It's good to have your transcripts evaluated by one of the foreign/international credit evaluating agencies. Depending on your hard earned foreign degree/masters etc, this may save you time,money, or stress related with your long term goal on your future's goal and where you are at in life. It costs some money to have them evaluated but can save you some credits too. Lack of this information right from your entry into the diaspora can block or delay your achievements or progress in your new country. Many people are discouraged by a few who may not know this too. Times are changing fast in the diaspora as they're being recognised as part of inclusion/diversity and non-biased. It's only fair that diaspora's academic achievements and goals are recognised just as the expatriates are also respected when they live outside of their western countries. There's a lot on this topic that would be so good to hear from other people's experiences. Peace
@danomuch

@jeffitachi2589 Don’t take that miss information. If you have degree you can come do a masters. You can succeed in any field. The school you chose plays a big part in how easily your career kicks off. I did my undergraduate in engineering in Kenya, started masters here and after my first semester even got interview for internships with Ericsson without applying, I had put my resume on the university department career site and happed that lots of good companies recruited from that university, I was F1 btw. Have friends from Kenya who did undergraduate in KE did masters here and all have jobs in their field of choice. It’s a journey, before you graduate you do what you can to get money to pay bills. Some folks even just do an MBA in a good university and internships and graduate with very good jobs, like no doubles no shift 9-5 jobs ka Kenya. All careers paths are valid here not only nursing and IT. There are lots of engineers, doctors, business, banking etc who have made it. I hope this gets to you and I am not late to comment

Thank you. There is hope in God
Have a quiz.When someone has a degree from Kenya will there be need to start from scratch or maybe add let's say 2 years instead of 4 years for you to get the same degree in United States.Will appreciate info.Thanks

You will have to start from scratch. American system doesn't recognize Kenyan education unless you did nursing back in Kenya.

Peace

Thanks
you guys look alike
