I second that!. I had a dc sports header, test pipe, and full straight flow through exhaust and it wasn't too bad, but I bet that header is gonna up that volume a lot!

I used his video to do the auto to manual swap in my 97 lx😃 dude is more detailed than alot of other people and he focuses on some of the minute problems that others dont. I was always mechanical just on small engines. I can build a 8 or 9000 rpm flat head 5hp Briggs and stratton with my eyes close

I hope you do the k20z3 head and type s oil pump. I’ve always dreamed of doing so to my em2 swap. I Imagine that’ll make a really strong K20a3. The only thing it’s missing would be the rotating assembly but that is an extreme. I myself wouldn’t do rotating assembly unless it’s really needed

Hey bud , I took the bolts off above the strut by accident. the two that hold the steering rack in place. I only got one out of two back in place , do you think it's serious not to have both bolts back in?

What high flow cat would you recommend on a 02 rsx with that header?

Speaking of cats and EPA: I'd love to learn more about how your modified vehicles are inspected and registered. I've been gobbling up some of your older civic videos, learning for a project I hope to start soon; thanks for the great content btw. But like most KZreadrs you don't talk much about inspection and registration. Maybe I'm getting old, but I won't be able to enjoy driving around with my sick modified civic if I'm worried about fines or worse. I've done loads of research (specifically for Texas!) but have lots of unanswered questions. Happy to pass those along if you're ever interested in a video about this (I'd like to think it'd be a popular video).

The reason you don’t hear people talking about it is because we don’t know who is a rat or snitch and what their true intentions are. Older cars aren’t hard up on inspection though and the local area isn’t required to pass emission test so as long as it pass safety inspection then it’s good to go.

@@TexasHondaChannel Ah yeah no emission test helps. I'm in a bigger metro area so I have to pass OBD II test at a minimum. Figured it might be possible with an s300 added to the factory ECU. What I'd really like to do is find a solution they can snitch on all day? 100% above-board? Just not sure that's possible. The laws I found on the state's website are only about emissions so it should be possible.

Just throwing it out there, O2 sensors should be mounted between 0° (straight horizontal) and +60° or so above horizontal in order to avoid frozen condensation damaging the sensor on cold starts. I assume this is less of an issue in Texas than it is in the Midwest or something, but the fact that a legitimate header manufacturer designed it that way is concerning. Fortunately stainless weld-in O2 bungs and plugs are cheap as hell if you ever have an issue.

@@bigccordova9214 thank you and trust me I’m WAY happier with Acura but this car is what I wanted for a very long time and the deal was too good to say no too. I have a $15,000 engine which will help us with our future. I do share the same love with the Acura as you. Unfortunately content isn’t cheap for me and people loose interest fast when I do end up liking a build. Views are my paychecks so it puts me in a tough spot.

Evening. I watched ur auto to manual swap. Just did one this week. Car was fine prior. Now manual is all in and hooked up. It cranks but no start. No fuel pump prime. No spark. I wired two big black wires together. Other two for the key to be taken Out. It just makes no sense.

Check the thermostat ground. Make sure you have a transmission to frame ground as well. Grounds are super important. If you have too just run a ground from the negative directly to the transmission. Make sure its on the metal, Also the thermostat ground i remove sometimes and forget to put back on and i learned the hard way. Hopfully thats all it is. That particular ground controls, Ecu, Fuel pump and more.

So it ended up being ground broke on thermostat. Fixed that. Now I have two codes. I’m guessing need a manual ecu P1768. P1382. Btw I have d16y7 head on d15b2 block with aooo trans 5 speed. Manual.

@@TexasHondaChannel well I got the manual ecu it runs worst then auto ecu. Only code on auto now is p1768 which is auto shift sensor. There away I can bypass that or something bc car is to rich and slow acceleration and barely has any power

It reminds me of a turquoise like color its not bad on the car. I would like to see how its going to blend under hood with valve cover and other colors blending.
