So although it is a year later I've just got to say that you are one awesome craftsman. Your castle diorama looks amazing! So realistic! Thanks for the advanced course in modeling.
What I like about this video is not only is it a fantastic diorama in its own right (well done you!) but the explanations of how it was done are very clear and easy to understand. In addition to the skills involved, there is a solid sense of aesthetic and logical layout to it all that is very pleasing.
I didn't know about this guy half an hour ago... but then KZread recommended this. So glad it did. I'm starting to think KZread recommendations are not so bad afterall. Great work man. Loved it thoroughly👍
Hi Neil. I’m a recent subscriber (and first time commenter) that was just checking around for ideas for pimping up my recently acquired edition of Gloomhaven. This project has been amazing to watch! Your projects reach a certain point and I just go ‘Wow’.... then you take it up another level and then another... and another, each level adding incredible, well thought out detail giving us a stunning, hyperrealistic model. Everything, from the cart tracks in the mud, the grass tufts at the fence posts, the white water in the river and the ivy plants on the walls is amazing. All presented with great cinematography, editing and post production... and on top of all that.. a sound guy too! Thank you! Jason - Ireland.

What an amazing job. The details, the paint, the scale, it's just stunning. Watching the video I was just thinking. Why is this man not my brother? I was going to ask you for dioramas every day. Keep making these models, you are a total expert. Hugs from Havana, Cuba. 🏰
Holy cow! So much fun. Years ago I made some walls and towers for my miniatures game. I used clay and sculpted the textures I needed and than used liquid latex to form the molds. I cast my pieces with hydrocal which as you know has drawbacks, but I was on a very limited budget. After watching this I want to get back into making this stuff.
Oh my god. I just discovered your channel today, and I binge-watched all of the medieval city videos! I've never seen such a huge model anything before! Great idea, great execution, and great video. Oh, and you've got yourself a new subscriber.

This project is insane, and you are the best scenic channel of KZread, that said, those street lamps ruined it a bit for me, they look from 19th century, but the build has an obvious medieval feel, in that period they used torches, or candles inside glass, which looked totally different.

Incredible. Now push cities to build back aesthetical structures such as these. I am so sick of contemporary architecture and the hacks who call themselves artists ruining the cityscapes with the most boring and talentless buildings ever produced by man. Rant aside. Amazing work, man
WOW WOW WOW your craftsmanship is to be admired, amazing, the only thing that would have set it off for me though is if the buildings had lights in them to give it an even more real lived in look, stunning though, well done, your hard work paid off !!
