Great idea interchangeable lid on the fridge. So convenient when you and your buds (girls also welcome) are having beers at the beach and not having to go in and out of the van 👍. Maybe you should add SimpliSafe to this van. Great video. See you next time.

Wondered what the go was with the short video. Lol. I think a bunch of us who’ve been hanging out waiting for another video jumped on it, saw it and thought. “Ok, that was different”. Can see where it fits in after watching today’s though. 😂 Really great work on the shower and the drawer. The end bit with the toilet. Does that mean it doesn’t fit? Mmmm that could be interesting. 🤭

Hey Max where have you been?? Missing your uploads :( Even a 10 or 15 min upload once a week of you blogging would be fun :)

Just watched Occy having lots of summery vanlife fun with Eamon and all the ladies. Pretty sure I heard him say he can't wait to get back to Aus even though he's having a great time. The van looks fantastic. Hopefully you get your little mate back soon.

Don’t know how long that’s going to be with a the Covid-19 restrictions in Victoria and border closures at the moment. It’s taking a long time to roll them back. Hopefully the State Government down there announces some good news tomorrow when it outlines how that process is going to work!!

Max! First off, especially loved the music this video. Thanks for the sweet words about people keeping their chins up. These are difficult times for most people indeed and thanks for the great laugh with the toilet at the end. 😆 Important that we be able to laugh at ourselves, especially in tough times.

I did some catching up so I know who you mean when you refer to Lee and your dog. My heart is with you. I'm praying about the loo! I hope you find a way to make it fit that doesn't mean tearing up the shower.

Haha, looks like you will get your wider door opening after all! It is a bit narrow with the sliding door in place so hopefully you are able to modify the other side by 10cms or so to make life easier.

Another awesome video Max. Keep up the great work. You are so close. I have started my Iveco build and have the van insulated, framed up with the 2 Maxx Air fans installed. Your roof fan install video was watched a few more times by me lol. Thanks for the tip on the Eternabond tape too. That stuff is a life saver. I'm waiting for you to finish over the sliding door section, so I can learn how to do that too. :D

Max I love your positivity. There's so much happening that you could let it get you down, but you don't (at least not in front of us 😁). I love that you take us through your thought process and problem solving solutions while building and adapting as issues come up. Sorry to hear that part of the family farm is being sold and you had to move. Hopefully you will have some good neighbors that purchase it. Also, I have to say that breakups are so difficult, but you and Lee have set such an incredible example of how just because it doesn't work out together, the love and respect for each other that you had throughout your relationship will hopefully still make for a lifelong strong friendship. Can't wait for you to have your best buddy Occy back.

Super neat fridge install. The reversible lid is a winner ! Interested to see how the power cord will retract back, as to not get bunched up or run over by the slide out. Admire your diligent build process. 👍🍺🇨🇦

I totally agree... it’s SO good to see a build being done in Australia using Australian products and shops, it’s makes such a big difference. I’m the same as you, always raving about Max’s build but to my kids... sadly they just look at me and roll their eyes but, honestly, this lifestyle looks so great to me I just don’t understand why they can’t see that... 🤷🏼‍♀️😆

You should post here and also post all your build videos on your new channel gotta get that growing in the meantime.

That was awesome! Loved the finish of the shower screen and exterior wall plus the fridge. Really handy that you can rotate the lid. Now I know where to go if I ever need one. =) Can't wait to hear more good news on Occys' return and before we know it, you'll be back on the road again! You are doing a fantastic job with this build i am very impressed and have no doubt that the van will serve you well on you adventures not to mention how very comfortable you will be. Sad about the delay of your dog but as a Victorian in lock down for six months now we know too well the frustrations but its all for the good. Stay strong, safe and focused on a great build.. well done !

Pretty awesome van build. I'd just cut a hole, put a grate over it in the side of the cabinet where the fridge has its intake or exhaust already. More fans more power draw!

Hey Max just wanted to say amazing video, not quite sure it was a bottle opener but love watching, I live on a canal boat in UK similar life to van life just on canal network, its great seeing install videos and watching things come together, I seen the ops post yesterday but it vanished, I was waiting for this upload lol. great watch. not a plug but have you looked at compoosttoilets.com there deluxe toilet is way more modern and cheaper than natures head. you could resell old as new and upgrade lol. its what im soon to be installing.
