i feel like there’s not too many 100 days of coral island or even too much stuff since the 1.0 update cuz that’s when i picked it up but this is much appreciated 😊 i like to see what people spend a lot of their time on a daily routines so i love these 100 day videos

I had downloaded and played it since early access. Kindda stop in 4 hours play time, because there so much missing from UI, event and npc interaction. After seeing your gameplay rn, i guess im motivated to play now thx 😂

The game's not at 100% (even for a full 1.0). Some characters are missing dialogue, some elements of the game haven't been fully coded, and the ocean caves are incomplete and glitchy. I would recommend staying out of them entirely to be safe. My character has also gotten stuck a couple times, forcing me to use the "I'm stuck" button to force a day end. Only a minor inconvenience. But the game is most of the way complete. You could probably play multiple years and have a lot of fun. It still plays like a late Beta, but I haven't gotten a single crash. If you don't mind a slightly incomplete experience, I'd recommend checking it out, it's still pretty cheap for a good game. I've put almost 40 hours into my game so far and I'm only at the beginning of Year Two.

@@andrewklang809 honestly with that much storyline, characters and content its pretty cheap. It's pretty rare for dev to make 200++ museum item, many character and many area to unlock. They just need more time to make the mechanic works

Surya is a very popular name in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java, other examples are clothing, food, fruit, animals and mystical creatures such as the giants, gong and groo clothes they wear like "batik cloth" which is very synonymous with Indonesia, Actually I still have a lot to tell about Indonesian culture in this game, but I'm having so much trouble in English, English is my second language so... Oh no! Anyway...

recently started playing this and looks like this game is evolution of stardew valley. it has most features that my heavily modded stardew has plus it's own flavor on top of the modern 3D looks. stardew being made by just one person is both amazing and both disappointing at the same time, it has brilliant ideas but some parts of the games feel completely weak that could otherwise be polished with help of a team. I would always liked to see a group take stardew and make it to next levels and looks like it's happening

I'm just about to hit 100 days in my first playthrough. Town's up to C rank, ocean's at A, dating Eva (but Yuri's coming onto me hard and making me wish there was a poly mod already), House style is chosen, Year 2 farm is big, and with the computer my next big purchase, perfection is in sight. Just waiting to (slowly) gather enough hardwood to expand my house enough to finally be able to maybe properly decorate the upper floor. Then I'll pop the question. Ocean caves still bugged as hell, though. Risked corrupting my save just going in them. Won't make that mistake again until later updates. A rank is fine. S is for people who don't understand how the alphabet works.

@@ezlilyy Just restore all the thingies, then talk to not-evil Ursula, then restore the big thingee. Easiest one, and the one I prioritized. Did it with a Bronze scythe too, because I was in such a hurry. Doesn't look like you can go for S rating in this version, BTW. The caves don't appear to be finished, and I got some pretty ugly glitches when I tried. Since I only had the one save file, I took a huge risk with it, but it went OK.

@@ezlilyy Well, yeah. Some of these butterflies are crazy skittish. I think it's easier to level up on ocean critters. They're pretty chill down there.

It's the best farming game since Stardew, and it plays like a next-gen platform sequel. I'm old enough to remember the SNES --> N64 transition and it's very similar, with the (YOOJ!) advantage of running patches and mods to look forward to. The developers are off to an incredible start, so once they get the game finished, I'm confident it will be Stardew's successor for greatest farming game ever.

And Stardew is a copy of Harvest Moon. The creator is literally a fan of Harvest Moon and decide to make a game of his own based on it. And this game give a shout-out to ConcernedApe with the Concerned Monkey which is an Ape. Stardew is not OG. It’s a farming game, it’s a genre of it’s own at this point.

Fiber is used to make hay, but sap isn't used for fertilizer, a new resource called compost is used instead. There's no clay substitute, but there is scrap, which is used along with wood and stone to build most devices. And trash is used to make not only the simplest items, but also used to make compost and scrap. The game's economy is bigger than Stardew's, and trash is at the root of everything. It's all about recycling and repurposing. You're kinda playing as an applied chemist, transmuting everything into something else. But copper, silver, gold, and unrealistic purple super-metal (this time Osmium) has the same role, but now there are two different kinds: ore and kelp. There's more fish, and now there are bugs and ocean critters added to the mix. More foraging stuff, plus lots of sea foragables. Twice as many unlockable areas, lots more artisan devices, a TON of decorations, over twice the number of characters. There's only one thing about the game as is that clearly doesn't match up with Stardew, and that's the mines; they feel sterile and the monsters are incredibly weak. The weapon system is also not complete. They work, but the differences are merely cosmetic. More than any other farming sim I've played, this feels the most like a bigger, more detailed sequel to Stardew. Keeping just about everything that game has and adding much, much more.

Very interesting, I had no idea!!

... unless you're on console. Then, the game crashes every 10 minutes for no reason other than the game isn't finished. It's unpolished, unstable and incomplete. It's beyond frustrating losing real life hours replaying the same damn days over and over while anxiously awaiting a crash at any time. I wish a single creator would mention this instead of ignoring those of us that area trying to like the game but can't because the game isn't ready for release in its current state.
