Hey man, I love these videos. It shows real life scenarios for the use of the device, instead of benchmarks and specs.

I never put my portable game consoles in my pocket even as a kid. I always put em inside a storage case and then in my little bag. That said, this Rg556 seems appealing to me if I can play Genji, Onimusha, Okami, Shinobido, The Warriors, FF12 in it flawlessly. These are my favorite games for the PS2

It's some part hardware and some part limitations of the emulators, even on a powerful gaming pc they can struggle to run some Xbox 360 games at 60fps. ​@@sonumalik..

I have the 556 but this makes me want to play toca for the tracks on PC even if emulated 😄 I had the first 2 on playstation. I love the 556 for playing up to Dreamcast on a big oled and a decent price. Nes/SNES/psx also. It's good that you point out it's shortcomings and I think that racing games are some of the hardest to emulate due to rendering fast moving 3d environments. But I'm glad there's a less premium priced handheld with an oled screen for enjoying older titles.. without resorting to those 3.5" LCDs which are just too small for big hands and to soak everything in.

Great take buddy. I think you're right about the racing games being some of the most difficult. I do truly love the RG556, it does so many things right! I guess we're just still waiting for that perfect mid range PS2 emulation. I think going for the PSP version of TOCA Race driver might be the best bet!

I want to get one but I wonder if I can play the old PSP Dragon Ball games and the 3DS Dragon Ball games

There are some great Dreamcast racing games that will run just fine, including F355 Challenge, Le Mans 24hr, and MSR.

I can play almost all PS2 games with Redmi Note 12 Turbo 26gb ram 1Tb rom using xbox360 controller and $4 mobile phone holder. Not pocket friendly but smooth gaming

​@@MajlisIlmuTamanSyurga How can you use xbox 360 controllers on Android? Those are 2.4Ghz, no Bluetooth whatsoever. Even for playing on PC you need a special dongle receiver.

I play video games to get excited about watching a race. It didn't run PS2 games very well but I was surprised it couldn't run fortnite. The switch sized console doesn't fit well in my pocket but it does fit well on top of the trash in my car.

@@DovahkiinChild get the Cube. I’m having a blast with this one. I don’t even use my 556. It’s crazy because I thought I would use it all the time but it’s the cube for me. And I like using the Anbernic rg35xxsp.

You should play Race Driver 2006 on PSP instead. Pretty much whenever there is an option to play a PSP version of a PS2 game it is going to run better.

People really look past great consoles cause they’re not made by any media bigwig. If you look past the licensed Consoles you could actually find amazing stuff Like the playmate and the analog pocket.

Playdate is a great console and totally unique, just really overpriced to get it out of the US. Analog Pocket, I'm personally not a big fan of. I think many much cheaper retro emulation devices do pretty much the same thing at a fraction of the price with a lot less faff.

I agree with you on that although there are still a lot you’re missing out on if you just go the xbox/nintendo/playstation/sega route without ever diverging from it.

@@YUNG-fr1kg Ok. You get what you pay for that all I have to say. The RG556 cost $230 after shipping The ODIN 2 base 330.00. Not much of a difference. I’m sure if you’re into these handhelds you spending that money! This is a life style. One of the coolest hobbies to have!
