You should keep that doorstop, it goes with your adorable house.
No cat collection is complete without a real, live kitty ... or two!
All very beautiful shades, and you picked a winner Scott! My personal favorite was the one with the carnival shades that hung from chains.
I’m so chuffed, your going to use the lamp I liked best. Can’t wait to see it put up!
That light fixture will look lovely in your dining room.
More pretty things. I could use those display shelves. Love the light fixture you chose. I have the old crystal chandelier from my uncle’s Brooklyn brownstone hanging over my dining table. It’s too long to hang anywhere else. Before I installed it, it hung in my parent’s’ garage (50s ranch) between their two vehicles. 😮 Scott your home keeps looking better and better.
Yay! You picked the one I liked best. It’s just stunning. I can’t wait to see it in place.
I love the fan vase too!
Yes!! That’s the light fixture I hoped you would select. 🥰🥰🥰
You had me chuckling several times during this video! You are just lots of fun as you share your adventures in the 1925 bungalow! xo
I knew. you would choose that one!! Lollolol Scott your video last night from the attic was wonderful! I enjoyed it very much! ❤
That is the one that will be beautiful in that room.
Love those shades Mrs. Schmidt purchased. What a find!
The Art Deco cat looks Eygptian in style.
Love LOVE the fan vase!!!
Love seeing the cats they are beautiful and the light fitting is superb I thought at first it would be too fussy and overwhelm the dining room but I saw the socket in the middle piece to light it up as well,it will be perfect.👏😀👍
Love that Black cat statue. The provinaunce is awesome.
I am super excited for you lol. Beautiful light it is going to be so perfect in the dining room. Can’t wait to see it up and the living room one too.

So excited about your dining room light. Those shades are unbelievable! I’m in love with that fan vase. Another fun time in your 1920’s bungalow!
And…. You made the very best choice for your lighting 🙌🏻👍🙏🏻. The second choice would not be as classic
Please give us a chance to rescue that sweet little girl/boy in your beautiful frame!
"The slight nick on the ear, that just means he's fixed right?" LOL! Yes Scott, that's what the Bolsheviks do when they sterilize cats!
I remember when you found the box of shades at the flea market 😊
I love those oil lamps
I’m so glad you picked that light fixture. Good choice! Have a great day Scott.
I'm so glad you chose this one. It was my choice. The shades with the red will certainly complement the drapes. Love love your choice. 😊
My grandmother used an old cast iron for a door stop.
Gorgeous light for the dining room! What a fun basement to explore.
Loved the cats. Can’t wait to see the lighting fixture in place! Fun video! Thanks for sharing!
So happy for your choice of dining room chandelier 👏🎉👏 . What 👍 an elegant piece of history, you will need to include your Fans with a Champagne Toast, when it goes up, black tie, of course. Let’s not forget to mention the satin/silk trim on the lampshades will look perfect with your curtains! Your choice Scott has multiple looks you can easily achieve! The Philadelphia Art Museum and every vintage home in Villanova are sending you great thrifted finds in 2024.👍❤️👍💚👍
Love that chandelier
The blue candle stick holder from the other day,is called a chamber stick.(used for bedrooms)😂😂😂😂the organ blasting the second coming.Oh yes the green segmented dish with the silver holder.A keeper.
Huzzah! You picked the right light. Beautiful fixture! The dimmer will be perfect.
Nice lighting choice for dining room!
I love the light fixture.
That big cat looks like the black version of the "Zenith Strastosphere Cat" that some antique radio collectors obsess over. Can't wait to see the fixtures in place in your dining and living rooms.

Yes indeed! I’ve seen the old Zenith ads with that cat sitting in the concave speaker grill.
I just love your verbal delivery. 😊
Yay!! That’s the one I wanted!!
I have that fan vase, I bought it at auction in a box lot with a bunch of antique decanters. Scott, my cost with the buyers premium was two,yes 2 dollars! I sold all four decanters for $210.00 and kept the vase. I have Christmas lights in the vase, as it's clear I never put it away.
The fan vase is great; reminds me of a honey comb. Glad you picked that light fixture; it will be so awesome.
Excellent choice of light fixture. That was my favorite. It will be so versatile for any occasion.
Good choice on the dining room light! It will look fabulous!
Dear Scott, YOU picked the one I wanted you to pick. It's going to look tremendous in the dining room. I can't wait to see it with everything in that room, especially for the Christmas season. I take that back for season. Jersey Ann in NJ 🤗
My mom did that to all her things so my sister andI wouldn't fight over them..she knew us well😂
Omg! I just love all that you showed us today. The wall shelf is my fave. That light fixture will be lovely. Now hurry and put it up!
That’s what I do . I mark on the back for who will get it .
Great choice on the light fixture!
Great choice for the overhead lighting Scott! You’re right, it’s going to look fantastic!
That black cat is fabulous!!!! such a treasure. I always only have black (and white) cats. when they go outside, no matter what time of year, I can always see them out there in the woods or on the lawn.
Love the dining room fixture!😊
I love the choice you made for your dining room fixture. Just beautiful! The wall shelf is much like the ones I have. My dad used to carve them for knick knacks without the mirror in the back. I have one like yours with the mirror, but a little wider. I love them. I know they don't fit into a lot of younger peoples tastes, but I love them.
I think I see a bit of cubist influence in the little cat.
It is beautiful chandelier. Great choice now that i look at it with shades! Can't wait to see it in your dining room.
Fun visit, up, down and all around your house. Great finds. That doorstop would look great holding your French door. Good choice on the light fixtures, nothing wrong with a little wow factor.
Ooohhh the cast iron doorstop is charming.
Scott, When you showed the chosen light fixture on your Community tab the other day, I knew that she was the one that you had picked! She is a gorgeous Lady with tons of personality and charm, no wonder you are smitten! Hopefully the next time we see her she will be hanging elegantly above your dining room table and her mate will be adorning the living room ceiling! You know we always like a bit of mystery and intrigue and I think you enjoy keeping us in suspense over your decorating choices. You have excellent taste and it goes without saying that ultimately you have the final word on what goes where. Love your choice, she will be the life of your future Dinner Parties! xoxo
The dining room light will be stunning!
Lovely thrift haul, and you made the right choice for the dining room fixture…it will be perfection.🖤🇨🇦
I told others today about watching last nights Christmas Past unboxing. Told them you showed Christmas artifacts I didn’t know existed.🎄🎄🎄
Love your lighting. I should send you some photos of the antique lighting my dad has collected and rewired over th years. I can't stand naked bulbs either.
Gorgeous
Good choice of lighting!
I am always amazed at what you find at the thrift shops. I am a thrifter in NC but I never find anything that compares to what you find. I live in a small town and that may be why.
This was a really fun video, although I am slightly bitter about the gratuitous candy jar shot. 😉
I have the sister to your green 4 section green glass with silver holder. Mine is oval & 2 sections with the silver holder. Same lines in the glass.
I have not seen cast iron door stops for a long time
Good afternoon, I was thrilled to see you were showing this today. It's raining buckets here today!! Perfect day to sit back with coffee ☕ and watch!! I'm Very happy 👋 you chose the light fixture!! Green's and cut white mum's sprigs of red berry. Very pretty!! Enjoy your day and cozy home!! ❄️⛄❄️

Great choice with the dining light fixture.
Love the Art Deci 1920 Cat…
That is fantastic, I think you chose the right one.💕✨
I love the light fixture you picked!
Hello Scott
So cute
I am super excited with you - look at those gorgeous shades - they are to die for - the whole chandelier is absolutely marvellous !!! can the Carnival glass go over your bed? (Didn’t you show us curtains and bedspread in the rosy color, that you were thinking of putting in your bedroom awhile ago?) it’s the in thing to do nowadays!🎄
Beautiful
I have a old bubble framed Victorian pic of a little girl around 3-4 yrs old maybe? hanging in my downstairs bathroom, my daughter HATES it and calls it the devil baby picture..lol.. I loooove the light fixture, what's the sense of being an antiques collector and seller if you can't keep the really gorgeous stuff for yourself?.. great pick! your table will be quite the example of early 1900's elegance. 👍🏽
Lovely!
My Grandparents did not smile in Photographs either
Happy you chose the one you did Scott. I was hesitant to say as I didn’t know the proportions of your room & if it would be to scale 🤔. Glad to know it’s a good fit & will cast a lovely soft glow when dining 🥰 🏡. Well done!
I like that
Woo hoo
I just discovered your channel! Am learning so much about glass!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!
The Georgian style sweet jar is gorgeous.Classic, timeless design.I love the new chair. Are you going to use it in the dining room?
If it's old and good price get it i would 😊
Break time from Christmas crafting. Got my legs up and my bourbon eggnog with a dash of fresh grated nutmeg. Watching me some Old Curiosity Shop. My Christmas theme this year is vintage Santa....everything. I enjoyed yesterday's attic episode. I have an extensive collection of antique and vintage glass blown German and Polleinaise (Poland) ornaments. This year they are staying packed away...because this is the year of Santa. Change is good.

You got my mouth watering when you mentioned bourbon eggnog! Yum!
Hi Scott.
lol, do not put gasoline in lamps that you put in your home, I guess that would cover up the smell of our bad breath...the cats are awesome
