If we're saying "Go Fest" as a group of events then yes they are the best events every year (especially since Go Tour has been significantly nerfed from the Hoenn Tour onwards, which arguably used to be better than Go Fest in its first 2 iterations). The click bait comes when every creator says This is THE best event ever for each specific Go Fest and say the same thing for every Go Fest EVERY year 😂

This was my first in person PoGo fest, and I had seen your videos about you coming to Madrid and I told my partner that we might spot you. I was not prepared for the insane amount of people playing at the park and all over the city. Everywhere you looked there was people playing! So of course we didn't spot you or PokeMama 😂 This was really quite the experience for us and we're looking forward to next year! I hope they pick a city that is slightly more forgiving in the summer time.

I said the same, most large EU cities are super safe, I've never felt unsafe in Spain/France/Germany/Italy/Holland etc... i know Canada is pretty solid but their neighbours to the south are alot less safe

Question! I went to Go Fest last year and I spent about half of my time in the park working to complete collection challenges. In retrospect I feel like that was a waste of valuable time, am I wrong?

Yes, you should be able to complete all the collection challenges in a hour, and would find 2 biomes to focus heavily in so that spawns can, well, respawn by the time you walk around one time.

I will say it is a struggle not being able to go to these in person events and only being able to participate in the global event because there are SO MANY pokemon in the raids that you have to try to get that were available to the people that went to the in person go fest events so you're basically stuck having to try to do all those raids in that one weekend, and from my experience the shiny rates at the in person events are SO much better than the global. I think last year I went a whole hour without seeing a single shiny pokemon and having only 8 hours with not that great of odds doesnt help for someone who focuses on shiny hunting. It is nice having a lot of wild pokemon to check but when the list is long and you know the odds are not good it kind of kills your determination to try. I'm hoping that since we have to pay for the shiny boost this year since it only comes with the ticket that means it will be a good boost but I'm waiting to see how it pans out for the first half of the world when it starts to see what the consensus is.

Imma get some Fusion Energy cuz i already have 60 Necrozma and cosmog candy all i need is 1,000 Solar and Lunar energy 😊 Hoping to see some Pokemon Go players in Barcelona in Spain in July 13 and 14 ! (I will be more active during the 14 july)

i also went to go fest madrid for me i got the most shiny s with the city experience i got a 96% shiny necrozma with the madrid catch card

I was in Madrid for all three days and caught 141 shiny pokemon

Tours are the best All players at least have chances of catching free legendaries in the wild as well play like the rest while for go fest only if you spend money can you catch the mythicals being released

The whole eggs system in this game has easily grown to be my most hated add-on to this game. We can’t delete any, we can’t trade them, we don’t have a whole lot of storage so most of the time it’s just filled up with junk, the hatches are always god awful, and any time there’s an event that centers around hatching eggs; the bonuses and rewards are always so underwhelming.

I long to travel overseas to play Go Fest😢 it will happen just need to save up a bit and work towards making this a goal by saving small 🤞

I have been in Madrid all three days and got 3 raid shinies in like 140 raids. That was awful. But Madrid itself was amazing :) 7* Event eggs was instantly a 0 star for me because it just hinders me in indefinitely spinning stops without risking to get non-event eggs. Otherwise, I go with your ratings. Pretty accurate! Great video :)

I think GoFest is just hype now. With so many events happening all year long now, what exactly is so different with GoFest? More chances at shinies? What I would appreciate is for the core pillars of Go to just be better and flagship events just being frosting on top of a cake. An enhancement to a game that;s struggling to be fun again.

If i lived there than I’d definitely go but travelling for it isn’t worth it imo

I love when KZreadrs have amazing luck 360 days of the year well beyond the regular player, then have "average" luck like the rest of us for Go Fest and question if the event was good.

for me it was a click bait actually, had 4 escaped necrozmas (all golden razz berry and excellent throws) that means 4 tickets wasted, and i had 0 shiny necrozma, 0 hundo. however, niantic shown some pities letting me catching 2 shundos with the pogo++, shundo geodude and lillip (i were not even excited coz they were quite useless for pve)

i think the problem is those raids happening at all, like, nodoby is gonna want to do them, they should've disabled them from appearing. i saw videos from sendai and dont really recall if lower tier raids where spawning there, so its weird to see them on this time
