@@ensoniq2klol right. It’d be cool to play like that for people, but I can’t go a couple days without my own bed. Nvm people touring for weeks or months.

I would like to get big enough in a band to where we can tour, but after watching some POV videos from other bands and artists it seems like an extremely tiring non-stop work career to get into. Plus, I'm not quite sure how I feel about millions of people knowing all the basic things about me. Hate when random people approach me in public and want to have a conversation. I'm not a big conversationalist

I didn't know you're 5 years sober! What a great feat! I'm about 140 days in. I like how it all settles in and you discover that you actually didn't need all of that stuff. Great video, love the first person perspective. You're so humble 😊

Im like 7 years clean from IV use, and I miss it more now than I did then. Lots of life circumstances. You wouldnt think that'd be the case but it is for me.

@@nwerd7584hey, congrats on your 7 years. I know that the urge doesn't go away completely, just gets quieter. You know better to shut it down instantly. Proud of you man, keep going strong - you can do it.
I can’t believe how calm the crowd is overall to what I have seen
5yrs. Keep it up bro 💪🏿
Ngl touring seems exhausting

I got to tell you from personal experience, touring as a pain! Especially when you are your own road crew and don't have anybody to help you pack and move everything! LOL Exhausting for sure, but SOOO worth it!

Even in town, venue to venue is tiring. It's basically an 8 hour shift after you add in load from home, set up, soundcheck, play time, tear down, load up and unload at home again. You start at 7 and end around 3....then you can't get to sleep until 4. lol. Fun stuff.

The guy singing in heavy Austrian accent totally killed me :-D didn't expect a metal song to start like that. Thanks for sharing!
Man what a very cool gig! The fact that you had a freaking castle as a backstage is incredible. You're living the dream BERNTH. So glad I subbed to you so many years ago when you were just putting out instructional videos in your home studio. I'm living vicariously through you! Keep it up! |m|
Congratulations on 5 years sober again, BERNTH

Thanjs for taking us along. I think the solo served the song perfectly 😊
The most impressive thing here is patience, consistency and discipline hidden behind the scenes
Overall awesome vid! With great use of the fun subtitled commentary, I might add. Keep it the great playing/content creation!
This venue looks absolutely awesome. Congrats on a seccessful concert
Wow... What a incredible journey, enjoyed the utter most . Thanks for sharing.
I can relate. I was called a "snob" or "antisocial" for not partying after gigs. Kinda surprising, because I thought I was there to play guitar and entertain. Then I had to listen to shmucks complain that they haven't got any money left while my pockets are full. And that too caused resentment...like I was somehow making more.

Loving the insight into how performing on stage works. I've only done it once, but with violin and it was the experience, but I was anxious back then. now this is helpful for when I return to stages again but with an electric guitar. thanks for this as it's very helful.
loved the POV! very Matt Horn inspired video i have ever seen with Go Pro perspective but with guitar. we want more like this, man!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Awsome dude, i've learned so much from you ! i still got your Shred cup somewhere,, as much i love partying it is in my way to develope an awsome tactic on the guitar like you. i am 3 months sober now so i can hopefully 1 day play live like you !
Wow, that was amazing! Thank you for sharing
such a cool idea for a video
It really sucks that I can't come and see you live, you seem awesome on stage :)
Most impressive part was the "5 Years sober", awesome job! xD
Hi, Bernth ! This is a great video. I was a musician in the early1970's and things changed quite a bit. You're doing great and all the talk about the "young" generation, we were young too and they told the same Sh.t about us !
Very awesome, youtube algorithm delivered today. Thanks to the video creator for epic insights 👍
thats gotta be the nicest bus ive ever seen!
Congratulations on being sober. Same here going on 3 years now back with ny wife and kids feels amazing. Hope yall come to USA and play some time
Awesome video!you inspired me to pick my 2402 up and play it,today!Just for the sake of knowledge:can I ask you how the roasted maple neck reacts to all these climate conditions while on the road?how does it keep up with all the wheater changes?do you need to adjust the truss rod frequently?
A lot of hard work goes into this. Trust me it isn't always living the dream. More bleeding for your art.
dude, more vlogs like this -im also playing on stage
GZ 5 years!!!
Nice video!!! Fractal audio Ax8 on the floor?😊
The whole experience looks like a PITA so for the first time ever you made me glad I'm a crappy guitar player no one wants to hear! Fantastic playing as always, TY Bernth!
Congrats on 5 years sober man. Impressive and very hard to do. Happy for ya.
I bought a cheap Ibanez Gio for playing outside this summer. It was only $200 but actually plays pretty decently, but now I feel bad about using it to practice outside... What do you guys think? IS that an OK thing to do to a $200 Gio? What is the max temperature and humidity range that such an instrument deserves to be tortured with?

It's poly finish so it shouldn't crack. Try not to get the wood soaked that could warp it, maybe consider finishing the fretboard if you are going to be in the rain a lot and making the electronics cavity more water proof, some rubber around the pickguard should do it. Don't leave it out in the direct sun for too long. And dry it after it gets wet. Should be fine.
Sleeping after a good show is not an easy thing. Cool vid.
Man, I LOVE these behind-the-scenes vids. What a long build up, waiting to go on stage. I suppose having your laptop and doing some work while waiting is a good distraction. Back in the day, that time was used to consume....stuff. 🫣 Nowadays, musicians have so many irons in the fire, there isn't time to party and get into trouble...not like there used to be!
Congrats on the 5 years man
Geniales Video!
