All though you are right ww2 snipers were sometimes deployed more up front to disrupt the chain of command, they would take higher ranking officers out and take defensive positions to disrupt the patrols of opponents.

When I play sniper I usually do recon relay garrison positions destroy op and garrisons if possible then spot incoming armor on its way to the objective. Spotter is great to play as just due to the fact I can place garrisons behind enemy lines creating a flank for friendly squads. I wished they would do more of this on console games by maybe adding sqaud to the mix because that shit goes crazy

I tried something new playing sniper yesterday. I blended in with a friendly squad and helped clean out a path for their push to flank behind the final point(usually go far away from friendlies) Sl also helped cover me while I took down garries while my spotter was relaying info and marking targets. It was beautiful!

What really does my head in with hell let loose is when you are in a recon squad and your spotter leaves, then a new one joins and kicks you out to make room for a friend. Total BS. They need to patch this so someone joining can't kick you when you are in first.

I just waited for someone to take the spotter role then I joined as a sniper !

I don't know if you edited out the pings, but I personally use them as a sniper so you can see the distance and it makes aiming a lot easier. Anyways great video man!👍

You are a pain in the ass for the enemy teams even when your not in favor ( behind the box and in the trenches killstreak was legit nice)

Killing the enemy accomplishes little for your team, you must mark and take out spawns

You did way too much shooting and not enough spawn killing. That is the real role of sniper in this game. Find the enemy, track them to their spawns, and clear them. If you cannot clear them, mark them for infantry and tanks to deal with.

No wonder that your team was defeated. Neither Garrisons nor OP´s were set up on the entire map. Your SL´ looked for a nice K/D ratio. That is for sure not relevant. SL‘s only objective: Garrisons and OP‘s.

Dislike: you completely ruined a perfect spot for real spotters who know the actual mechanics of being a spotter. Taking out enemy nodes, artillery and moving around in enemy territory taking out garrisons. But I guess that would be to boring to post on KZread..
