Just a personal safety advice since you may be new to London. Don't venture alone at night especially in South London. At subway stations stand in the middle of of the platform or with your back against a wall. Only move forward once the train has passed you. Plenty of nut cases in London who will push you on the train tracks. Stay safe and healthy.

@@DianaD113 sorry for my late reply. Public transport is expensive. So apply immediately for your student travel card. Also in British classrooms the teachers won't spoon-fed you like in US. Basically they are not so concern whether you show up in class or not. They also do not follow exactly the textbook. More emphasis in on writing papers rather than multichoice exams.

I know exactly why @Asian Kitchen mentioned south London but let's not scare people. You've more chances of getting robbed in Central London than anything else happening anywhere else. in West in Camden there's so many robberies but everyone loves how cool it is, in East you've Dalston which could be considered dangerous but it's actually very cool and people love restaurants and coffee shops. Also in east, Canning Town has a lot of gang crime but if you turn towards Royal Arsenal you've a very touristic Royal Dock you've brand new apartments by the river full of couples and students. Me and my friends live in South and we love South London, it has such a good community, food places, cute coffee spots, good night life, etc. I've went to many night outs in Brixton and Clapham and loved it, I just ensure I am with people because like in any big city you've there's danger. There's crime but a lot of the crime is between gang rivals. Be street savvy just like you'd be in any major city such as NY or LA, don't go into rundown areas at night especially ones with council estates, if possible don't walk alone. I only know of a couple of cases ever of someone being pushed into the tracks don't believe is common but might be wrong, just stay further away. Anyways, just enjoy London without fear but still try to always be safe :) Also, explore beyond central London, there's so many more hidden gems!

I moved to London 5 years ago at 19, and alone. This comment definitely makes it sound 100x scarier than it is. Of course, it's never a bad idea to be extra safe. But TBH, I've found it pretty safe. And I live in South East London.

when you said our time is really precious, that hit me bc you ain't thinking only about us but I can imagine you value every single person behind the screen. Hope you keep doing great, good luck!

Oh fun, congratulations on the move! Make me realise there is so much to explore. I lived in London since my uni days then work (9 year soon!!) and after the worst of covid times - I was really contemplating of moving back to same country where my family is but after looking at this vlog, I think I try a bit more hard to enjoy the joy of present and stop the pre-30 anxiety thoughts of marriage, advance career more quickly, get a hubby etc haha.... turning 29 but yeah everything will be ok and don't have to plan everything. Will check out your other videos!
