I've only just watched the series Medici, surprisingly enough, since I was in Pienza as the series was being filmed! Out of memories of Florence and Pienza, I decided to watch the series just a month ago, and was amazed. I know the church square and the Piccolomini Palace (home of the Medici in the film) so well, as I would paint in the courtyard, living just next door; I knew the caretakers who would take me through the palace. It has to be one of my favorite series as an art history major of the Italian Renaissance. Granted, not all of the storyline is entirely correct, but nonetheless, a moving, luxurious epic. The music is so powerful and emotional, it intensifies the whole experience. Thank you so much for creating this video/music program! I just wish there was an audio CD of the soundtrack.

Thank you for doing this. I listen to this track on a daily basis on my commute to work, or right now, at 11pm when I need a "moment" to myself to step out of this world and into the great place this music takes you to. I always say the soundtrack of a show or movie can make or break it, or significantly impact it. E.g. John William's Star Wars score. Not sure Star Wars would be as great without John WIlliams. SImilarly, I feel the music just complimented this show so much. The show itself is also amazing and inspiring. Watching Cosimo on top of the half constructed cathedral, looking into the distance and mentioning later in the show on passing about some "Leonardo" kid showing promise...hard to describe.

Love each and every second of the series and the soundtrack. Thank you for compiling this piece of art. What a surreal amalgamation of a fabulous production and mellifluous music. Loved season 1 the most. Cosimo's eyes said more than anyone could say through a dialogue. Wish more producers take a cue and start making series on Renaissance period.
