i love rainbow shelves aesthetically but I don't like separating my series so I don't have a rainbow shelf. Instead i organize by genre.

I personally keep my series together and after that put all the other books in rainbow! (I remember books mostly by their colour so it works very well, and that way I don’t have to split up series)

i do this too with my stand alone books as well. but overall i arrage it according to the genres

My shelves have different levels of how I order them. The first level is the genre. Next I group them be author and after that I order them by vibes and color. This video made me so happy because I love seeing peoples bookshelves 😍

Very interesting to hear you break down both these bookshelves and BookTube's consumerist tendencies. Didn't even know about the Colleen Hoover thing, so we love a king who keeps us both entertained and informed!

I'm so glad you liked my shelves. The candle shelf has candles, mugs, and teacups on it. The only problem with the extra shelf is the bottom shelf is too short to stack hardcovers standing up now so I had to put them laying down.

This definitely gave me motivation (+ inspiration) to reorganize my own bookshelves (sadly, I have so many books and so little space 🥲) I’m definitely a ‘sort by genre’ kind of person!

Ahahaha! I was just scrolling on my feed and was like that looks like my library, oh wait it is!! Lol! I Clicked so fast! Love seeing all the different shelf submissions you got and you are so sweet!! Can’t wait to see what you do with your shelves! 💖💖

I only organize alphabetically by author and I don’t have any decorations on my shelves (I keep my books pretty far forward on the shelves) but one thing I do is I pull out the books that I haven’t read just a little bit so they stick out on the shelves and I’m able to find them at a quick glance instead of searching for them ❤

I wish the pictures were bigger. I want to see them in all of its glory. Thank you for this!

I love this idea and your comments about the bookshelves. Such pretty and creative ways of displaying the books. I have yet a long way to create my ideal bookshelf but this definitely gave me a lot of ideas and constructive criticism about how mine is presented now. I suggest as free decoration just using things that you have done like drawings, doodles, origami, maybe writing your favourite book quotes and put them in a jar... I love your channel! So cozy and full of incredible recommendations

my bookshelf is color coordinated, maintaining the series together tho, since I'm a very visual person (I can't remember names, but I can remember the cover color lol) and I have a space for the books that I haven't read yet just so I don't forget them 😅

I will need to put up a second shelf in the near future, because the one I have is overcrowded and my self imposed one year book-buying-ban is almost over (I should probably extend it, considering how many unread books I still have) Anyway. I am currently debating whether I should separate the shelves into German and English, or into fiction and nonfiction. What do you wonderful people think?

pretty much all the books on my shelves are flipped so the pages face out lol. it started with only having my unread books flipped cause i don't have space, but i liked how it looked so much that i flipped them all. its really pretty when a lot are annotated and have tons of tabs.

I organize by genre usually 🤗

I organize my books alphabetically and don't need to organize in genre because most of my books are fantasy

I fucking love Leigh Bardugo but tbh you can skip King of Scars and especially Rule of Wolves. I loved Nikolai and Zoya's parts but the plot was just bad and somehow Nina's parts were bad too, rip.
