Can you answer a single question: does this DLC give a new Mending Rune for a new ending to the main game? No details, can just be yes or no.

FS is one of the rare studios that understands the benefits of under-promising and then over-delivering, as well as having the confidence to develope the game and release it when its truly ready. FS with Miyazaki in control is a dream come true for those who love their design philosophy.

Making the "mini sequel" to Elden Ring as a big, and relatively expensive, DLC is a pretty good idea. The devs can reuse the same engine as is, while concentrating on just making new content. Also, who's ready for 18 inches of Messmer?/

60 mind sounds insane lol, I can't bring myself to go over 30 even with pure int/faith builds I'm gonna go in with a dex build of some sort as I've played every souls game with a dex build for my first playthrough, will probably start out with either a katana, a twinblade or a curved sword build and then switch to a nice new dex weapon I get from the DLC bosses

I've just finished Lies of Pi. A masterpiece of it's own. I will take 1 week break and then I will proceed to enter the Shadow realm. I fucking love the grind in these games because you really feel satisfaction after finishing a level and the whole world is like a living painting with dark and fantastic tones. It also shapes our character into a better one.

I started a new game plus like a year ago and just didn’t play. So now I have to play through most of the story so I can get to the dlc. But I’m having a blast again! And it’s building so much hype to finally reach the dlc.

how early can you access the Dryleaf Arts?

I dont know if you will see this, but I was wondering if you found any additional larval tears in the dlc area, or if the only ones we get are from the base game.

There are a few in the DLC that I found

In a way, they converged the legacy dungeons and overworld of the original game into something that can't even be discerned between the two.

I wonder if that new teleportation sorcery we’ll be key to getting somewhere

this dlc is kicking my ass! i won’t spoil anything but some of theee bosses have taken me straight hours of nothing but attempts. i’m ng+ smth like 5 and level about 200 and im still having a great time

10 is the number of remembrance bosses (main bosses). There's around 40 or so if you include the mini bosses.

This should be the first time a dlc gets game of the year, especially when quality has been pretty horrible with many games

I just hope the combat in the DLC has more depth to it than dodge-roll spam, attack, repeat.

I've never played dark souls other than the 1st one about 12 years ago when I was 14 and gave up because I found it too hard. now i have a lot more patience loved elden ring currently doing a sorcerer playthrough now but thinking I will get this expansion and give it a good damn go at completing it. About 3-4 hrs in, I love the world and the environments. The bosses are fantastic, but can we please admit the nerfing of our stats over all is... cheap. It just seems to force you to collect "special items" to have your power and defense given back to you. Hurts the gameplay for me, but again, I'm only 3-4 hours in dlc. Love the videos dude keep up the good work

It forces you to explore the world. That aspect may not be for everybody, so I get why some find that annoying. Just like the main game, sometimes you just have to leave, explore, get stronger, and come back later. With this new system in the DLC, the same thing applies, but you can't just go off and farm runes to out level a boss. I personally love it, but I get why others don't. Thank you for watching the videos

I like the idea that you have to collect tree fragments again for a new tree. Hate that Bosses are so combo unbalanced.

scadufragments dont help squat. these bosses have absurd combos and grabs and low poise, learning their movesets is a far better advice.

@@Kizu31 ok you should be fine then. I haven't played the game, but they have a system in place for people worried about being overpowered. If you're really worried, just don't activate them and the expansion will be absolute hell

No no, Miyazaki was right, its about the size of Limgrave - and as tall as Limgrave is wide 😂 Fr the levels are soooooo tall/deep, I had a couple Siofra River elevator moments, had to stop and chuckle at how they make us think "ok now, can't get higher than that... welp, wrong again"

So happy to hear that it's harder. My only critique of ER was it was noticably easier than previous Souls games (exploration not bosses). Plus I'll be playing on a NG+1 character so it'll probably be even harder on NG+. I'm on level 170 in NG+1, what do you think about that? Should I farm more levels?

7:10 By the way, that file size isn't accurate. That file size is installing everything included in the hub app, which includes Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Warzone and all relevant DLC. The reason they did it like this is so that you don't have to waste disc space if you have multiple CoD games, since they share a lot of assets. For example, MWIII will have a larger install size if you don't already have MWII installed, and vice versa. Or at least that's how I understand It, I don't actually own any of these games.

Yes that file size is not an accurate representation of the whole situation. It'll be much smaller if you have only the BO6. For example current MW3 is only 32GB in size, and Warzone is 22GB in size on Steam. The Whole COD file size in disk is currently 72.89GB for me.

Honestly, i wouldn't mind a few repeated bosses, as I've never REALLY cared about re-skins in the base game (Except for Godefroy and Astel, but those were exceptions to prove the rule)

@Mcdinkleman alright buddy take your time, you're quite a bit from where the DLC would start. Just make sure to stay aggressive with the red wolf of radagon as you'll find it does have a relatively small health pool. As long as you can get hits in while paying attention to when you're in danger, you'll get past it in no time. Keep it up through liurnia!!

🚨 DLC spoilers ahead🚨** my thoughts after beating this AMAZING DLC; first of all it's an awesome surreal experience as far as dlc's go. ✨ On paper it's perfect. Don't get me wrong; however I have to admit there's so many lore inconsistencies, community-wise & in game found description-wise that I have to get off my chest... They could have added more answers to Ranni;a small legacy dungeon/land for her. As well more to Melina, such as her Frenzied flame ending anger if one chose that path;again a small land for her; etc. An area explaining Who or what was the greater will/Gods. But those could be forgiven. The main one arguably is I feel like they robbed us of Godwyn most of all. I feel as though there's so much they could have exchanged instead of some barren lands we got in the dlc and some awesome yet pointless side bosses,or just more added; In Fia's quest at the end there are so many hints that Godwyn is going to be revived somehow and spread across there are lore descriptions of his deathblight infection spreading across the lands. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the DLC, I just think it makes no sense they didn't even mention Godwyn in any true meaningful way. They put in Messmer out of nowhere and now suddenly he's canon, so obviously they could of put in Godwyn somehow. They revived a dead rotted Radahn and yet no Godwyn. While both are amazing bosses, it's ridiculous they had the resources to revive Godwyn and make it canon. They just didn't. I just think that's so odd. In the end it just feels so abrupt,and while it's amazing they added more to Miquella,in a way it revolves too much around him. There's so much more they could have done here. Hate or agree with these words all one wants,I'm just making an observation as a loving Elden Ring Fan. 🙏😊

And that's why I don't like the term "DLC" for what are supposed to be expansions. To me DLC is something like skins or a single mission not what in some cases would be a full fledged game.

5000 plus hours spent on the original game. Going to be maidenless again for a long while.
