I actually really like the newer gold rarity, it stands out, struts it's stuff and when you look at it you know: "Oh yeah. This is gold." It looks so clean, sleek and beautiful to me personally.

I really like the solid gold borders on maximum gold and el dorado. Makes the cards look a lot cooler than the hazy gold border on the old stuff. That said, haunted mine with the guaranteed ghost rare will always be tempting.

Not sure what it is about gold series, but its one of the most nostlgic for me, still remember getting the bus by myself to town at age 13 getting my gold series with my pocket money!! These videos unlock such lovely childhood memories, thank you Ruxin for 2 years of amazing daily content

The old gold series just looks so good, especially GLD2. That Future Fusion is gorgeous. Congrats on 2 years of daily uploads. A lot of people that don't do KZread don't understand how hard that actually is to accomplish. Glad to be along for the ride

For anyone to upload daily is so much work but this is elite considering Ruxin opens so much old expensive product basically every day and it’s all so sick!! I love watching you open all of the same product throughout the years and see how it’s either evolved or been not as popular in terms of collecting! My favourite gold is haunted mine because it’s extremely hard to get a ghost rare in any set (at least in my experience) and the print is really nice in this and now I collect only sealed. My favourite look is the premium gold because I love the black background with the gold accents! Keep it up Ruxin your channel is gassed!!! My favourite packaging is the premium gold as well due to the same reason of the colours

Oh my god! The Blue Eyes you pulled has the same weird printing that mine does! When it catches the light you can see the printing of the left foot extends to the description box, reflecting on the border. Such an interesting print error. And to answer the question, I love the gold secret on effect monsters. The darker orange/brown lends itself to the shade of gold used, prime example being the god cards.

Congrats on two years! I really enjoy the content. I remember when Gold 1 came out. It was the only Gold set I purchased as I quit the game not too long after the 75th YCS in Edison (I'm currently using the Trag mat as my mousepad). Anyway, I bought a lot of Gold 1 packs and it took forever to pull Crush. I finally pulled it and like a week later traded it for a haul. Crush was like $300 at the time and I got 2 Allure of Darkness which were about $50 each and another $90 Secret I wanted for the Dark deck I was making along with another $100 or so in cards. I hated giving up Crush, but the haul was too good for me at the time.

I think my fave is return of the bling, partially for the name but also the packaging. I really like that old cigar box style box that they came in. Also I really love the daily uploads Rux. I don't always get around to watching the vids on the day they're released but always make sure to watch once I've got some time.

My favorite out of all of the Gold Series is Haunted Mine because of the ghosts, but MAGO is quite close because of the amazing cards that it holds. But every single one of them is really nice (maaaaybe not sure about Pyramid Edition, but hey... not all that shines can be gold, right?)

My favorite of the Gold Series is definently Haunted Mine. As an avid Zombie duelist, i was excited over this release. I remember buying a couple of these purely cause they had a bunch of Zombie support reprints like Call Of The Mummy, Pyramid Turtle, and Double Coston.

Infinite Gold has to be my favorites from all these. And also keep uploading as much as you can! It’s great always having some of your videos to catch up on.

In terms of aesthetics, I like the first two gold sets the most just because they do carry that nostalgic pre-DREV card format look. And gold 1 just has some of the best cards you can get I think.

What a nostalgic opening! I remember watching simplyunlucky opening these as they came out, brings back good memories! My favorite Gold Series card wise is definitely the 2009 one like you said, but for the packaging, Gold Series 3 is my favorite because I love the 5D’s anime.

Favourite Gold Series, for me, was the original gold series. I remember I was on holiday in Orlando with my family (From the U.K.) when it got released and we drove around for hours trying to find somewhere with it. Eventually found this old card shop in the middle of nowhere. Got 5 mini boxes and pulled nothing. Got back into the car and my Dad gave me an extra $15 for a box, went in, chose one and opened it in the store. Pulled a CCV in the last pack! I was the happiest 14 y/o in the world then. Love the vids Ruxin, keep them up!

My favorite is Gold Series 4 it's the most memorable one for me. I remember buying it and pulling a Toon Table of Contents, Five Headed Dragon, and Spirit Reaper. I loved this set so much it also, came with a free playmat and soooo many good Commons!

Honestly the pack appearances look really unique and sweet to me. The black and gold mesh good with the older packs. The Gold outlining on the cards is really sweet as well. The Ghost rare Blue Eyes was pretty epic and definitely gets the dub.

The first two sets of Gold Series are probably my favorites. The foiling were done beautifully and didn’t look tacky or brownish like some of the newer sets.

I always enjoy watching the gold opening videos. My favorite set is the gold series haunted mine. Love all the ghost rare in it. Maybe I’ll own a blue eyes ghost rare one day. I feel like we are gonna talk about how the quality was in 2021 all the way back to the beginning of the gold series. My opinion I think the 2009 OG was the nicest set with print quality and fabulous holo shine to them. Good luck on the pulls!!! Also forgot to mention my favorite packaging was the pyramid shape gold box. I know it kinda awkward to store and stuff but i just like the creativity on it!
