Finally, a pro who has a thought process like mine. I’ve always wondered about doing this, but didn’t have the cash to lay out for more than one or two big units at a time. I keep the mounts flexible so I can have one on the front and one on the back or both up front or at the console. I’m glad it’s you Jacob, and I’m super stoked that you’re not sponsored anywhere because I know I’ll get the real scoop. It’ll be time for me to upgrade soon and I tend to be brand loyal, but seeing how this pans out for you may sway me in one direction or another. Lastly, a question, how do you have all the transducers hooked up? And have you noticed any interference since these units weren’t designed to work specifically with each other?

Thanks for the great video. Comparisons are a great thing as there are many great FF.. Would love to hear/see your idea on icons for waypoints. I have been thinking about a system for a long time. ie icon for season, structure type, sun, temp etc. It is one thing to have an icon, it is another to know it is basketball size rock, a winter time haunt when the sun is shining and a strong wind from the west, etc. See you in Raleigh NC in April!

Hello Jacob. Great video as usual. Can you do a video on the install? Where and how you have transducers. I have been wanting to set my boat up like this for a while now.

I have ran Lowrance my whole like switched over to Lowrance hds’s live this year and also am running Hummingbird helix gn3’s. So far hummingbirds have ran away with it for me at the console and bow!

Does the transducers interfere with each other at all?

I guess us old hands have the advantage of locating fish with experience and these little Ole video game graphs going to help us out even more over the whipper snappers

I’m waiting to see the graphic details on all three bow models - especially the mega 360 in water 5’ or less.

@@alisdairpio7952 yes they are, which is why a comparison video would be great. I'd like to know if he finds himself casting at targets more on the 360 or fishing for fish on the LiveScope. And which of the 2 lead to more bites. I was torn between the 2 and bought the LiveScope 🤷‍♂️

I have the mega 360 and also a livescope with the 16 in screen the only reason I have the 360 is to find the cover that the fish are on and once I find that I never take my eyes off of the livescope. If I had to choose to only have one I would choose the livescope all day long.

Live scope is a game changer and your right, you will get caught up on getting them to bite.

Have seen some wicked Topwater footage on the live score which I’m sure you have as well. May come in handy for frogging our buzz bait fish and seeing them follow our hang back, helping to dial in the right retrieve 👌🏾

What is your battery setup on your boat?

Any idea how he got his trolling motor cable oriented the way it is? I have the same setup with two large depth finders in the center of the boat and the cable hangs up when I put the trolling motor in and out of the water. Looks as though his cable has been adjusted so that it's sticks straight up in the air and eliminate this problem.

And we'll call it "the mutt setup" little bit of everything. Lol

I fished with a gentleman running a live scope. He would callout his bites seconds before they hit. He never said "here we go" without setting the hook soon after. I want one SO BAD!

That slim tab on top and bottom of the Garmin unit should have cane with clip on tabs to give that entire front screen a flush clean look. The way it sits right now without those tabs clipped on is for flush mounting

JW, I have a question. I've been bass fishing for at least 40 years now. I came up in South Florida where deep lakes where non-existent. I crush em up shallow between froggin, flippin, etc. The problem I'm having is I moved to Northern Florida and it's lake central. I can beat the banks and catch fish, but I just experienced my first winter and the fishing is tough due to they went deep and I'm weak in this game. Now I've always owned a bass boat but I've basically never used a fish finder on them because I didn't have to. What can you suggest I purchase(electronics) for the boat to make me more effective for deep water applications? Any input would be awesome. Thanks

Are you using only the ultrex universal transducer up front for both the Humminbird and the Lowrance?

Do you get any interference between all those?

Two questions: Are you running all three units off the same battery? Where are the three tranducers located? Love your channel!

Hey Jason - How do you deal with the interference issue with all those transducers. Interference is the reason I want to change up my system to reduce the number of required transducer.

Mike Daley I read on a forum that it’s a major hassle removing the Solix where as the Helix is a single snap on plug in.

Its all Livescope, Lowrance livesight just isnt near the tech.

I am trying to understand if I can use my Garmin Livescope and the Mega 360 at the same time? Do you know if they will interfear with each other? How would you mount them both? Thanks!

They will a bit but if you configure the frequencies right they work in unison

The Humminbird 360 at 1175 kilohertz and the Garmin Panoptics at 1100 kilohertz on an Ultrex targeting fish in shallow water (50' or less) will be using similar frequencies so how do I avoid a conflict?

What a guy needs is two boats to use at the same time, one to carry 87 fishing rods and the other to carry 21 different sonars, tie the boats together then flip a coin to decide which boat to stand in. No pun intended guy's it's just crazy.

How much power are all those electronics putting out... all those batteries have to be weighing down the boat lol

I would actually start watching fishing tournaments if and only if they'd have a section of the competition reserved for where the competitors smash their fish finders that failed "when it really matters".

5:55 I did this after I got my Livescope. I spent way too much time on crappie that wouldn't bite. I discovered that I was better off just locating the fish and then fishing that area without watching the screen so much. I'm still developing my skills with it though.

How come nobody’s talking about Furuno Fish Finders? They’re supposed to be one of the, if not THE best.

Don't discount the live scope in shallow water, I have seen other pros catch majority of there fish off it in a tournament.

Find a crappie guy that is tournament serious and let him show you how to use that livescope setup.

I spend many hours with all of them doing installs and training but on my personal boat I have two Solix on the console for imaging and one small helix for maps. Up front I have Helix 12 and Mega 360 with Livescope. Livescope isn't the tool for general bass fishing as the 360 (both models) are much more useful for fishing weed edges, creek channels, individual stumps, and anything that needs to be presented to without having to scan. My livescope is for winter crappie fishing when, like you, I am looking for individual fish. My comment comes from generally knowing, and working with, some very serious tournament guys in all sports. It's safe to say that crappie tournament fisherman know more about the livescope than any of them because that is the main tool they use now.
