I Pickup MSI EX600 from Trash - Can I restore it?
Ғылым және технология
Hi everyone, thank you for 22:27 of your time. In this video I restore trashed MSI EX600 and one less to finish on Landfill. It's a bit old laptop, but not for trash, it's good for basic daily tasks such working with document, social media, web browsing, watching videos, listening to musing and playing older but great games ( hundreds of games can be still be played )

Didn't expect the ruler would ever come in handy lol now I know 😅

That is a really great and novel use-case, also, spraying it and then covering the ruler with carbon vinyl...brilliant!

THank youuu bro :D
Really love how creative this guy restores stuff. Continue uploading good content as always! :)
These videos always put a smile on my face. Spreading good vibes to the world one laptop restoration at a time. Your content inspires on so many levels!
Finally what I have been looking for. Videos with great simple mods and detailed teardowns and can't forget the cleaning too. I searched KZread for this kind a of content but couldn't really find just the right stuff. I just love what you do to those laptops\pcs etc. And I really enjoy how you clean everything. I kind a do the same too when cleaning very meticulous. Plus you have all the right tools. Brushes, brushes, brushes and lots of alcohol. Yep!. Keep it up and I will keep watching. Thank You and Stay Safe. from a proud Canadian.
new subciber here, Im impressed that you can disassemble all the components without a manual. Its so entertaining to watch how you can revive broken laptops and doing some modification on it.
What a genius idea !! I had a slightly different specced model with the exact top cover and the exact problem...broken cover at the hinges. I could not discard the laptop because it was my first laptop. Now I know how to restore it. A billion thanks to Andrew.
Oh my god, that plastic ruler trick and the use of carbon vinyl cover is absolutely amazing. Well done!
Using a plastic ruler to enforce the broken case is an absolutely genius idea! I didn't expect you'd cover it with vinyl sticker. A pretty cool hack.
very nice content as always. I think you should give more highlights on before and after performance of the machine. Gamers loved that.
Been watching your channel for about a year and a half now! I'm really enjoying the laptop content, keep working hard bro!
The plastic ruler was brilliant thanks for sharing that trick / idea
Fabulous video!!! I am speechless at your ingenuity.
Yoooo the ruler thing is awesome!!!! Keep up the good work Andrew 👍👍👍
The ruler is a great idea, love it!
This is an incredible restoration. The ruler was genius and looks really good.
That’s unusual to see so many wires and cables in a laptop. It looked like a lot of work to refurbish, so nice work dude!
@Deraco1

It's rather a standard issue sometimes. I find it hard to believe that MSI would of had those wires cross with the clips like that though. Looks like someone has been in the system before per the no hard drive mount for starters.
I wish I could do this these are really cool videos. Been watching for 2 years your contents never changed always been great quality... well incredible quality keep it up!
I love to see a future upgrade of this laptop
Great job! I highly appreciate the "ruler" screen fix. Wish I had this idea for my 2007 Asus laptop which had a known failed screen plastic (it shattered almost on every machine)
I love seeing you fix old pc and laptop
Very nice restore project Andrew!
I just want to thank you! I'm learning a lot about laptops thanks to your videos!
No matter what this is my favourite channel !! ❤️

Andrew never ceases to amaze me with his imagination, innovativeness, creativity, cleanliness, system & organization, and generally high level of abilities.
Congratulations on your creativity.
Wow, this has been really nostalgic for me. The first laptop I owned was MSI GX600 which has almost identical chassis. The hinges on these laptops broke really easily and in general it was much more fragile than one could expect (for a while I actually did the same thing as you did in the video - switched the hinge brackets to upside down - it helped a lot). In the end I rebuild the whole laptop from scratch using a donor laptop. This basically made me strip it down to each screw and creating one computer out of two. Unexpectedly, it was great fun. Sadly I sold the laptop afterwards, I now wish I kept it.
wow the cable management in this laptop looks like a real pain- great video as always!
