Thank you so much for listening! While I'm a little shy to post it, I have to admit how much I love good smooth jazz/gospel style. I grew up on this music, and I always love a great groove. I wrote this on a piano in China on a long trip. Being away from my wife for nearly two months during our first year of marriage was not fun, and while Skype calls were frequent, I needed more emotional release, hence this song! I hope you dig it.

Hello Drew, This is Marina one of the moms from ISB when you were studying there. One of my sons George was older than you and my daughter Gloria Yehilevsky was younger than you. I remember you playing there in Belgium on the stage of ISB. So glad that you using this God's given talent till today!!! What a blessing it is for everyone who can hear you play! And definitely for you too! It was always visible from a very young age how much you enjoyed it:) Congratulations on all of your accomplishments👏👏🙌
Brilliant!! So glad I discovered your music Drew. Arrangements are always amazing and soooo tasteful and the very best of musicians. 🎵🎶🎼
🎷hermoso tema y original sonido del saxophone, saludos desde Reynosa México
Inspirarionale! 😊
You are a great musician my friend. What a melody and arrangement!!!!!!
I just stumbled across Drew's Stevie Wonder arrangement and flipped out. I'm a drummer that loves great big band arrangements and I was floored. Why I've never heard of Drew before baffles me. I've listened to loads of bands and have a love of Brazilian and Latin influenced music too and I must say I am now a big fan of Drew's arrangements. I've already shared with my musician pals.

Man thanks so much!!!!!!
Impeccable performance, man. Thank you!
5:57 gave me chills my guy! This chart is too good
Love that old ribbon mic. I used one yrs ago when i was doing something for Walter Becker. I asked him if i could borrow it. He laughed at me.” I got that for Wayne Shorter”. That was a big no. I didnt realize what it was at time. Excellent writing and playing.
Drew, I have only recently discovered your amazing talent. I'm so proud of your work. Please keep writing, playing, and conducting. Way to go.
Wow ! Just fantastic work,😉 the arrangement the sound of the band ( Nice microphones by the way ) The alto soud and improv ( specialy on a RCA 44) is just beatifull.
and in walked Drew, those former One O'clock guys are as good as it gets.....
Oh!!!! Man Mr Sax
This is fantastic! Great melody, great arrangement, great performance.
I so love hearing this music, totally out of my usual sphere of interest, yet so charming, seductive, energizing. Can't tell you how lucky I feel to have encountered your genius. Thank you, and thank you again...and again and again. Your genius gives life its true meaning.
Your saxophone skills and tone is just so awesome to enjoy! Thank you for this amazing chart!!!😎
Churchyyyy!!! Come on doc! Wooo
Oh man...you just became my new favorite Saxophonist and arranger. Wow...keep posting away. I am very inspired after watching these videos.
Great job! Congrats :)
Yeah! Beautiful chart and playing!
Ya man!! Love it!
Never cared for jazz. My tastes have always been late Romantic/20th Century: Wagner, . Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Glass (etc.). Always found the sax ugly. You’ve made me a believer.
Sick!
Killin it Drew!
Get it Drew!
Makes your knees weak! Awesome 😎
Great sound!
nice!
The best in the business!!!
Man, those lines. Gonna note this for transcribing. Just discovered your arrangement on Bob Reynolds 'tune to be amazing but this is exceptional!

Thanks so much!! It's a lot of gospel music! All the big choirs in New York and Chicago, John P Kee, Donnie Mclurkin, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbet, Andre Crouch...all that gospel/black church music. That's what I tried to emulate (as best as a white guy can anyways!) along with some R&B pop at the top 🙃.

@@DrewZaremba I just discovered your big band arrangement of Bob Reynolds tune and I really like your music. I would say that I can hear a little bit of Maceo Parker in your playing, too. At least I think I do. Your tone and articulation are not unalike. And it sounds also funky to me (if that's the correct term), so Maceo Parker could be worth checking out for you, Will ;)
