Which armour and weapon mods are you using?

The only way I’m gonna get anywhere near 10 frames per second is by overclocking my RTX 4090 and ryzen 7950x

Trust me, this looks more lightweight than u think it is (which is not a bad thing). The big killers regarding skyrim are resolution in combination with enb and reshade (starting from 2k, 4k in most cases is just no bueno) and mods that add A LOT of new objects etc to the worldspace/cells. Tree mods that add more trees (Nature of wildlands, ulvenwald, etc), Jks mods usually and most over city overhauls. Obv retextures and skyrim ini settings are also no joke so ye gotta watch there (for example shadow resolution over 2k is a killer)

@@c4chanse I'd definitely give it another shot. It's old af but it got updated with some textures redone in like 2018 i think? I'm running it now, looks pretty good as a base coat and covers a wide amount too.

Enhanced Volumetric Lighting and Shadows is probably what you’re asking about. eVx is the enb I’m using though.

please tell me I dont need to go to Nexus for these mods...

im assuming that dynamic animation replacer doesn't work with the current AE update is there a different combat animation replace that you can recommend for the current version? i know there is a downgrade patcher, not sure if i want to go that route yet bc most of my other mods (including skse64) are are all for the current version of skyrim. any advice would be great.

DAR works with the latest version of Skyrim 👍👍. You have to get the right version of the mod though

@@msravengaming ... you are incorrect AE was released on November 11th, 2021. this brought a compiler update which rearranged the code, which is fine for regular mods. but SKSE mod were now broken. bc script extender mods need hooks in the code to apply themselves correctly. b4 the AE update (11/11/21) skyrim was using microsoft's visual studio 2015 but microsoft purchased bethesda so now the game can go on microsoft's market place however to be on their marketplace it needs to use visual studio 2017 or higher. so when skyrim updated on 11/11/21 the new compiler was microsofts visual studio 2019. the AE version of DAR is from December 30, 2021. that covers skyrim's update to 1.6.353 which was done on January 6, 2022 (this version didnt break anything so DAR works with it. so this is the game version you need to use the latest DAR... if you have the current version of skyrim AE 1.6.640, which was released September 20, 2022. Microsoft changed all the classes which shifted the code around which broke skse64 mods and breaking DAR again so that current Version for DAR DOES NOT work. currently on Nexus there are 4 types of mods in skyrim SE section mods that only work for 1.5.97 (SE pre AE) mods that work for 1.6- 1.6.629 (for AE b4 the class shift, this is DAR) mods that work for 1.6.640 (for AE AFTER the class shift and current working game version, also the unofficial patch is for this version so mods that require the unofficial patch now cant be used with DAR. there are also mods for GOG which only works with 1.6.640. and VR mods which is for version 1.4.15. my point in saying all of this is bc it's confusing AF n ppl start adding mods that are for the wrong game version they could end up with corrupted game file or worse, although unlikely, bricking their GPU. so please be careful about telling ppl to download a mod when all you have to do is pull it up on nexus n see it's last update date is from over a year ago.

@@c4chanse you are incorrect just bc it says AE on the mod page doesnt mean it works with the current version of AE. there are two version for AE mods for 1.6 to 1.6.629 is when the compiler was updated from visual studios 2015 to VS 2019. which took place when AE was 1st released all the way to to 1.6.629 which was released 15 September 2022 (they didnt change the code withis release) and DAR works for this. then there are mods for version 1.6.640 which was released September 20, 2022 which bethesda changed the classes in the code which shifted around the code breaking the hooks there by breaking script extender. SKSE64 creators and Arthmoor were given this this information months in advance so they could update SKSE64 n the unofficial patch as quickly as possible. so they work for 1.6.640 however DAR has NOT been updated for 1.6.640.

what specs do I need to run this? edit: probably not much since I don't see 200+ mods in here.

Nothing too intense! I’ve ran similar mods with a 1660 super. The enb would be the only possible issue and the texture packs if you have small vram on your gpu.

All I care about at this point is graphics when it comes to this game, not like *those* people that mod it to the point it becomes Dark Souls with Devil May Cry combat.

I’d suggest northern roads instead of blended roads

While almost everything I watch on KZread is 40 to 50 year old super serious guys, this was a breath of fresh air for me, and looks like you put a lot of effort into it, and your video editing skills are super great!

You might check out skyrimguild.com. The DAR mod author puts his mods on there and I’m pretty sure that included DAR.
