SUB273 is a reference to Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. I guess the name refers to the fact that zero degrees Kelvin (or "absolute zero") is -273.15 degrees Celsius.

I think you got a small detail wrong. It's not a reference to zero kelvin being -273.15 but its literally just reference to waters freezing point in kelvin aka 273.15. Sub-Zeros whole thing being ice you know.

I love that Ivankief's build was so cracked in the first playthrough that you chose to become him in the second and just steamrolled everyone 😂

This guy makes some of the most satisfying progression game series I've ever seen, everyone trying to imitate his style honestly fall short in either interest, jokes, commentary, style or pacing. My only critique is the repetitive royalty free music but beyond that this guy is a Goat at what he does. As I said in the last vid, would highly recommend Kenshi as I feel it would definitely suit your style.

@@FloydsonYT Personally I'd recommend a bit of variety implemented, maybe sourcing some of the games OST or something else that matches the vibe you want to project with your style. I don't expect it to be a easy fix since music can make or break the style but its just a personal pet peeve of mine, nothing serious.

"flip a dingo" is not a phrase I've heard before but now but when I imagine the aussiest of Aussie things, "flip a dingo" is now top of my list

Guessing at heart is a fun way to also mix in humans since in some stories they team up/get respected by predators becoming predators themselves, or that humans could also predate on both alien species in some settings.

This game is crazy it has references from almost every movie I grew up watching, enter the dragon, drunken master,pulp fiction,Godfather,Batman and the list goes on. Wtf 😂

I bought this game (actually, Graveyard Keeper too) because of your videos. Still, it was great to watch this video because a) you smoked Normal mode and b) it was great to see the evil route. Never would have seen that on my own. 10/10 video.

Sub273 is a great joke. The point of absolute zero, the point in which there is not heat at all, is -273 celsius. So his name is a joke about him being legally distinct Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.

I played this so long ago and only now that I'm watching a playthrough of it did I realize that the guy parodying subzero from mortal kombat is called Sub273 is because 0 degrees Celsius can be converted to around 273 degrees Kelvin. God the references in this game are so good.

Thank you! Yep I'll upload the movie for this probably in a week or so, and factorio at some point too. And I'm actually still pretty far ahead in content because I didn't upload at all in January, so I'm looking after myself I promise! Though I won't be uploading weekly normally, I'll just do that for sequels if it's feasible.

And since you finished the game I won't be backseating if I say that the easiest skills to max and win with is Stamina>Strength>Agility, so all in all you were highly unlucky but good job for powering through the torture that is "hardcore fly like a butterfly sting like a butterfly build"

Other way around but yeah. 273 Kelvin is Sub-Zero for Celsius (-0.15). 0 Kelvin is near negative 273 Celsius.

The joke about Gabe being unable to attend the fight is probably due to it being a double reference to Raphael and Gabe Newell. Raphael always went missing to do his own solo vigilante work. And Gabe is known for rarely making public appearance and the joke about him and Valve's inability to count to 3. And the Gabe alligator is the third alligator for you to fight. So those are some of the possible reasons.
