​@@PvtVallen that is a bug in the deck tracker. You can't lose MMR for 1st place. What likely happened was the deck tracker crashed before the end of a game where Jeef lost MMR for a lower place. e.g. he starts with 17.500 MMR He finishes 4th and loses like 70 MMR, but the deck tracker crashes before the end of the game, so it does not recognize 4th place. Then he resets the DT and gets 1st (e.g. +30 MMR). The deck tracker does not know he played 2 games, so it only shows the 1st place, and the calculus: he started with 17 500 and would have 17.460 after the first place game. So the DT assumes he lost MMR for that game alone.

I try to paly battlegrounds ... when I watch these videos, I just do not get most of what he is doing :D like magic :D

The secret to these turns is not thinking too much about it. It's generally more important to spend all or as much of your gold as you can into either more gold or very powerful cards (like the divine shield spell) than to ensure every click is perfect. There are tons of "misplays" he makes but again, that was never the point :) As for taking the triple, if you are referring to Thetys that would definitely be a incorrect play though, it's better 2 have to on the board and make 1 golden through the Naga than tripling it without knowing when you would find a replacement to the second tethys

@@voidgods How many people do you think in comments have 10k+ ratings? I'd say 51%, I'm still a noob at 7k, with 2 whole seasons I thought I'd get further 8k at least. I just think it's cool to see the number go higher. Playing for mmr, and playing to win, doesn't always match up - eg: When the rng is that you are too strong early or get a ghost, leaving undestroyed units 1 turn make you fall behind.

​@XxNZxXDivisionary not many have 10k+ rating, if you think its 51% its straight up impossible unless you ONLY mean people that write comments, not all that watch the videos. But thats a bit of an odd way of measure it since this changes with every video. Point being there aren't even enough people in 10k+ to cover 51% of the viewers. My guess would be 1-2% of all viewers (if even) are 10k+, while a majority doesn't even play the game (anymore)

Was watching the stream before going to sleep and thought there is no way he gets to 19k today.....

someone better than me can you explain why going pirates there was the best option over mechs. I'm typing this even after he gets Tethys. I just would have assumed that with the quest combo, mech were always better and I don't see how pirates could be better, other than with his quest he can give them divine shield which is otherwise hard to get on a pirate board. Is it just because setting up mechs is harder to do given that you have to find constant magnetics or get scraper on top of boxer? I'm only a wee 7.5K MMR player Jeef has made me so much better but I have no idea why pirates are better here Edit: okay literally 5 seconds later he finds another Tethys, Greta and an underhanded

1. This quest is just for tempo dont let it decide your entire direction. 2. He will take the first infinite gold option. Had he got the beat boxer with the accords he probably stays mechs since the route to infinite gold would be there

Another reason for going pirates is the economoy you get which allows you to find the rest of the minions you need. Since he missed the beat boxer on the triples he doesnt have the money to consistently find it. Rolling for it with 12 gold only in the bank would be super awkward
