Hey, I'm monetized and I need to tell you something important before it's too late. If you delete those videos that helped you get up to where you needed to be views-wise, you will have to start fro scratch with a ton of new videos. You will get burned out before you even get where you wanted to be. Also, shorts viewers don't have a tendency to translate to long form viewers unless you are posting tutorials, or are really just that funny. It's like having a severely divided audience that can and will affect your viewer retention, which will give the affect that the algorithm has stopped caring, but it's really just because your stuff didn't perform well so it isn't being recommended to anyone. Trust me.

Dude just keep doing what you're doing and upload long form at the same time. If you kept getting 500k a month and that increased by 5% or less averaged out, you'd be monetized in 1.5 years about or less.

My shorts dont have a single view, i spend around 20-30 minutes to edit one. Did you start getting views right from the beginning? And why cant you monetize the channel?

No, I didn’t start getting views right from the beginning, it took me around 10 shorts so i could reach some good amount of views. I can’t monetize this channel cuz of the repetitive content and this channel doesn’t have 10 million views on short videos.

Shorts are the best way to start a ytb Channel. I have 600 subs and I get an average of 2k views per short. It never exceeds 10k tho since my niche is small. In my analytics every new short I post gets me like 5 new subs. If you're thinking about starting a ytb channel the best time is right now.

It’s totally okay, especially if you’re channel is brand new. Just try not to upload lots of videos per day and stay consistent. Also do not forget to use good script, so your viewers won’t skip your video right at the beginning. Good luck!
