had to be alteast 15 yrs older than her unless she was dating a guy way younger than her

@@areebah414 it’s a mix of romance, coming of age, crime/murder mystery. Delia Owens really makes you feel all of the main character’s emotions, especially the romance side of it!

@@areebah414 emma's got it! romance features in it but i wouldn't say is exactly the main plot? but it's all blended extremely well, you're very invested in all of it, and it takes quite a few turns. it's been a while since i felt like i was that "in" a book while reading it!

You need to make a goodreads account so you can keep track of all the books you read! You can also set a year challenge of how many books you want to read this year (you’re probably already beating me😅)

GIRL you should read "You Deserve Each Other" by Sarah Hogle -- I just loved how their relationship wasn't driven by lust alone and it was about a relationship falling apart and coming back together in the most wholesome way

The Deal was a Wattpad original. Idc what anyone says. I’ve read a book on wattpad so freaking similar down to every little plot in the book. I haven’t read the deal but it’s tooooo similar to be a coincidence. Down to the the familiarity of the Authors name, the characters names, the titles name, and the fact that Haley said he calls girls puck bunnies, and again the plot makes me feel like this absolutely was a wattpad book even though I can’t find it anywhere to confirm.

Personally, I really liked Birthday Girl even though I'm not a fun of age-gap stories. It somehow felt realistic in terms of how the characters reacted to the situation they were in. And also it wasn't too dramatised like some stories that just make you want to rip your hair out in frustration. If I was ever in a similar situation, I think I would have probably handled things like the female protagonist in the book.

I think you’d really enjoy Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren! It’s such a fun friends to lovers story, and even though I didn’t like the ending, I completely fell in love with the main characters and their relationship!!

I almost started to laugh out loud when I saw the Song of Achilles on the list and that you bought and read it. It was an interesting read and this is from someone who loves Greek mythology. I wasn’t expecting anything more but this definitely makes me feel inspired to read books again

I think you would like Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas more than Birthday Girl but her books are all spicy and dark. That's just what she writes and nothing else hahaha

I’m not a huge fan of romance books that don’t have the “emotional” aspect either. If you like more emotional reads, I think you would love Archers Voice! Its a friends to lovers, and they connect through their trauma. They’re both healing together, and it was so beautiful. It’s one of my favorites.

I feel like there’s nothing wrong with not liking a popular book. Everyone’s reading taste is different and we can’t all like the same books. There is a point in saying your bad review on a popular book because that way those in your situation would feel represented as well. The book community knows that just because someone has an unpopular opinion, that doesn’t make anyone’s opinions less valid. Loved your video btw ❤️

the addicted/calloway sisters series is my absolute fav!! the characters and their relationships are truly so unique and special i literally cried all throughout the last 3 books lol

For a sweet, soulmate read, pick up One Day in December!! It’s so good and it’s a very slow burn but it’s so worth it because the story and the character are amazing.

You’ll probably like a lot of Colleen Hoover’s books! Most of them are pretty soulmate type deeper connection romances. Heart bones is super cute, all your perfects, November 9 (when you get your hands on it), maybe someday (not my personal favorite of her’s but it’s cutesy) and hopeless (check trigger warnings)

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas! It does have quite a few smut scenes but it’s kind of like bestfriends/penpals to lovers high school romance And the main male character starts off as being cocky and arrogant at first to the male female lead but their relationship evolves which I love and I love his story

I'm in love with the off campus and briar u series. Its my absolute favorite. The characters are soo good and their friendship seems so real. I really recommend reading the second book. Many people say it's the worst book but personally it's my favorite.

Late comment but I highly recommend Bright Side by Kim Holden (also its sequel Gus)! It's possibly my all-time favorite, it's very sad and happy at the same time. It made me laugh and sob so much, it's filled with music and some of the best characters and connections between characters ever! Felt the friendship and love pop off the page. It's changed how I look at life. I hope the main character Kate inspires others like she does me.

Girlll, you should read the "Throne of glass" series, everybody gives the hype to ACOTAR, but I personally think that its only spicy scenes, but TOG has a really caracther development and good plots. I think you will love

This is the first time I’ve ever gotten into reading because of you!!! I’m reading “The Summer I Turned Pretty” by Jenny Han trilogy and I’m OBSESSED with it, after 3 days I’m already on the second book!

book rec: not a romance and i’m only 75% done with it but read Pretty Girls. it is a thriller/mystery. however definitely check for trigger warnings before hand because oh my god is this book graphic. definitely 18+ definitely need to have a strong stomach to read it. synopsis: basically it is about two sisters who haven’t spoken in 18 years. their sister went missing a few years before and then one of their husbands is murdered. and everything is connected in the end and it is mind blowing with so many twists and turns!! so good!

From Penelope Douglas you should read punk 57 it’s soo good! I didn’t read birthday girl the age gap is just way too big for me and the plot boyfriends dad just no.

You have convinced me to read Addicted to You because I agreed with almost everything you said about the other books!

Fiction doesn’t mean unrealistic. Even fantasy can be realistic if the characters act like people in real life would act under those fantastic circumstances. So just because The Deal is fiction doesn’t mean that it’s impossible for the author to write it realistically. In other words, don’t downplay your criticisms for that reason.
