I started playing Pokémon Go late last year and I would do anything to go back and start playing when the game was released in 2016. I would have really loved to experience every event and see every new Pokémon & costume and see how the game had evolved since 2016 to present day. I love Pokémon Go and I love the vids Mystic7. Keep it up

trust me it was awesome especially finding pokemon like dragonite, charizard, lapras especially, ditto, and snorlax was insane

I remember getting a shiny Lugia in 2018, going absolutely insane because my friend had previously gotten one when I hadn’t. After the IVs came out I found out it was a hundo. Still one of my most prized possessions to this day!

i miss my 2016 collection, I traded them away to help buddies rank up to level 50, and also when i didn't get a shiny legendary (rayquaza) to guarantee lucky. My earliest mon now is the shiny Magikarp (now Gyarados) from the 2017 water event. Love the nostalgia. Hyped for global go fest

I just started playing again a few weeks ago after a 6-year hiatus. I went hard in 2016, even used external IV checkers before they ever became a thing. I still have almost 400 2016 pokémon, some 100% IVs and a buttload of very high IVs

Started mid-2018, don't have my original anymore but I still have several that I caught within my first week of playing, including a 93% IV Gyarados, a Moltres caught from field research before I had even unlocked Ultra Balls, and my shiny Charizard from the community day that happened within the first month of me joining.

It’s crazy you dropped this video today; yesterday I was thinking of sending you a breakdown of my prized possession in PoGo that would’ve fit in well with this video :’)

My best pokemon from 2016 is my 100% Vaporeon and a close second is my 98 Sandslash from 2016 as well. What an awesome video showing some of the best catches from the past.

You technically could check ivs back in the day by decoding what the appraiser would say about its strength: if it stated that one of its stats was at the highest level and matched by the other two, it was a hundo.

You could check for perfects in game in 2016, the team leader would have 4 options of phrases they would say and they corresponded with 1*,2*,3* and 4*, "perfect" was in the 4* phrase if i remember correctly.

I loved this game sooo much back in the day ! Really glad the memories of playing.

After this video I was curious what I had and found a Hundo Tauros caught 7/15/2016 when I was in the army so that was pretty cool haha

My rarest mons from 2016 would be my Dugtrio & Golem with mud shot. Took me a while to realize they were special, and I'm lucky I never discarded them.

Back when I learnt that we could search for 4* to look for 100% pokémon, only a Dratini from 2016 (16/08) popped up. So yeah, I have a level 40 100% Dragonite with its com day move Draco Meteor!

This vid reminded me that PoGO did not release at the same time globally. Turns out I have 2 pokemon from before release in my area. Fittingly it is a Nidoking (July 10th 2016) and Nidoqueen (July 13th 2016) which are also my 2 oldest.

Kind of crazy you happen to post this video today. I actually just started playing Pokemon Go again a month ago after grinding the game hard in 2016 and quitting in October of that year. When I started back playing I had created a new account and now I am up to level 33. But just this morning Google sent me the email that allowed me to recover my old google account and man what a great day it was. Today for the first time in seven years I logged back into my original Pokemon Go account and inside I got 400 awesome 2016 tagged pokemon and almost anything you can imagine from what was available in the first 4 months of the game. Mystic I say this in all seriousness man. If you would like to borrow the account for a couple days and make a short video and show this beautiful thing to the world I will allow you to. I love your videos and think you would do a miraculous job of showing the beauty of it so just hit me up on here if your interested! I think the Pokemon Go community would love to see it!!!

so bummed i missed this video i would've shared my 93 dragonite from 8/29/2016 that i caught while grinding pier 39 and later that same day i ran into you and we took a pic together in front of bubba gumps.

Only thing I kept from 2016 is a victreebel 11/12/15. It was the only thing I could find in mass in my area at the time.

I hatched two 100% Machops back to back a couple months ago. Just finished buddying them both today.

I have a lot of cool 2016 Pokemon but one of my favorites is the 2016 Cubone I have that I evolved into a Alolan marowak during an event.

The only Pokemon I kept from 2016 after I started again in 2020, is a dratini I walked as my first buddy ever. Imagine my surprise when IV checks came around and it turned out to be a 100%! Now it is my maxed out best buddy Dragonite. My biggest flex for sure

I got a electabuzz back in January 2016, before I got IV checkers. Later, I learned that it was hundo!! So happy I kept it all this time. My sister also still has her first chairzard, my squirtle is long gone lol. My oldest pokemon I have on my account is a kingdra I probably had as a horsea in 2016.

This was some awesome nastalgia. Wish i could have submitted for this one. Lots of cool 2016 Pokemon. Highlights are a 7/10 snorlax. 2x 100% Dragonite from September. level 1 snorlax from a vacation in st petersburgh florida. 13x 100% overall from 2016. 100+ pokemon kept from 2016

I actually have myself a few caught hundos from 2016 including a Santa hat Raichu. Honorable mention to my 98% Snorlax as well

at 7:23 you can see that the coloring around the stars from the glaceon is not red but orange so most likely it is not a 100% iv pokemon and it is just badly foto shopt

I still have my very first costume pokemon it was a costume Kirlia. I remember myself and other kids at the teens summer camp begging the camp leaders to let us play pokemon go on their phones and we walked circles to hatch eggs. On my mom's phone we would drive at the walking cap to catch pokemon using the old tracking system. The first buddy on that account was a Pikachu. I came back during 2021 when I got my phone.

Love my Hundo Vaporeon from 2016! It's great in PVP as well!

My oldest Pokémon was actually my first ever catch from 2016, unfortunately I transferred the charmander I caught first but the second catch was a 98% kabutops

I got access to my old 2016/17 account a few months ago. Has around 600 old Pokémon and It’s been an absolute thrill trading the lucky 15 guaranteed trades. Got them all recorded as well to throw up as a video one day. Funny timing this video drops 😅 the universe will universe

My luck is actually insane i got 3 nihilego ,1 shadow articuno,1 solgaleo and currently evolving one cosmoem to lunala and these shinies wild charizard,sceptile,murkrow,finneon,solrock,obstagoon,staraptor,spritzee,cottonee,stunfisk i got this all in past 3 days and also these are my most rare mons till to this day 😮

I didn't knew the perfect IV for Lugia - was bettling in capital a couple raids and already trowing last ball a member of that group just asking the IV - thelling them and he goes thats a hundo - tnx good i did catch it... but the surprise and stress did kick in since a lot of them that day was running a way...

My 1st ever Lugia raid a 2056CP, and it sounded high but someone told me they heard 2064 was perfect. Well turns out they had no idea and 2056 was in fact perfect. It ran on me. The 1st legendary raid release was a perfect for me, and it ran. Still hurts.

Back in 2016 you could use an app to tell your IV - the nundo message was different too

One time I was lucky enough to find wild Dragonite, I wanted to catch that, but my brother took my phone and tried to catch him. He missed every pokeball from my inventory, not even one hit, and I didn't have any pokestops around me. I still didn't forgive him :D

Only got 1 pokemon from 2016. I traded it (it was a santa hat Pikachu) for another santa hat pikachu recently, it went lucky and i evolved it (sadly no hundo) A lucky santa hat Raichu from December 2016

My only 2016 left is a 2 star Santa hat Raichu. I wish i had my original bulbasaur

No 100% IVs from 2016 but 3 98% Rapidash, Rhyperior and Vileplume all from July 2016.

Still kept my original Pikachu cause you had to do a trick to catch it, all stats are 10 but can't get rid of it My best pokemon from 2016 and still one of my top ones is a 15,15,14 Gyarados, this guy saved my ass in so many battles and still does to this day, just sad I never got the mega candies for him

I played in 2016 for 1 month and came back to the game in February 2023. Left most of those Pokémon untouched. I have a 96 Vaporeon, 98 kingdra, 3 star staryu with the true legacy movie quick attack and of course my original starter charmander untouched.

Mines not 2016 but I have a 100 percent iv 2017 ash hat raichu funny how the glaceon wasn't in the game in 2016 but because he had an eevee and held on to it for 3 years he was able to evolve it. Kinda wild

The guy at 10:16 caught his dragonite on 8/11 and Mystic caught supposedly the “same one” but it was on 8/27 see at 13:06. Either the guy is lying or someone is wrong.
