@@BaurJoe yeah. I’m running the Eugene marathon in just over 2 months to try to break 3 hours. I ran a 1:26:19 half marathon in November so I think that goal is reachable.

Hot damn! That is a great time. Sounds like you’ve got a good shot at breaking 3!
hey! Thank you very much for the information about the restaurant! I'm sure I'll go with my wife after finishing. I see that she is near the arrival area.-

Thanks, Annette! I'm actually even more excited about my latest running accomplishment, which I'll share in a video later this month... Thanks for watching!
Hi Joe, I loved your film and it put a huge smile on my face. Thank you. I ran too and also made a film (although yours is much classier!) Have a look. I live in France where we have wine marathons... If you'd like to run one, let me know and I can help you out. Best wishes, Dan

Thanks, Dan! Hope you had a good race in Berlin :) Funny you mention wine runs! A friend of mine just did one. Have one you'd recommend doing?

@@BaurJoe Yes, I'd recommend the marathon des vins de Blaye. The famous one is Medoc, but it's almost becoming too big and commercial now. Bon courage !

What shoes did you use in the marathon?

Saucony Triumph 20! Did most of my training in 19 but they fell apart towards the end. Luckily had enough time to break these in. Love ‘em!

To bad we're unable to repurpose obsolete buildings as nicely as the Germans have with the Templehof airport. I think in the US the lot would have been subdivided and thousands of multi-storied, cookie-cutter townhouses built. Nice medal btw!

Definitely plenty the US could learn from Europe in general when it comes to urban planning. Thanks for watching!
