I was about to comment that. If anything, bro should start HSR or something.

My issue is with the performance of the game, such as lags, stuttering, etc. The story is actually good, but the game definitely needs some improvements. Remember it's still a new fresh game.

Sorry to hear that but i am enjoying all the story and all the game content and i will say wuwa have the best story compared to other gacha game. This is the only game i played this far and best optimized as a mobile player. I will say for the least time being on the market this game is best optimized compared to other and also best in game content as well. I fell like we need to give some time its only been a month or two the game is out and its already doing 1000 times better than other game whose there for 2 or 3 years or more. Take it easy brother

I am hopeful for WuWa's future and I have heard it runs better on mobile devices. Maybe I'll try playing it on mobile sometime, either way I'll definitely be checking in on the game as the patches roll out!

for Kuro mebe. I honestly am baffled at how good a job the animators and artists do compared to the people writing the dialogue and quest pacing

so to sum it up it boils down to english quality assurance, story and performance issues on your end regarding lagging fair enough, everyone has their own preferences and limits of what they can tolerate i will say that from the beta test the devs were extremely receptive to the feedback from the beta testers and when it came to the story one of the things they noted in the dev notes is that the beta testers did not like the story having a lot of complaints about it and then later on in an interview or was it a stream or something they mentioned that they rewrote 80% of the story since this likely contributed to at least 2/3rd of the issues you mentioned since many believe the devs swung too far in the opposite direction in response to the feedback as clips of the beta test storyline showed that early on the characters were rather hostile to the rover with even chixia threatening them at gunpoint to the face too after the crownless fight contrasting how eager and hospitable everyone was in the finished product on release instead so scrips had to be rewritten and voices acting had to be re-recorded too and then there was also rumors that the devs were running out of funds between beta test and release too since they apparently laid off a bunch of employees and went all out on promotions and marketing thus had to do a quicker launch to jump start their revenue players also looked up the english VA and they're apparently from a talent agency in europe which would also explain some of the voice acting since they had to do an american accent and given the quick release along with having to redo everything they probably had to compromise on a lot since the most natural sounding english voices were the npcs who were left with their natural english accent suffice to say, while english quality assurance and story writing are very much valid reasons there is also definitely some interesting complications in the background beyond their control that left it so subpar

You don’t need a reason to quit a game. However I’m surprised you mentioned the lag/performance as an issue. You have a green ping connection and I’ve never once had that. Despite my ping always being red I’ve never noticed any lag/performance issue (using a rtx 970). the gameplay has always been amazing for me. I do agree that the load screen can take up to a minute but It never bothers me since I just check my phone during that time.

The Loading screen got shorter in 1.1 update, it only takes about a minute. And this guy has green ping and smooth fps, while mine runs around 24 fps on average with 174 ping. And this guy is complaining smh. Honestly he sounds like a hoyoshill.

Fair take, I don't care about the story that much, one of the most important things in games for me is the gameplay, and wuwa nailed it perfectly for me. I can totally understand why you quit it though, but who knows maybe the story and voice acting get better in the future, give it a try in a year or so.

Yeah I definitely plan to! I'll be checking in with the game every once in a while. I do agree that WuWa's combat system is great, I did enjoy playing it when I got to.

Are you lagging because the game installed on your computer's HDD rather than SSD? Check if its installed on Local Disk (C:) or Harddrive (D:) If you can move it to the SDD game will run smooth as butter

Same. I'm not too much into WuWa like I am with GI, but ZZZ is at the bottom of the barrel.

From what I've heard it's easy to quit if you're not well invested into the lore and world building. There's a missing connection. Combat is temporary.

get better internet. better pc. or stop using wi-fi. I've never had 1 issue with those things.

For me its prob just my laptop isn't good enough, but I can't afford to upgrade as im just a student. So this problem may affect a lot of people. It's still playable, but other games run better for me, even something like elden ring that I started playing recently

The game is made in 2024 obviously it will require higher requirements to be met . I am playing on iPhone 14 Pro and I have had no issue except the first two days of launch . Project Mugen azure promilia will require even higher specs what will you do then still complain ?

That said, I enjoy WuWa and its story and although I probably would rate it the same as you, it's not nearly as important to me, I would rate Genshin's lower for the reasons you mentioned. I got kicked out of the immersion year one when someone with one sibling who was missing presumably in danger spent years chasing tax evaders, shop frauds, late library books, etc. 🤣 I just couldn't get passed how little sense all of the MC's actions in game made based on the story. No human would ever do any of those things if they thought their ONLY family member was kidnapped by a random god or stranded in an abyss. So, to that end I can relate to the inability to get past the things that kick you out of the immersion where you can't suspend your disbelief. I know they needed to drag the story out and sell characters but the way they did it ruined the narrative completely to the point I kinda wanted the sibling to be furious when I found them, lol.

@@chibifanz Im happy for you! For me it felt like too much dialogue and convoluted information, even moreso than 1.0, and I only really enjoyed the end because of the cinematic animation. I did like the set up and lore for the story on Mt. Firmament though, it was definitely more interesting than 1.0

to be honest, your reason for quitting is quite simple yet understandable, those aspects of the game are quite important yet still lacking, yes we have great combat but if lag is there despite you have an average setup it really mess things up, I hated the english VA cause it sounds so dead so I switched to jp I really enjoy the combat and I still play it today, the only reason why I chose to play zzz rn is that there is a camera bug on wuwa and it hinders my enjoyment of the combat

@TraceguyRune i mean thats just your opinion and thats ok. I like wuwa. But i would argue that wuwa has even longer dialogue, and the writing is far less interesting and repetitive. The 1.1 mainquest felt like cutscene simulator and kept having 10min long info dumping for me. Its not like the enemies youf fight in the mainquest in wuwa are that interesting or difficult either other than the boss at the end

Majority of their player base are from SEA and most of them have low end phones and can't afford expensive phones even the latest iphone has the price tag of P36,000 here on the Philippines and the monthly salary here is P12,000. Look at mobile legends a shitty league of legends rip off knows their player base heck even a phone from 2016 still runs smoothly ar their game.

Beside story in gacha game never ending they keep spanding as long as the game a life. When it is not they simple just to end it. So i don't understand why people keep telling story this story that. This is online game there is no end in the story. Unlike offline game that you can play it in the beginning of story and then the end of story.

As well as the story/dialogue pacing and the player experience they craft from it. I think more competitive players may be more attracted still to the more challenging and exciting combat in wuwa, but some other people they may like the more stylized and chill vibes in zzz.

The story just doesnt hit from the first time, just like the first time i tried ToF. Seems rushed. Voice over is not good enough for me. Maybe not the VA, but probably on the director. And. There are a lot of game nowadays. Another must-login-daily game is not for me anymore. One is enough.

Hearing someone quitting with hardly much to do after clearing everything and having connection problems is funny. U know this game is like 5 weeks old right? its just genshin but made by Kuro w their characters and shit, literally every system reeks of genshin in this game, its just a reskin, but people like it because the animation looks good. the optimization is still dogshit, funny enough, my game started having issues AFTER all the updates and patches.
