I purchased the my first angel deck, "Angel Wisdom Tarot." It's Radleigh Valentine's first solo Tarot and it surprised me. I really like it for many of the same reasons you like this one. Sometimes you just want something very straightforward and "easy."

I recently got back into angels and that Angel Wisdom Tarot deck totally rocks. I am using it all the time. My new favorite deck. Lisa, you would like it😀

This is also one that I say, Dawn Michelle made me do it 🤣 I saw a video where she talked about watching some videos of Radleigh and liking his energy. So I got curious and checked out some videos. And he seemed so genuinely sweet and nice. Plus the different themed suits of this deck are awesome. I really appreciate a deck that makes reading easy when I’m feeling low energy.

As someone so new to tarot…This was my very first tarot deck I ordered and I love it!!! and reads so easy!

I have these decks--really, almost all of the DV/Radleigh Valentine decks really--and I LOVE them. My first deck, Motherpeace, was a gift from my best friend in the early 1990s, then a few years ago I noticed these decks and simply fell head over heels for them. I recently added Radleigh's The Angel Wisdom Tarot. It is absolutely amazing. Great review! Thanks

Oh my, I made negative assumptions about this deck. I’m so glad I watched your video - I have put this deck on my to be purchased list. This just looks like such a useable deck!

This is my come back Tarot deck 😊. I bought it in 2015, then later I rejected it. Then again felt nostalgia about it. And now I just bought new The Angel Wisdom Tarot. There is something in these decks so magnetic 🦄🌺🌿

I'm have been playing around with Tarot cards for a while and collected some I love; my intuition has seemed to finally kick in Lol. I choose this deck instinctively scrolling through several decks on Amazon. I instinctively feel that this deck is right up my alley. I realize that I totally resonate with this type of theme of tarot I'm getting them tomorrow and I'm so excited after watching your walkthrough. I'm a Libra so the artsy imagery so very cool.

Thanks Lisa for the great review. I have used this deck for years for readings for others. I've found that people really resonate with it and are receptive to the messages.

This was my first ever deck and the one that started me on this wonderful tarot journey. I also bought the bigger guide book for this deck which has much more detail on each card and was very helpful to me as total beginner. I think in that book for the Archangel Ariel - Strength card one of the messages was that - True strength is wielded in Peace - and I just thought that was so spot on and beautiful. So this deck holds a very special place in my heart 🔆💕💖💕🔆

A fun and enlightening walk thru

I bought this deck years ago when I didn’t even know who Doreen was. I also don’t associate angel energy to the abrahamic view. I experience them in a much more intense and bad a$$ way. When my mother had a stroke, I was running around with doctors to make sure she had this or that in place. She was expected to recover, but for two weeks in a row I got readings that told me she was going to pass on and that I needed to sit with her and enjoy her in the moment. I didn’t buy it but I still followed the advice. Unexpectedly, two weeks later mom left. Because of the messages I received, I was able to have that important time with her. This was years ago and I still remember how clear those messages were. This deck is my truth teller and it’s what I turn to when I need to pull out the big guns! Lisa thank you so much for showing this walkthrough I am so happy that these angel decks are making a comeback the decks themselves were rejected I believe unfairly because of their maker whatever Ms. Virtue's path these beautiful decks were meant to be used by those who need their loving messages. I personally never got rid of my decks hell I purchased them they are mine and I have done many wonderful and powerful readings with them many of my clients ask for these decks. *Side note:* I don't mind that Doreen opted for a new path. Didn't change the vibe of the cards (for me, personally).

I've had the Fairy Tarot for ages, and it has the same qualities as this lovely one. No unicorn suite, unfortunately! Both of these decks have gorgeous images and I think they catch you off guard with their depth.

I got this deck kind of early on and I thought it would be easier as a beginner deck because of the phrases but I honestly think I could work way better with it now that I have more tarot work under my belt.

Sorry still watching 😂❤️ just had to add 🙌CHOSEN FAMILY🙌 actually choked me up ❤️

I stopped the video and ordered a copy. I’m not an angel person, but have been warming up to the idea of them. But, let’s be honest, you had me at dragons and unicorns.

Synchronicity!! I just told my husband today that out of all of my oracle and tarot decks, I don't have any that depict angels and most likely never will because it's so "Christian", etc. etc. etc. I'm still learning tarot and gaining a lot of insight by watching KZread videos, but haven't yet ventured too much further than that thus far. It's ironic that I stumbled upon this 2020 video as I've been debating on a really good tarot deck that's made simpler in learning the basics and so WOW!! THANK YOU LISA for this video!!! I am going to purchase the deck and actually take my time with this one!! Stay blessed!! I too never thought I'd even consider this deck until NOW!!

You just sold another copy of this deck today, lol. I never thought I'd buy an "angel" deck, but this does not feel at all like what I had envisioned. Love those short, direct key phrases. Thanks for walking us through this. "Flash cards" is a perfect description. I definitely think it would be great for a new reader trying to learn the meanings and maybe overwhelmed with the thick, deeper books.

I've had my eyes on this for a little while and your walkthrough totally sealed the deal for me. I think the fact that it said "Angel tarot" and not seeing the angels in it threw me off. Loving the the gorgeous fantasy style art !

Right?! I wouldn't have expected so many non-angelic beings in a deck called the Angel Tarot LOL but it's so lovely and a whole suit each of Unicorns, Mermaids, Fairies and Dragons? Yasss! :D

I brought this deck for myself this Christmas and tbh I thought I’d NEVER EVER buy any angel deck ever!!!!! But I completely adore it! I even have considered buying a second deck to cut it square just to images which would be my first deck mod ever! It’s just such a beautiful deck. I rediscovered my first ever deck... the angel cards and brought it back into my collection (the original book/box had been turned into a Harry potter book of monsters by my daughter) and it’s just opened up angels to me in a totally unexpected way. #stillwatching

The Angel Wisdom Tarot is Radleigh's masterpiece. The cards are nice and large with a satin matte finish, and include a lot of astrological information. You will love it.

I love listening to you and Dawn Michelle mention each other in your videos. Her "decks I crossed off my wish list in 2020" mentions you multiple times. I was thinking as I watched, oh, trim off the purple sides down to the border on the back (not top and bottom) and it might make the artwork pop a little more. I guess from a printing perspective it's easier to put a border so you have some wriggle room in cutting the card sheets, but gorgeous artwork deserves as much visibility as possible, darn it.

I'm pretty fickle when it comes to borders - sometimes I love them and feel they frame/contain the artwork and sometimes they just feel like they hem it in.

Seeing it with different eyes...maybe because DV is not in it any more. It looks great!

I haven't the old deck, and like it. I also have a DV Unicorns, Dolphins and Mermaids,and ( somewhere) Healing with the Fairies, and, like them, too. Theyre a bit fluffy, and I have other unicorn, mermaid and fairy decks tht go a bit deeper,but,they have their uses.

I bought this deck quite a few years ago when I was still new to tarot, it is a Doreen virtue edition. I also bought big guide book for this deck which was sold separately (I’m not sure if it is still in print) personally it’s not my cup of tea or aesthetic, but it does read really well and I feel it’s good for clients who are nervous about tarot or are going through a difficult time it definitely has a much more gentler vibe without being too condescending if that makes sense.

Lisa, if you like this deck check out the Fairy Tarot by Radleigh V. The illustrations are brighter and quite lovely. It is based on the seasons, nature, and the stars of the deck are fairies. Messages are all great. I still have both decks with Doreens name on it. I’m just not going to buy two new decks because Doreen changed her mind. As much as I adore my Angels, I think I love the fairy deck a bit more.

This is a beautiful deck! Are there any changes or modifications since Doreen Virtue has her name removed?

I'm not an Angel fan but this deck is well made and thought out. it is a hidden gem and one of my first decks. mine is gilded and i love it that way.

I agree with you that this is a good deck for beginners and I love the art. I had to rehome mine, which wasn't a decision I made easily, but it is a difficult deck to actually physically see -- there is A LOT of imagery in each card and, although adding to their beauty, the cards are dark. That is a bit of a caveat emptor -- the cards are difficult to see. Instead I find a good deck to use to read for others is Ember and Aura -- also very non-threatening and the images are simple and easy for people to understand (and I can see everything on the cards -- lol).

Oooohhhh nooooo! Just realized that the Dreamer and Ego are the same central figure just differently festooned! Trying to figure out if it makes sense in the progression of the Majors story. 😦

I just bought this deck and I am clueless as to where to start, do you have any suggestions on how to pull cards or any tips x

One of my first decks was a archangel deck. Some of the typeset was off in the cards. I never truly bonded with the deck, and have rehomed it .

I've never tried to mod a deck into round - but I did once hand-trim a deck into ovals and not sure I'd ever put myself through that again! LOL

There is a Fairy Tarot Deck that I got and it's the companion to the Angel Tarot and you can use alongside this deck as well which I think is interesting.

Forgot to mention, my copy of this deck is the one with DV's name on it, with the shiny silver gilding. That gilding does not hold up well and frays the edges, but I still love it.

Is the gilding really terrible? I’m in a dilemma on getting a used copy with gilding and could receive it in a few days, or getting a new copy without gilding from book depository and wait for a month. Both at the same price 🤔

There is a big companion book to this deck, and while it is full of “Doreenism” it does go into the symbolism “hidden” in the artwork, which is a bit blurry (surreal-like) and hard to see. Funny thing is that after paying more attention to the artwork, a few of the cards take on some of the Thoth interpretations for me.

You might like the Art of Love Tarot (mass market), or for indie, check out the 5 Cent Tarot, Brady Tarot, and Stretch Tarot

I had tthis deck but gifted it to my mother. I have such a hard time getting over Doreen Virtue, that I haven´t been able to use the deck - especially that it is her on the 9 of cups ( she said so herdself). But maby I can get oone with just Radleighs name on it - and maby alter the 9 of cups a bit :D I really liked the things you said about the cards and I might give them another chance. Thank You Lisa. Oh by the way does anyone have suggestions on decks that has the same amount of descriptive messages on them as these have?

I've noticed that Radleigh Valentine has some other decks with similar descriptions on them, but they may be ex-doreen virtue decks also, so not sure! :) I really didn't think I'd ever buy this one but it's really enjoyable to work with!

I too have a tough time with Doreen and her changes. I have finally decided that the space she was in when she made the cards was great and nothing like where she is now. She was always a little fear based - she noted it in one of her videos with radleigh.. I do see radleighs name on a lot of things that used to have both their names.

I left church and Christianity and entered into the world of spirituality and oracle cards just after Doreen Virtue left 'new age' and became a re-born fundamental Christian. I was never a fundamental Christian, so never heard of her until my sister told me that she had a couple of oracle cards and one of them was Doreen Virtue's decks. I think it was this deck. So, I researched 'Doreen Virtue' online and discovered how people felt so upset, betrayed and confused about her sudden change. What upsets me about Doreen Virtue is that she keeps on judging others, not just continues to judge 'new age' but also, other Christian teachings such as Contemplative Christian Meditation, and even judges other fundamental Christians and ministry programs. I hope she can get off her 'holier than thou terror' and accept in her heart that Jesus teaches love, kindness and forgiveness.

I would love to order the first angel deck you showed on this video , but can't seem to find it. Do you have a link where I could purpose a deck . Thank you

@@Lisa_Papez I actually just ordered a 25th Anniversary Edition and I can buy it in both Book Depository (UK based I think) and Wook here in Portugal. They both have it in stock, but definitely wasn't able to purchase on Amazon due to a "not available" status. (edit: I checked Amazon Spain and they have it in stock for roughly 20$, woah!)

I actually cannot wait for it to arrive, I connect to the imagery like I haven't connected to another deck before (on such a level, and can't really explain why). I'm pairing it with the Sacred Destiny Oracle! Oh and on topic, I do have the deck mentioned in the video and the images are lovely. But couldn't connect too much with it, and my edition didn't bring in the silver edges. Bummer!

Would love this deck, also her new angel tarot but without the freakin border 🙅🏻‍♀️ i dont like those 😜
