WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 GM Mode was so addicting on PS2, Xbox 360, and PSP. Also, all the moves you can do on the ropes and get disqualified. One of the best Wrestling games in my opinion.

You definitely have to play wwe13 2k14 and 2k16 for their showcase mode 13: is attitude era from the formation of dx to wrestlemania 15, 2k14: is 30 years of wrestlemania, and 2k16: stone cold career from the Hollywood blonds in wcw all the way to his last match at wrestlemania 19, so much nostalgia

A lot of classics missing. The def jam games and rumble roses missing is crazy. We even don’t have Simpsons Wrestling or Celebrity Deathmatch

SvR 2007 below 2008 makes my stomach hurt

My only disappointment is they left out Saturday Night Slam Masters and 3 Count Bout. I love those games.

2008 WAS GARBAGE... this list is way off

King of Colosseum 2 was extremely good. It had somewhat of a steep learning curve, but once you got the hang of it, you could have some banger matches with friends. I haven't played it in years, it probably has a translation patch by now. It's worth checking out

Rgt 85, if you haven't played KOC series, you might not want to do this list until you have. Imagine FP wrestling with 3D graphics and better use of the FP grappling system. The one you said you didn't play was the green version to the KOC 1. There is also a red version that goes with it. KOC 2 is God tier. They improved the entire engine

Way too many great games unplayed!

Prior to 2K getting it together with 22 and 23, WWE2K14 was the best game for the longest time, the roster was amazing, so many nWo members, Hollywood Rock, etc. RGT not playing this is a travesty that needs to be corrected. Get a copy for the 360 at once!! 🔥

Nice video! wrestling games used to be such a big reason I loved games in the 90s and 2000s. Never play anymore. Wish the list was done in order of release but tall task. Well done.

Yeah I was shocked to hear he hadn’t played it! One of my favorites of more modern wrestling games. Anything attitude era I will swoon over 😂 but really great showcases and such. I wish they would do another attitude era focused game in the new era of 2k series.

Rumble Roses is well worth a play through. It's not a game for pervs, or not just for pervs. It's actually a pretty good wrestling game, not the best for customization and what not but the wrestling itself is deeper than you would think. How about a part 2 with Pro Wrestling on the nes, Mat Mania Arcade and the many other wrestling games that weren't on this one?

Memories of playing WCW vs NWO Revenge for the N64 with my brother have to be some of my best childhood gaming memories. That game was simply amazing.

I highly recommend you play 2K 14, 16, and 19

I have never played a wrestling game in my life. But I love RGT so I’m buckling up and watching this vid.

AEW Fight Forever’s base combat mechanics are great though still buggy but it’s just lacking content right now. Playing it now feels like playing WCW/nWO: World Tour. They also need to fix the balancing and pacing issues that leaves players constantly mashing the buttons for a very long time to just get up from the mat early in the match. I hated this in Day of Reckoning 1 & 2. AKI perfected it with all of their games.

Thank you for putting Wrestling Empire in A tier. Probably the most underrated wrestling game to come out in the last few years and I've been singing its praises since i bought it. The career and booking modes are probably the best out of any game out there.

I was playing Smackdown Here Comes the Pain today I had a Blast playing it on the PS2.

Legends of Wrestlemania had a thing where you could 'import' the Smackdown vs. Raw current roster into the game back when it was out.

Tough tiering my fave wrestling games. I'd say I haven't played many. If I had to pick my favorites, they would be: 1. WWE Day of Reckoning 2 2. WWF No Mercy 3. Saturday Night Slammasters 4. WWE '12 5. WWF Royal Rumble (SNES) The SNES Royal Rumble was the first wrestling game I played...I probably rented it at least 5 times as a kid. Don't know why...lol.

Smackdown Here comes the Pain was definitely the Wrestling game that I played the most! I loved how you could create a wrestler, win the title, and it would keep track of your stats and titles. I must have played season mode 40 - 50 times between all of my characters! I also had fun with Fire Pro Wrestling on the PS2. RetroMania was also good but it felt like half of a game I'm still waiting for it to be continued. MIA on this list were Pro Wrestling on the Sega Master System, and the Nes game that was also called Pro Wrestling but was completely different ( and both were way better than Wrestlemania on the NES!)

Great list! I stuck around for the whole thing! Like others have said, highly recommend WWE '13 and WWE 2K14. Two of the best wrestling games ever made. Worth the price of admission alone for the Attitude Era mode in 13 and the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode in 2K14. For as big of a wrestling game fan as you are, you're missing some crucial pieces of the pantheon without these classics!

The N64 was THE best time for wrestling games. Revenge is the goat wcw nwo world tour is great too.

Wwf Magazine put out the super moves for WWF Raw 16-Bit after the game came out to promote it more.. I remember reading those & doing Owen Hart's the most.. Doink's was always fun too

War Zone was sick you also have to consider that it was the first 3D WWF game. The moves were difficult to pull off but the pay off when you actually got it was intoxicating.

You should try wwe2k14. It was the culmination of the PS3/Xbox 360 wrestling era. 30 years of wrestlemania was amazing, Undertaker streak mode was probably the best AI ever made for a wrestling game. Tons of matches, arenas, belts, moves, entrences that can all be customizable. Create a finisher was probably the first and last time where it was not that buggy and the Roster was also pretty good. The best thing is that is like a old school fighting game where you need to go throw 30years of wrestlemania to unlock 90% of the stuffs from the game. I hope this year the 40years of wrestlemania mode is as fun as it was in wwe2k14

Sounds like you've got some catching up to do while emulating games on a few of those unplayed gems. I've got a soft spot for the portable WWF games. They may not be much more complex than the original NES Wrestlemania...but I spent hours on em in the car

I also like the first two Smackdown games and disliked that as the gameplay refined it seemed to take modes like "I quit" match out in favor of Fatal Fourway. I also really liked that the original game popped up the names of the moves but none of the games afterwards had that option. The later games also balanced the play more, I guess, by making it harder to come back late in the match by running away, haha.

There was another arcade game back in the day too... WWF SuperStars.

I don’t get how ppl think revenge is better than wm 2000. Wm had more to offer and the inclusion of CAW just changed everything. You can literally bring in the wcw roster into the wwf. No mercy, wm 2000, revenge, in that order

If you can look into the save file stuff with Action Replay, it's a fantastic time. I'd say World is just better overall but Returns holds up super well once you get used to it.

5 or 6 of the Japanese ones you didn't recognize were from the New Japan Pro Wrestling series. Power Moves Pro was an anonymized port of NJPW 2, so based on your thoughts on that they're definitely worth checking out. 2 was good, 3 was better, 4 I didn't play a lot of though weirdly I do have the Naomi arcade cartridge thing of it. Language barrier but really just have to learn a few menu screens and a couple settings, so not horrible. Sadly, the N64 ones are skippable as they messed with the control setup for them and the result was not fantastic.

puro games you gotta check out KOC red and green which you can combine to have the whole roster, wrestle kingdom 1-2, king of colosseum 2(has an english patch now) Giant Gram 2000 is very fun, and ,toukon retsuden 3-4

2k17 is underrated decent gameplay unique menu similar to HCTP and SvR 05 using the wreslters actually models in the menu .

King of Colosseum, green and red. The game with all the guys on the covers is a Solid a or S tier game it’s fire pro wrestling in 3-D it’s super super good.
