Honestly out of all of these bad games this Avatar game is still the best one probably and would be the game you might even have the most fun playing, Gollum, Kong and TWD are abysmally bad whereas this is just vanilla bad.

The achievement for finishing book 2 is "Fire and Lightning Fizzle" .....But...... Azula and Zuko WIN that fight. They conquer Ba Sing Se and the heroes are on the run, they need to remain in hiding the entire third book.

@@angelman69 The achievement is based on using Toph's seismic sense which is basically an earth bending based sixth sense that lets her ''see'' by feeling the vibrations of the ground. The achievement name being ''that sounds right'' feels like it's meant to be a joke on the use of seismic sense but seismic sense has nothing to do with hearing.

the worst part is that by now, if any studio had really taken it seriously, enough time has passed that we could have a super well-made ATLA game that doesn't just re-tread on the show and lets us be our own person, or comes up with a new protagonist for us, doing something in the same universe and not even necessarily being the Avatar... Just some person with their own goals, with a plot that helps flesh out the worldbuilding and all that. Like do they not know how many of us used to or even straight up still do make OCs and self-inserts for this show?

Babe wake up, new Aaron Achievement hunt dropped. Edit: Finished the video and this game being released in 2023 is actually insane. Graphics look like PS2 era and infact when I saw you playing it on stream I thought it WAS a PS2 game i had never heard of. The bugs are insane. The last one locking you out of the trophy is inexcusable. I cannot fathom how this is a licensed game. The gameplay seems hollow and sad honestly. I watched you do about 100 sliding puzzles and thats just boring.

The most ironic Thing about this Game is the Story was re-told to this Lady, to clear up "historical Inaccuracies", while the actual Game had Puzzles, Fights and Side-Quests that had nothing to do with Aang's Adventures at all. Like, damn! This "Boy in the Iceberg" Play was even more accurate than the Game was when you think about it. XD

Why couldn't Avatar have gotten the Hogwarts Legacy treatment? Give the series with actually good worldbuilding a new open world customizable experience...imagine if you could pick your bending type with 'subclasses' for specializations like metalbending, have different storylines depending on where you start and what you do, etc. I can only hope the Netflix series reignites the possibility...

Kinda surprising that after all this time, there is still only one good Avatar video game, and it was the Legend of Korra game that is a bit too short and now delisted but still pretty dang fun. Also, that may have been where the animal race concept came from, as there were a few endless runner sequences of riding Naga that were handled far better in that game. But really, why has nobody managed to make a really good or great game from this franchise yet?

The comics are fantastic, and my brothers told Me the novels are great, I can also say the tabletop RPG is fantastic. I’d say the Korra game is good but seeing as it’s not available anymore that’s a moot point. This is honestly a low point, but most avatar media is great.

I just platinumed this game. It was painful. Not only did I get trapped in Chapter 10 too, but I ran into a bug in Chapter 15 that made it impossible to complete a side quest. So I had to delete my save data twice, and thus ended up playing through the game 3 seperate times before finally getting the platinum.

You deserve a like and comment for going through all that and not be able to finish. That’s some video game bs, platinums are beautiful but that one wasn’t worth redoing the game. Love avatar still and hope one day they’ll have game and movies that do it justice

someone tell the devs to add a global flag for that god damn gate or make it so you spawn at the BEGINNING of a level. Like, seriously???? Why??? Or at least a lever for the gate on that side. Most games usually add a lever on the other side in case a glitch happens.

Visually combat seems kinda like from Tales of Vesperia, but I assume it's not that. About that achievement lock, it reminds me of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and how in act 2 there is a permamently missable area that you can access again only after doing new game+. At least you don't have to restart everything and game kinda nudges you to restart anyway, so it's not that bad. And we're talking about a game from like 2006, so it was more likely the devs didn't thought about 100% replayable level design. Btw. the whole layout and graphics of that game you played feel similar to that Avatar mobile game that got released like a year ago.

Because the game doesn’t let you replay specific levels like that. It takes away story mode once you’ve completed it.

Honestly, this game made think about how cool an mmo that takes place in the world of Avatar The Last Airbender. Like, imagine getting to choose an element and exploring the settings you see in the show. Idk, it might be a dumb idea, but it would probably be better than this mess lol

It's incredibly saddening that a game that combines the entirety of the show into one game is an overall worse product than the PS2 games that only used barely half of an individual season. Yeah, they aren't great either, but they at least don't force you to run through giant empty hallways just to get anywhere. The only thing this game has over the others is that it has the Cabbage merchant, and destroying his cart is an optional quest line, which I honestly wouldn't want any other way.

Something similar happened to me but even far worse. It's about the game Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. I was in the final chapter right before the ending of the game and I couldn't finish it because I was missing an important item to reach the end but I didn't have that item. The problem was that I didn't have that item and couldn't go back. I would've needed to start the game from scratch and anyone who has played a Professor Layton and Ace Attorney game knows how much hours the whole game consumes and I'm talking about 30 hours of gameplay or even more. Wonder if that backtracking issue has been fixed yet. Games nowadays require internet and they are patched constantly, there's 0 excuse of it still being broken, like this game was a pre-7th console generation licensed kids game

Currently running through the game a second time. Can confirm the backtracking has not been fixed. 😢

Could be wrong, in free mode does doing a level load you at the start of the next one? If so you could have done chapter 9 again

It does not! It loaded me right back to the checkpoint I’d started at in Level 9. In free play mode, the levels don’t connect with each other for some reason

Makes sense they based it off Lego games. I got locked out of even completing the skywalker saga because of tak to maz bug.

I was thinking about buying this game gald i watched this first i would of been disappointed it looksike such a missed opportunity. They could of made a game were you make your own character and your the last air bender that would be dope
