You do know the wiki has all the item codes? You could have just spawned in Gwynbleid and black unicorn. Also the ones you placed in #1 and #2 were upgraded to tier 5 and 5+ at 5+ Gwynbleid does 148 damage.

Byakko for multi enemy encounter and errata/scalpel for bosses. Have all of them in your backpack and you're good to go.

oh thanks for this. im starting a run where im maining katana`s and thank god i picked up both nehan and satori. i didnt understand at first how they worked but thanks to you explaining it. they definitely are in my 1 and 2 weapon slot.

Nice video Ian, planning to run another new game with your tiers in mind. So listen like I know every choom and their input are dissing on Mantis Blades seeing as they aren't as effective as the other arms cyberware in 2.1 but can you do a Tier list for them as well? Im planning a Jack of All Trades build that occupies all weapons slots and having the arms one for melee mainly the mantis blades haha. Salamat.

​@ianilanotv i feel like gwynbleidd deserved higher, seeing as it has nearly the same effect as byakko, massively increasing damage output when you get a couple kills. Actually gwynbleidd's killstreak effect is prob better seing that byakko eats up stamina like crazy. Hard to argue with +1 meter of distancr though

Not sure what you mean with Gwynbleidd and Black unicorn being GOG exclusive? i bought the bundle on Steam and had both of them in my stash at the start of the game. Was under the impression the only pre-requisit was having Phantom Liberty installed as the blades were introduced with that DLC & having Witcher 3 linked on the same account in the case of Gwynbleidd

I bought the base game on Steam and I have Black Unicorn. I think to get them you have to tie your copy of the game to your GoG account through the launcher. You get bunch of other stuff by doing that, in game you get some shirts and out of game you get some wallpapers, the soundtrack, and a PDF of the Cyberpunk 2020 TTRPG sourcebook.

I can't remember the details on how it works but they changed that. I think you can either connect to your GOG account or if you own Witcher 3 on Steam it will give you the swords. Ian probably never heard the news.

Putting Gwynbleidd in Azz tier is disrespect I will not abide. Once your build is off the ground it's better than most others due to it's special effect.

The optical camo can be improved by upgrading it which is easy and cheap you just have to take the upgrade that lowers the cool down time but also reduces you're armor at the same time or if you get lucky it'll lower something else thats less important

the black unicorn and gwenblade you get from just owning the witcher 3 Edit I have them on steam it is possible with getting a different save or using CET to get it

I played through all of Cyberpunk on my Xbox. Now I got it for my PC cause I want he mods. Im u in the air about using a controller vs Keyboard and mouse. Would love to see a video comparing both input styles in Cyberpunk!

They should add dual wielding

Without a doubt, Tsumetogi is the best for the very reason you put katanas with Camo dependent effects so low. It's the one katana that doesnt rely on any cyberware, kills, weapon synergy or elemental effects. On top of that, none of the other katanas can reach its damage output. Even without nonstandard attacks. Its even the last sword you get and its effect rewards those that took time to learn how to use nonstandard strikes in open combat. It benefits the most from any damage buffs like Fury or Dense Marrow. Byakko would be second but as its effect doesnt work that well against Maxtac and bosses since it relies on low hp enemies to get the attack speed. Also, you usually run out of stamina fast which lowers your damage. Though you're putting out more attacks youre doing way less damage. Jinchu Maru is definitely second imo. Though its effect is Camo dependent, the damage amp on skull enemies makes it the only other katana that can amp its damage above Crit hits whr it counts. Another katana that rewards those who learned how to use katanas, exploit the Camo perks, and figured out the loop for it. With the proper perks its basically a secondary OS. Scalpel is the one thats overrated imo. The effect only giving Crit chance is rendered obsolete by mid to late game. Thats why its one of the first you can get. Even having more Shock chance than Tsumetogi doesnt help since Tsumetogi buffs your electric damage by 10%. A shock enhanced, nonstandard attack with Tsumetogi is the most damage you can do in one hit. Satori is by far the most slept on. Though I get why, I believe many will appreciate it more if they understood the Pistol, Throwing Knife, Katana(in that order) and Projectile Launch System weapon combo. The Satori and Nehan pair facilitates Pride in open combat since you need around 80% health to benefit from its increased headshot damage. Not only is Pride, Nehan, and Satori op against Maxtac, its also really fun to use as well. Being able to ignore defense is quite a liberating feeling. Add on the Optical Camo loop and you're in for a ball. Its crazy how many people sleep on outfitting Optical Camo with the right perks and Cyberware. Especially mixed with the weapon combo I mentioned. I'll make a video soon going more in-depth about its and the weapon combo.

I have never played games before. I bought the dang xbox one x used on OfferUp to play Cyberpunk when it launched. Do you know how hard is to aim using xbox controller for me?

Errata is my favourite. The burn damage itself isn't that great but it's the dependable critical damage that makes Errato so good. Pair it with a lot of grenade perks and it makes for a fun assault katana. For when your assault rifle just isn't personal enough. Throw grenades and then rush with sandevistan with a wild spectacle of violence

I literally wasn t able to get the Satori i tried going through the Glas door but i wouldn t open and after the mission i found out there was a katana on top of the bouilding.

Tbug needs to unlock the door, get fried, you can then go upstairs to that door and it'll be unlocked (and don't forget Yorinobu's drip in the luggage by the door too)

I’m new to cyberpunk and I’ve only ever used katanas because I thought it was cool. But a lot of the modifiers and skills in the game seem not to mesh very well, and usually make each other redundant. Like the 100% bleed chance talent making the 30% bleed on katanas useless, making that some kind of life steal talent would work better. Same with the dash attack and finishers. Idk I feel like there’s a lot more opportunity for synergy and different play styles. Maybe there’s mods for that.

They need to add a katanna that gets fully engulfed with electricity flowing through it and it does electrical damage. Also duel wield katanna, before 2.0 there is a katanna u can get from a tyger claw member that has electricity running through it but has no electrical damage.
