Well spotted! I have added Klingon subtitles at 00:00, 14:10, 19:38 and 25:24 to track the goof, but it wouldn't change the outcome as Muad'Dib would still lose the upcoming conflicts.

Thanks! At Kwisatz Haderach level, you're actually not allowed to get Swordmaster. Paul Dennen forbids it!

I prefer Uprising for solo; the rivals are more dynamic in the way they act and compete for influence. The spy, contract and worm mechanics add some extra fun and variety over what base Dune Imperium provides.

No limit but I think you can get 8cards max depends on your cards

No hand limit! You could, for example, play a card with an agent effect to draw 2 cards (eg Cargo Runner/Ecological Testing Station), to Research Station to draw 2 more cards, recalling a Spy you placed there earlier for 1 more draw. Since you start the round with 5 cards in hand and played one, you would then have 9 cards. Then you could go to Spice Refinery with another 2-card-draw agent card, fulfilling the 2-card-draw Contract and recalling another spy. Now you have 13 cards. And you could draw even more with Intrigue cards or with Lady Jessica's memories!

@5:20 is that a misprint? The picture of accept contract and Shipping. Also, on the very first card of Paul do you skip it?

Yes, the card is misprinted as the background images for the Accept Contract / Shipping spaces are swapped. It's been confirmed that the space titles and effects are correct, not the images. Re Paul's first turn: the first card is skipped because Rivals do not visit the desert spaces if there is no bonus spice on them.

Dire Wolf indicated they would release it more widely in future, but who knows when that'll be. In the meantime, you can get the image from their news site - search for and it should be among the first few entries.

hi there, how are the IA compare to base Dune Imperium ? Is there is any change, are they faster to be played ? Smoothest ? Same but taking less pace on the board ? Nor Samy as before ? Cheers

I think the AI functions in much the same way in both games, except for the way Rivals get Swordmasters, their Schemes when placing their 3rd Spy, and their priority order for gaining faction influence. This adds more dynamism and variety to how the Rivals act in Uprising. And there are cards that give them alternative actions depending on the game state. There's a bit more rules overhead, but the play is just as smooth. So I'd recommend Uprising over base Dune Imperium for solo.

@@aorakis5795 There can be wide variance in how things play out, such as lackluster cards in the Imperium Row, or the AI drawing more combat swords than you anticipated, that will make things more challenging. The AI might generate troops to overtake you in a crucial combat, or they might waste troops against each other in a round where you have better things to do anyway. This video was definitely the most successful game I've had against the AI, and I still lose from time to time! That being said, I've played the game so much that I prefer to add in expansion content these days. I'll probably do a playthrough video of that at some point.

Solo, 8 times. Multiplayer, about 30 so far. But I've played the previous Dune Imperium game upwards of 200 times. I'm hooked!

a little confused about how yellow rivals got the sword master using water and cards. would you mind explaining? thanks in advance

Each rival card has a swordmaster value. When the rival accumulates a total number of spice, solari, water and/or intrigue cards equal to their swordmaster value, they will exchange those resources for their swordmaster.

at 26:00 you use stilgar to get troops, i didnt know you could push those troops into combat as well that same turn. why is that? its because you used the ability on a combat spot?

Correct! When you visit combat spaces, all troops generated that turn, whether from the board space, the agent effect on your played card, or an intrigue card, may be placed directly into the Conflict (plus up to 2 troops from your garrison).

@@nofriendsgg noted, thats a good thing to keep in mind. another thing i was wondering about, on another turn you get a worm, and collect the bonus spice, is that correct? i thought you either got the spice or the worm. cant find any official ruling on it.

Never seen troops in garisson as a tie breake😂

Haha, nor have I, but one of my friends once had an actual tied game. Same points, spice, solari, water and garrisoned troops. One troop would have made all the difference!

Was it okay to double the VP reward when the Spice Refinery was occupied? Anyway, well played. We are almost always beaten by the rival in noob level 2 player mode :(

Hi there! I'm not sure which moment you're talking about, but sandworms always double the rewards you receive from combat, including VP. (But they don't double battle icons or board space control.)

​@@nofriendsggI meant around 42:27. My understanding was that taking control of a bkard space cannot be doubled, therefore the VP for taking control also can't be doubled. Thanks!

@@tomoo-tomoo Yeah, so the board space is considered a separate reward to the VP. You double the VP, but not control of the space.

I couldn't really tell, so I checked my project file, and sure enough, the audio had shifted 1 frame early. No idea how it happened, but I'll be extra careful when editing in future. Sorry about that - thanks for pointing it out!
