It’s 15 over (I got ticketed for this before) but fortunately everyone in the valley has the mentality of they can’t catch us all when it comes to speed. Troopers are ruthless though, especially with the Hellcats and Corvettes on the force. They even have an X5M lol

That 6 month out of the year statement explains a lot. Basically moving to AZ during the winter allows you to increase your drive time which gives you more video content and increases your $$$. I guess renting for a year is actually smart compared to the additional money made over the next 6 months. Plus still being able to go back to Utah for winter content. SMART STRAD!

@@AngryH so you suggest buying a second home? He is sharing the cost. If you put the income of each video in the summer compared to his income during the winter in Utah I’m sure that’s why he did it. Let’s say rent is $22,000 a year and he’s making… let’s say $50k a video because he’s able to drive more months then yes, renting is smart. Sure buying a second home is the better idea but this could also just be a test run to see how AZ helps or impacts him financially. As a business, this is in fact smart to do. He’s essentially avoiding his slower revenue months. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m so beyond sad that I’m no longer in Phoenix. I would have loved to see your cars on the roads. But I will say as a former Arizona resident I’d recommend going through a small town called Prescott about two hours north west of Scottsdale. I pretty much grew up there and I think you two would have an amazing time. There’s tons of old cars, old style everything really. There is a downtown district that is so old some of the pubs have bullet holes from cowboys still lmao

I lived there too. I lived right next door where they filmed the Will Ferrell movie Everything Must Go and just blocks from the highschool in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures...loved it there but not so much in the summer.

I think this move is great. I want to see James mix it up some. He has these amazing cars and he never does much with them. He has the 812 Superfast and we’ve barely seen that car do anything. He had the challenge Ferrari and to my recollection, never took it to a road course. I want to see more videos like when he used to take his car to that high speed course. Having the ability to still drive his amazing cars during winter will hopefully spark more ideas for crazy content.

Depending where you venture out in Scottsdale and the north side of town, watch if you cross into Tribal Land. They have a different set of rules they can play by and you don't want on their bad side so you don't get your car impounded.

Just don't drive like a madman on the stretch that's on the rez. Once you get "south" of Scottsdale Rd on the 101 you should watch out with the driving until you get south close to the 10.

Making unexpected moves but with Strad’s brains the results will speak for themselves. More driver friendly weather equals more content. In Utah he’d just be collecting cars during the winter. Good temporary move!

I know he has his sights set and narrowed down on 5 particular hypercars but the Hennessy Venom F5 would actually be sick as heck. It goes 0 to 60mph 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 311+ mph and its less than the regera, chiron and laferrari at 2.7million for the coupe. There is a track model too called the revolution that costs more. He should make a video with the hamilton collection and see if they would let him drive theirs.

I never thought I would be that person like what you're doing - I was born and raised in Chicago and Omaha but every year we travel to Florida, last year was Boca Raton / Deerfield Beach and when I got back home I SWORE we were moving down there! I love the warm weather, palm trees, ocean breeze, drinks!!! My grandparents were farmers in Nebraska and every Winter they became "Snow Birds," and lived in Mesa, AZ! So it's probably in my blood to escape the crappy snow, ice, cold, dormant ugly brown grass & trees of Midwest Winter!!! You lucky bastardd! LOL! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
