I should clarity that you will need a REGION UNLOCKED Xbox to run the PAL version of Battle Engine Aquila 👍 I've had a modded XBOX for years now and it opens up all regions which is great.

LOVED Bloodwake and Brute Force growing up, I'm glad you shined a light on them!
I was in college when these came out and only owned a PS2. I’d known about Psi-Ops, and MX vs ATV, I’m just surprised at how many I didn’t know about. Quantum Redshift looks awesome as well as Brute Force, and Full Spectrum Warrior. I’ve added all of these to an ever-growing list of games to play via emulation on Steam Deck. Thanks for these weekly videos! This one was really good because again, there was just a TON of games I’d never heard of.
Both ‘Arctic Thunder’ by Midway, and ‘Quantum Redshift’ by Microsoft were my favorite (and only) racing games as a kid. I didn’t realize, until recently, that Quantum Redshift has an actual story behind it, with rivalries between the player characters. Playing Medal of Honor: Frontline & Rising Sun in multiplayer was also an entertaining, & memorable experience. My brother once threw a ‘nade at my father, and it glitched to my dad’s characters chest and exploded! This was before war games had sticky grenades, which is why this was so impressive.
I think Full Spectrum Warrior was developed in some fashion with the army for research or training purposes or something so it was meant to be as realistic as it could be in terms of strategy and options.

New Metal Jesus video!! Keeping this on ice until i get home 🙂
Blood Wake absolutely rocks, I need to give that another playthrough soon. I'm a huge fan of the OG Xbox and I'm glad you are showcasing it. Lots of amazing games and hidden gems on there.
I've mainly been collecting for it this last year or so. I've gotten about 20 more to my collection plus this cool Spider-Man controller. I feel it's still the most affordable of those consoles of that era to buy for PS2 it depends but is definitely more expensive overall and GameCube like I've bought a few GameCube games but damn if it isn't super expensive to do so.
Ah, Psi Ops and Second Sight, two games I always wanted as a kid since I saw them in gaming magazines. I bought Second Sight for PS2 this year, it was ok. I remember play MX vs ATV Unleashed on PC with my brother, but only demo. I should make new channel and go through all these demo cds, there are thousands of games on there, if only one could find time to record everything...
Loved the vid! I’m sure you’ve been asked this one million times, but would you ever live stream when you play these games? I’d love to watch if so!
Also, on a related note: a lot of 360 games are rather affordable as well these days. I found an absolute masterpiece i was completely unaware of until a few days ago called Lost Odyssey.. i find it to be one of the best RPGs the console has to offer, and is well deserving of a new-gen update! Edit: Just scored a copy from ebay for $15 +s&h! (Hoping it's complete lol)

5:06 - I still play that every now and then. What's cool about that game is it plays at native 1080i on an original Xbox. Also backwards compatible on 360 as well.
OG Xbox is one of my favorite systems. As a PC gamer it was very cool to see so many PC titles ported to it like Morrowind, KOTOR, and even Operation Flashpoint.
Thanks for giving the OG Xbox spotlight once again! Greetings from a PAL OG Xbox collector, currently at 725/814 games.
Rallisport Challenge 2 is the reason I ended up picking up an Xbox. It's got a great handling model with a solid selection of tracks and event types. Plus the DLC was really well done and added some unique and interesting vehicles. It's still going for about $10 right now.

Metal Arms! This was my brother and I's favorite game for a while back in the day. So glad you're talking about it here. The multiplayer was great on it, too. The gun charging and robot screams live in my head to this day.
Happy Friday MJR community. WFH Friday's, MJR video has been my routine for a while now. Life is good.
Watching this video has made me look through my collection. I used to have brute force and blood wake. Mist have lost those somewhere. I still have quantum redhaift though. All great games. Another gem I'd like to mention is Armed and Dangerous.
Full Spectrum Warrior appeared on Xbox as part of Games With Gold last year and I played it on a whim and was hooked from start to finish.
I got my first og Xbox last month so this is excellent timing.
KUF Crusaders is one of my all time favorites! And the soundtrack was sooooo damn good. PSI Ops had an awesome soundtrack. Brute Force was definitely fun. Should've been a bigger hit.

Max Payne, Halo 1&2, Taito Legends( Rastan) Midway Treasures, Namco Collection(Rolling Thunder), Mortal Kombat Deception and Mortal Kombat Armageddon, etc. Thanx for the video!
Thank you for time and making lots of brilliant videos!!!!. Quite often an overlooked system here in the UK but has some amazing gems. Im about 55 games off a full pal set... trying to get a full club football set on the original xbox is hard and expensive!!!!! Prices are also going up in the UK. Silent Hill 2, Evil Dead Regeneration , Final Fight Streetwise is going for around 50 dollars (or I'm paying too much), . Cheers for being amazing Wozza 🤟

I missed ya Metal Jesus, I was wondering why I hadn't seen any recent videos, probably last like 6 or so months.I thought you quit making videos, turns out, I had been unsubscribed. I resubscribed immediately. Oh and Kingdom Under Fire, that was a deep dive, I had forgotten. It brought back alot of memories of the OG Xbox. Great video as always.
Nice pickups fellas! I bought SSX 3, Unreal Tournament 2 the Liandri Conflict(both original Xbox), Far Cry 3(360), and Titanfall 2(xbone) all for 20 Canadian last week😄👍. I’m into collecting backward compatible titles for my series x at the moment. Titanfall 2 is amazing on series x at 120fps,and the boost on Far Cry 3 bumps it to 60fps. The originals look great too. Idk if it’s the series x boosting the resolution or what, but I swear they look better than I remember.
Illuminating as always. Some more games I never knew I wanted💰
You just reminded me of some games I need to dust off for my Original Xbox 😅, although I'm very sad you didn't even mention Jet Set Radio Future 😭, I know the game is pretty well known as far as Original Xbox Exclusives are, but still 🙂
I have Psi-Ops for the PlayStation 2. I remember getting stuck in it early and never returning to it. I do want to give it another go eventually. One Xbox game I did get for 20 bucks (I think at least) was Tony Hawk 2X. It's basically Tony Hawk 1 and 2 from the PS1 and N64 combined into one game. Very happy to have it.
If you have not played them previously. You should check out the campaign level DLCs for Brute Force and Full Spectrum Warrior.
Holy hell how could I forget about Brute Force!! Awesome video as always!
Love the xbox videos showing all these classic games some love.
Highly recommend Conker Reloaded, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy), Midway Arcade Treasures series, Yager, The Warriors and Red Dead Revolver to name a few, the Xbox is such a sweet spot system for great games with fantastic graphics, gameplay and good audio too, when hooked up to a nice CRT, can be either a SD or EDTV (progressive scan) CRT with a decent sound system, you are in for a real treat and can enjoy really good examples of some of the best titles released at that time. I have well over a hundred OGXB games now, also really enjoy the XB360, which too is a sweet spot for games of that time period as it plays them so well, and they look great, especially on a VGA CRT monitor, something which the 360 has natively, the VGA output looks incredible to this day, much like the Dreamcast VGA mode, the OGXB can also do VGA if you get the official HD cable, it has analogue component output, just convert that to VGA, or your VGA monitor might be able to take component directly if it has sync on green, many do, it's worth it because the OGXB looks its absolute best on a VGA CRT monitor, Conker Reloaded in 480p on a VGA monitor looks better than a lot of modern games do.
MX Unleashed was the reason I got into alt metal. Trust Company, Ra and so much more on that soundtrack were such core memories as a kid playing with my cousin.

Quantum Redshift looks like Wipeout meets Star Wars Episode 1 Racer. I'm not sure I ever heard of it back in the day, looks great.
Great picks overall but I'd suggest Phantom Crash and Gun Metal over Brute Force. Many of these games are backwards compatible as well. Battle Engine Aquila, Metal Arms, and Quantum Redshift will play on the Xbox 360, whereas MX vs. ATV Unleashed and Full Spectrum Warriors are also playable on the newer XB1/XSX systems.
I really wanted to play blood wake as a kid, there was a trailer for it on a game called azurik I think, there was one for fusion frenzy on the same disc
Psi-Ops was one of my brother and I’s favorite games to play as a kid. Such an awesome game and it was a Midway game I think so you could put in a cheat code and play the game in an old school MK Scorpion Ninja Skin.

Psi Ops is one of my favorite games on the xbox. You didnt found The Suffering in that store?. Another favorite of mine.
I saw that Quantum Redshift box art and immediately was sent back twenty years ago, holy crap
Just a heads up on Full Spectrum Warrior: it has a sequel / expansion called Ten Hammers, whatever you do, don't pick that one, it has a bug that deletes your save file and forces you to start the game from the beginning, I could never get past the third mission because of it
That battle engine Aquila looks dope, I’m def coping me that asap.

Genuinely not seen alot of them games. Thanks for the insight
Quantum Redshift was awesome. The music helped you get your racing zen on. There was strategy in it too. It had the occasional shortcut but you had to be good enough for it to be worth taking. You could focus on speed & defense or get aggressive & really focus on combat. It eventually got too challenging for me, but I enjoyed most of the game before it got too hard for me. Good times.
I wondered why all the copies of Quantum Redshift sold out of my ebay store this weekend😅😂. Thanks MetalJesusRocks!
Oh my you did mention all of my childhood games except kingdom under fire. A little bit of story here, I live in Indonesia, which is majority of them playing PlayStation.
