I miss old Monster Jam
Nice little compilation I put together, just like the old DvDs. All footage from Monster Jam themselves, please don't kill me Feld.
(Reuploaded because I wanted to change a little)
Like and Sub and that'd be cool

Ah yes. A time before BKT had their name on tires, a time with free standing crush cars, a time with Dennis Anderson and Scott Douglas. A time before Monster mutt in the mercury body. Before the Megalodon and Dragonoid. A time when Bulldozer, Destroyer, Black Smith, Predator, Air force one, The marvel trucks + DC trucks, the original Maximum Destruction and Captains curse were still running. These were the days.

It's gone from being a spectacle to being a sport and it's suffered as a result.

I’d say it’s suffered more as a tv show/online viewing experience than as a live event. The live shows are still very good but the aired episodes are handled horribly.

@gd7enjoyer this year is when I learned this. Sure the tracks have gotten kind of stale since they had to abandon crush cars, but tbh the trucks are capable of stuff we couldn't dream about in the mid 2000s. I saw 2 stadium shows this year and the highlight reels are super long.
So many iconic truck combinations any Monster Jam fan will miss Grave Digger- Dennis Anderson Maximum Destruction- Tom Meents Avenger- Jim Koehler El Toro Loco- Lupe Soza/Marc McDonald Madusa- Madusa Gunslinger- Scott Hartsock Bounty Hunter- Jim Creten Batman- John Seasock Black Stallion- Mike Vaters Destroyer- Dan Evans Blue Thunder- Tony Farrell/Linsey Weenk Captain’s Curse- Pablo Huffaker Grave Digger The Legend- Adam Anderson Air Force Afterburner- Damon Bradshaw Safe Auto Minimizer- Marc McDonald Escalade- George Balhan Pastrana 199- Cam McQueen Nitro Circus- Travis Pastrana/Cam McQueen Advance Auto Parts Grinder- Lupe Soza Superman/Captain America- Chad Fortune Northern Nightmare- Cam McQueen Metal Mulisha- Todd Leduc Stone Crusher- Steve Sims Team Hotwheels Firestorm- Neil Elliott Even the obscure ones like Shock Therapy, War Wizard, Team Suzuki, Wrecking Crew, Excaliber, Blacksmith, Backdraft, King Krunch are quality as well

What about monster mutt
I wish these days were just like those days
2007-2010 I could never wait to watch the next event.
One word: nostalgia
I don't miss old. Monster jam I miss the old trucks that were in monster jam
Scott douglas and mark Schroeder was literally my childhood 😢
It’s honestly insane how bland monster jam has gotten over the past few years.
i feel you. old monster jam is better
Old monster jam really was the best, the tracks, the trucks, the noise, the feeling, it’s almost all gone in modern Monster Jam. Now almost anyblittle thing can end a run, all the tracks are the same, there no car or bus hardly ever on track, and while the truck have stayed the same, (for the most part) the feeling you get, when watch, when seeing is gone, NASCAR arguably has suffered a similar fate, with what made the sport special seemingly being thrown aside for people who don’t care. It’s sad. But I can always hope for a change, it was a change that hurt it, it was a change that made it popular. Hopefully we’ll get a good change again, it’s never to late.

Not even the trucks are the same. Barely any independent teams or iconic trucks anymore. And the ones that ARE iconic run multiple of the same truck, which is complete joke There’s 3 or 4 Grave Diggers at each event, and lots of other quite forgettable trucks tbh
@alextriplett9414

@@Duval-In-The-Wall yeah, a lot of independent teams are gone, but trucks like El Toro Loco, Avenger, Mohawk Warrior, and Grave digger are still around and mostly the same too, Max d, Monster Mutt, and Blue Thunder, are still around but are Drastically different from what they used to look like, and after that most of the other trucks are new trucks, and maybe A couple of other trucks I forgot about that are still around today, but I do miss trucks like Brutus, Taz, Hotwheels, Bulldozer, King Krunch, Grinder, And Bounty Hunter, ( Note to self, BH is still around today along with Scarlet Bandit but they are no longer apart of Monster Jam, also their completely different from what they used to look like.)

@@alextriplett9414 Yeah there were a few survivors, although I can’t tell you who currently drives El Toro, it’s always Marc/Soza in my mind Mohawk Warrior is a decent one but fucking hell was the Escalade just a beauty, its more iconic imo Amazing work by Avenger and Team Scream, I always forget that Koehler is still going, even though that 57 Chevy style is no longer there. Idk what is going on with Blue Thunder, I don’t mind it’s new design, but since Weenk left there’s no consistency with that truck
Hopefully FELD will actually listen to us instead of just sweeping it under the rug. But then again i heard the reason they removed crush cars is because it saves time and money when creating and tearing down the course

Monster Jam will never be like it used to the change will start after they get rid of those dumb BKT tires and bring crush cars and actual obstacles then next bring back Scott and Mark
For me, Monster Jam died after 2016. Namely, when World Finals 18 happened. Fan judging started dragging it down, then they cut down on crushables to the point where I’m lucky to see one or two cars on a track, and then there’s the absolute garbage that is two wheel. I pretty much just go to one or two live shows, and watch the World Finals when they post it. If something noteworthy happened in the regular season, social media being what it is will show that to me. That said, at least there’s enough backlog content to keep me occupied. Even if it has audio and video issues, and the occasional missing episode (wow FELD, you clearly care) it’s nice to have access to the glory days.

Couldn’t have said it better. 2 wheel is absolute trash. High jump too. And they really did the bare minimum for the premium collection.
This video was absolutely amazing in every way. I usually loath when people put music and lower the audio but you have struck the perfect balance in the audio levels and I absolutely love it. Keep up this amazing work

Monster Jam really went from how much destruction, trucks can cause to the track. Crush cars, smashing Buses, destroying trailers and blasting thru motorhomes. To now it's how much can you destroy the truck off all the various dirt ramps and a backflip to finish every run.
takes me back to the days of me watching monster jam extreme energy.
Hell yeah Maximum Destruction was rippin it up

Saw MJ last night and it was really, really sad to see how boring and sterile it’s become
I don’t. Probably has to do with my age. The first show I saw was around 2013, but I was very young at that point. By the time I was 7/8 there were no longer things like free standing van stacks, just car stacks, and by now I’ve spent over half my time as a fan watching what many consider to be the modernized sport

still had bus stacks but the dirt ramp was pilled all the way up to the bus, so the bus never gets hit ll like what's the point? lol
