I was only getting Cloud Retainer as a Jean sidegrade. I played her for about 15 minutes before deciding to get her C1, I have her at C2 now. I can't see myself removing her from my overworld team ever. I stack Movement speed bonus with C2 Jean, Anemo Resonance, Lost Prayer, and Dehya.

Yeah I'm using C6Jean-Yelan-LostPrayerWanderer- Dehya/Rosaria as my Overworld, I like that as it's actually a good Wanderer team. I swap Jean with Xianyun sometimes when the world have more vertical exploration to go through. I'm a tad tempted to roll for Chiori so I can get the fastest exploration team possible in the game tho.

I still dont understand how even after three years mihoyo didnt noticed how better abyss would be if they just added random battle songs from the regions we have. man, I would be hyped af with sumeru battle music dropping on a random part of my abyss runs lol

Man I'd love it if Genshin have changing stages. So the environment actually affect the enemies hits and evasion. Why they intend to never go and improve what they have on 1.0 is beyond me

This is pretty nice to see. Its nice to see Fischl can be used, I had the silly idea of making a Xianyun+Fischl+Sara team for the bird women team.

Worth mentioning: w/o c2 Furina team is to “healthy” for fast fanfare generation.

Xianyun is probably one of my favorite characters now. She's great for my Hu Tao and Navia team and she's good as a main dps as well. I have 2 builds for her a support one and a dps build. I recently completed abyss with her and C2 Furina, C3 Faruzan and a C4 Jean and enjoyed it so much that i pulled her C1 and got C4 Faruzan in the process (still no C6 unfortunately)lol. I would go for her C2 if i could but i only have 23 pulls left and im saving them for Arlecchino and Clorinde lol.

Yeah Im in the same boat lol, she has great versatility for her own playstyle and enables new fun ways to play other units. Her biggest issue is reliance on Furina or C6 Bennett but as a longer term player thats not a problem for me

I like how when she is in her plunge attack damage window she's also healing the rest of the team. Even if she's just sub-dps it feels like you're not waiting for anything.

honestly same I got her at c1 and got c6 faruzan finally so I made her a dps and it’s so much fun! definitely think I’ll be going for her c2 atp before her banner ends

Haha yeah Ive enjoyed her as a DPS so much that shes probably staying on a DPS build for a while for me.

I pulled a C1 XY on the way to C5 Gaming (+1 for LR lfg!) but only got my Faruzan up to C4 (I started at C0 like you) Her potential to mdps or create a vast number of fun teams is tempting me to pull for Faruzan's last 2 cons.... try and get them before C2 XY uses up my guaranteed

really like the character so i decide to whale for her banner using all *2 pack i have left this reset, got her c3 and im not disappointed using her as a dps

Xianyun is so fun in overworld I immediately decided to go DPS too, just to have her as a complete package. You don't miss out on that much healing anyway. I use DP set, tho I forget to charge attack a bit too often. My Faruzan is C5 also, i keep getting Noelle x.x I'm gonna keep pulling until i get her C6 since I wanted it anyway. Fun thing is that if you want almost any other character in the game to be the DPS, you can swap Faruzan for him and get great results too. The core of this team is just so good. My Furina is c0, maybe i can get some cons on her rerun.

I mostly wanted them for overall smoothness. Dmg bonus kicking in at full power earlier and with less fuss about who's the healer and how fast he exactly restores hp. At c2 she's not that much stronger, but definitely more mindless. I guess it applies until c6 tho

I got a question would shatter team work on her using furina and layla?

If you’re near hard pity then her C2 is worth it for double damage amount other boosts, kagura is just stats stick cause her skill do plunging damage when she dives so you can’t trigger it even ones.

Kaguras jsnt a generic stat stick, the passive does give the dmg bonus by doing EEE (each E use counts as using a skill for kaguras). It isnt as good as I think I mentioned since the skill dmg% doesnt do anything, but I like it as a no nonsense weapon on her (Widsith will give higher numbers but I dislike the variance in what you see with the buff RNG and downtime) Oh, and I wont be able to get to pity again, and I am just saving my guarantee.

I pulled her to play Hu Xiao. C6 Faruzan and 2 constellations later, I'm now playing Xiao-yun. Lost Prayer, 2pc/2pc ATK%, ATK/Anemo/Crit, ~2500 Atk : ~90 : ~150

I pulled c1 Xianyun, and only got c5 faruzan. I did get c6 Gaming though. I'm still main dps-ing Xianyun. I love how she plays so much. I'm running 4pc desert pavilion and lost prayer on her and pretty much nothing stands a chance against me.

Thing is, you really want to play Furina with Cloud Retainer (in general kinda, but especially for DPS Cloud), and therefore for DPS Cloud its basically going to either be MH or Vermillion. I suspect Vermillion may actually be slightly better than MH (not done calcs though), but either of the sets should be better than Desert Pavillion, and I think doing a CA on Cloud would be very awkward in general and eat up time that couldve been spent getting one more plunge out. If you already have a full set already farmed it may be a competent option to test out, I just dont think it makes sense to farm it for this case compared to MH which is useful on anyone (with Furina lol)

Is it better to use double attack, 2pc anemo 2pc attack, or 4pc marrechausse hunter set for DPS Hypercarry Xianyun? Im currently using double attack and I'm wondering if I should grind for marrechausse instead? (I have furina)

MH is kinda worth farming a lot of anyways imo (literally any on field unit likely wants it as their best set when paired with Furina), so Id aim for it. But if she feels fine for you on 2pc combos because you have good options for it then it may not be worthwhile to farm. The relative of MH is much higher when you dont have very high CV available on other artifacts though

Silly question but does sacrafical fragments work on her to reduce her skill cooldown too? At c0 I want her to be able to be able to use her skill as much as possible.

Ive not tested it, but theres no reason it shouldn’t work. CD starts as soon as you first press E so it should have multiple chances to reset too. Bigger issue is the lack of relevance of EM on Xianyun, so other than the CD reset the weapon is bad option for her. Like Eye of Perception may actually be better lol

i wasn't expecting to have so much fun playing her.... same as other people here, which is very nice to see...i pulled for a constellation for the second time in three years. number one is Kazuha 🤣who else would it be....BUT he is not in my every day favourite team as she will be for a loooooong time

this is the team that i want to use but my faruzan is just C4... and low lvl , idk if she is worth lvling not being C6..

I think her 9000 limit is only exist because of this team with Bennet. I try Bennet in Abyss on first half, but I think the Layla variant was much more comfy agains the Dendro Balls though Bennet have crazy synergy with on-field Xianyun. Basicly she triple his buff, because he convert 200% of her attack into bonus damage.

Reaching 4500 on her was probably intended with her C2 (gives 20% atk), signature weapon, and external atk buffs going on (noblesse and what not), but yeah overall her ability to abuse Bennetts buff is what makes her a competent DPS

@@Solunerra Yeah I agree. I use DPS Xianyun mostly, got her yesterday, and even just with Widsith if I got the attack buff from it I have more then 3000 attack without any buff. It is why I though with her signature and Bennet reachin 9000 is not even a pipe dream.

I use tankfei, 1. I dont have Furina, 2. Mona does more dps buff but clunky af, 3. Tankfei gives good shield ttds and pyro resonance

@@eurekadiaz3771 Oh you mean double anemo double pyro? It should be pretty decent team even without Furina and if you can manage energy with yanfei having TTDS in the team is really nice, I guess though yanfei eat into Bennet up-time a little bit with TTDS.

Gonna try that one day But The rotation should be Furina cause burst duración is 18s Bennett cause burst is 15 s Faruzan cause burst is 12s And last XinYan? Right? I don't remember the times that well

Bennett's burst has a duration of 12 seconds with a cooldown of 15, so I'm guessing you had those numbers confused. Also Faruzan C2 makes her burst duration 18 seconds. So having Bennett's burst at the end of the rotation is the best idea.

Furina/Faruzan duration is the same, so they are pretty interchangeable for order, but yeah I imagine thats the best rotation most of the time outside of the fact that Im trying to trigger Freedom Sworn on Bennett (requires him to trigger two reactions)

Faruzan’s buff and res shred applies for for 4s for each burst hits, so her buff is around 22s for c2+, so it’s better to faruzan q before Furina, unless you have vv on faruzan of course

I have C5 Faruzan and in my experience Xianyun mitigates a lot of her energy issues just by existing so I feel more comfortable either forgetting to swap to Favonius or using something like Elegy so I don't think C6 Faruzan is a requirement.

Yeah I dont remember if I included it in the video, but in the recording at least I ended up mentioning that the team may be strong enough that you dont really need C6 Faruzan (its just really nice to have)

It's funny using her in the Mondstadt cryo domain, it's easy to get attacked mid-jump and get launched into the air. Pretty sure it's actually possible to fall out of the arena this way lol

@@norsyfna He said it in his first impressions video. He made her talents 1-1-8 and then said her personal damage was garbage. I like Zajef, but man was he wrong on this one. He spent the whole video talking about how amazing Hu Tao was and barely discussed Xianyun herself.

It's fun to use her as dps tbh. she is strong. I find it much comfortable to use zhongli, faruzan, furina. I really hate circle impact bennet

My summons for xianyun were wild. I got a C6 gaming I didnt even want yet ended up with only C5 faruzan. F you game! On the flip side, I got my first dehya con (the standard 5 star I wanted most) and another chevreuse con of all things! (the 4 star I want most) I legit dont know how to feel! I did also get my xianyun to C1 and Im so glad I left chenyu vale until I leveled her. She's so much fun as a overworld character, its hard to imagine Id have enjoyed exploring the zone as much with any other character. I played dps xianyun with kazuha, bennett and dehya for the last few days. When I eventually get faruzan C6 I'm definitely swapping her in.

faruzan c6 is the important role for her, im c0 furina, bennet , make her hit 148k, C0, talent 9.. and to be honest, I didnt use support artifacts with extra buff in bennet and faruzan, so you could imagine if u use proper support built with extra buff.. 200k is possible for C0 flamingo

Ive pulled for her so much and i barely even have c1 gaming, just faruzan after noelle dupe after dupe its infuriating 😭 like how much do i gotta spend for christs sake

For DPS Cloud Retainer? You can absolutely get away without Bennett. Losing Furina may be a bit rough because of how higher Furinas synergy with her is. I wouldnt want to go without either of them, personally. Furina, Faruzan, and Bennett are basically the main options for buffing cloud retainer meaningfully enough to DPS, but you can always just rebalance the team a bit more around other off field dmg dealers, and cloud retainer can be an on fielder enabler for them.

You’re wrong the the bennett xianyun faruzan and furina team is super versatile. You build both dps xianyun and dps bennett with mistsplitter and on wenut you just use your c6 plunging bennett

That’s fair, I hasn’t considered you have the ability to do both DPS Benny and DPS Cloud Retainer. But for DPS Cloud herself the team definitely has circle impact problems (there were a number of instances of her flying down on her skill and hitting outside of Bennetts circle).

​@@Solunerra I see u doing this mistake not the first time so there must be a clarification! Bennett's buff(and infusion) lasts 2 seconds after you left the field. What this mean 1. You don't lose dmg flying out of bennet circle 2. Actually his buff lasts not 12 seconds, but 14 3. Bennet best boy!

I explained it in the video I believe, CD reduction to get two skills per rotation consistently by triggering electro charged through swirls. Also sometimes lets you get a third skill in before Xianyuns buff ends

its most likely recommended because you can stack more crit dmg since marechausse gives 36% crit rate if the unit can lower their hp consistently or you have furina on the team. since shes anemo i personally would go for wanderers set (don't know the name) but that 36% crit rate is for sure very good on anyone really

Any on fielder pretty much wants MH if they are paired with Furina, not because of the 2pc but because of the 4pc bonus giving a bunch of free crit. This allows for easy balancing of stats at a baseline (because crit is the rarest substats) by nature of giving so much freely from the bonus, and also enables much higher crit ratios that would otherwise be unfeasible or impossible to achieve. Interestingly, because of how much Cloud double dips on atk for DPSing her, I think her best set in the Fischl team especially might actually be Vermillion (Xiaos artifacts) since she doesnt have the attack from Bennett and that set gives a LOT of atk%. But its not to a degree worth farming for, and Ive not actually done calcs to check it compared to MH. Its just my intuition that it may technically be better.

Faruzan is literally the most useless c6 I have on my account because I don't have any anemo DPS (I'm not saying she's bad, it's just I have no one to buff with her kit)
