Where the mountain meets the moon by grace Lin and 3. A tale of magic by Chris Colfer it’s a trilogy and probably my fave book I have ever read so very highly recommend

Lol Tower of Dawn was originally just supposed to be a novella, but SJM wrote way more than she expected and it just turned into a full length novel 😂

I love the slow descent into crying at the end of each book. you're so real for that.

Destinys room is legit goals I wish I could have her room. Like imagine all the art supplies I could have in there and book shelves with books and K-pop albums omg the dream. I could even have a small couch 😂😂😂

Yes, Legendborn is kinda information overload-i would not read that book if you’re in a slump. But PLEASE give it another chance because Bloodmarked was a five star book for me-SO worth getting through the first book for the second one!!

it’s a little bit confusing at first but after you’re introduced to the world & the characters it really picks up

My mom and I are reading each others favorite books I have to read Pride & Prejudice and my mom has to read The Song of Achilles

Throne of Glass is my favourite series, I'm so glad you loved it! And I'm genuinely so happy to hear when anyone tries it. It's a really big undertaking but I think it's worth it. The characters are amazing, they grow so much over the series. I implore anyone willing, to read these books (and if you didn't like the first few, please keep going at least until Queen of Shadows because that book is probably one of the best books I've ever read)

10000% agree. Queen of shadows just makes the series a lot more intricate and feels like you get deeper into the world. I’m on book 6 rn but its still such a good series!

Legendborn is actually phenomenal like the plot twists were insaneee! Definitely should pick it up again

Fortunately I read the ballad of never knowing it was gonna be a trilogy. I can't imagine reading the second book and thinking that was the ending😢

I also went into a huge fantasy reading slump after Kingdom of Ash! I wanted to read another fantasy, but any book I read after KOA didn’t compare. I ended up reading a thriller after to help me get out of that little slump

how hard is it to talk about ToG without spoilers, right? you literally can't mention any names!!! 😅 thank god I never tried filming reading vlogs on it, you are brave, Des!

Destiny's describing the feeling you get at the end of The Ballad Of The Never After is the best description I have ever heard!❤

Aelin is my favorite book character ever. I don’t know if it’s because I spent so many books with her but following her journey, read and seen what’s my mind’s played as I read the books and all the sacrifice that she’s been through just breaks my heart and building it back up and repeat. Just love love her.

I definitely agree with the character from Tower of Dawn! That character didn't need a redemption arc IMO. I understood why the character did what they did.

The only reason people were upset with ToD is cause we had to wait a year (I think) after the cliff hanger of EoS and she brought that one out then another year for KoA. That’s why people are sour but I loved it! It has one of my fave characters in it. I think it is a great book, long but it kept me hooked 😂

A lot of people have a hard time reading more fantasy after finishing the ToG series. I know I had the BIGGEST fantasy hangover as well after reading them. I've also seen a lot of people on tik tok with the same problem.
