Very damn good for a big, heavy, four door sedan. And the acceleration past other cars is just incredible! Hope the roadster cools its batteries better and is a lot lighter. (noticed the Taycan had the previous record) He had a l normal steering wheel that gives more than one turn lock-to-lock. Trackpack also disables 200mph limit. Other reported records at: Willow Springs, Laguna Seca (4 door sedan) and Buttonwillow . One user reported 7 flats with the 21" wheels requires to enable 150mph, (too much weight for the tires). The new "Extra Load" tires were the fix for that.

A joy to watch, if not slightly terrifying! It’s insane to think how far Tesla engineering has come in just 19 years… and what might be in store for the future! 🤔

Artificial intelligence has been instrumental In Teslas development thus far and will continue to be a key factor in any future improved design developments. The capacity that Artificial intelligence technologies has advanced is absolutely amazing and terrifying.

Great that they fixed the stability, if they could make it able to do full power for an entire lap that would also be good.

@@eugenux 3 laps is really good. Sadly, Plaid overheats before lap 1 ends🤣 . That said, most track cars last 2-3 laps too on the Ring (it's a long track!!), but at FULL power!!. After that, refuel, let it cool. Tesla does need a charger though. 15min to 80%.

@@Henry_Jr_Watssondon't forget that after quick charging battery will be overheated even more if it would actually charge quickly because of the temp it already has from all this driving. So basically until you cool the battery down it's not gonna be good
