Fun film facts: The Phantom Menace was shot on 35mm Film, while Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith were shot on some of the first professional HD Cinema Video Cameras so their colours aren't as vibrant.

If you are not using a Airbrush or Speedpaints then that's not surprising at all. With regular acrylics 15 minutes isn't enough time to get a model halfway done. (And done doesn't mean looking good)

@@sirrathersplendid4825 I don’t play competitive. I don’t know of anyone in my area that plays Legion, I play with my brother. We just stick to casual play. I thought the Gungans were more interesting than the royal naboo tbh but I've always been heavily biased in favor of factions that use a shit ton of robots and mechs like the Trade Federation and Empire. Jar Jar being basically the face of Gungans for all the prequels didn't help tbh. Safe to say I didn't have the highest or even a good opinion of the Gungans until I played this game. Gungans were my favorite faction in SW:GB easily but quite frankly they were also so the most broken haha. One of the best Mech(tied with Empire or slightly better) and one of the best heavy weapons(top 3 I think) AND had a mobile shield generator. Game over man.

My dudes, I am so glad I found your channel. I really love your excitement and evident love of the hobby. A friend and I have recently gotten into 40k after a 15+ year break from warhammer fantasy, and your channel has been a joy to watch. So much inspiration. Your channel is the only one I have wanted to become a pattern of, and I will when I remember and get around to it. You deserve it from entertaining me while I put my 10 month old daughter to sleep. Thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Your love came through in the video, and process of your painting. I love your energy and enthusiasm throughout. Bravo!
My favorite thing that is my bread and butter, huh? Easy, Lightsabers. Every Lightsaber is unique to it's wielder. I love going through Google/Bing Images, finding a Lightsaber design that I like, and learning about it's wielder. I also love drawing them so much! The best thing to come out of The Sequel Trilogy is the Crossgaurd-Lightsaber, and I'm not the only one who utilized that in their drawings. In Legends, during The Clone Wars, there was a Jedi who had a curved Lightsaber that had a single beam of Lightsaber energy tilted at a 45° angle upward near the emitter. Also, I'm playing a DnD campaign in the Legends SWU as a Gungan Engineer, so this video was SUPER fun to watch!
Along with Gungans I ADORE The Ewoks, Jawas, Tuskans, Trandoshans, Dathamoor Witches, Ugnaughts, Gamorians, Rancor, Wampa, WOOKIES, all of these bizzare and beautiful races with so much flavor and badassery! I REEEAAALLY want for there to be a Mercenary expansion that adds all of these guys AND MORE to be available to all the factions as specialty and flavor troops, with some factions able to take certain ones in greater number than others!
They look amazing, and your love of them makes the video all the better! Makes me want to get my dalek army finished
You really give some great Creativity into the Hobby. I hope you inspire a bunch of people and adore your Army.

I could tell how much passion you had for it within minutes of this video. With how serious you took this project I might actually want to paint an army like that. I hope that one day Terryl Whitlatch can see this video and see the appreciation for her work.

I loved every bit of this project! Super inspiring to see something like this executed so well! Just curious, what are you going to proxy them as when you play?
The Royal Naboo Security Forces were always my favourite, I played Battlegrounds as well and this was always my favourite faction. One thing I really love to nerd out about is Battlebots. So much goes into it, from building the robot, to competing, then fixing the robot. It’s amazing what these teams do to be on the show. I also really love Magic: the Gathering. There’s so much interesting lore to sift through, from different planes (worlds), interesting characters, and fascinating creatures and wondering how their biology works. I mean Thrulls are made from fleshaping dead flesh and making into something that lives and breathes again, but isn’t anything close to what it once was. Makes one wonder how its biology works now.
This is just incredible, 10/10

Gotta say the absolutely unflinching love you have for the Gungans is hugely refreshing and your dedication to bringing them to life is impressive. As for relatively overlooked parts of Star Wars I love, I gotta say the Tri Droids are absolutely slept on. Not the Tri Fighters, but the tall three-legged droids only seen during the background of the scenes set on Utapau. It’s just so cool to me, especially since I’m already such a fan of both droids and the war of the worlds. There are taller variants of Tri droids seen on Mygeeto, Crystophsis, and even flying ones that the Techno Union used against the Bad Batch in that arc of the Clone Wars, but the smaller more nimble ones that still tower over the clones are my favourite.
I feel like you and I grew up the same. Loved galactic battlegrounds, grew up on the prequels, checked out every star wars book at the library many times over. This whole video made me feel nostalgic.
These prints look pretty slick! A lot of character to them and they seem like they go together pretty nice. Great video by the way!

Man my galactic battle ground days were the best. The story in them was actualy fantastic!
I'm not a wargamer, I just like watching other people kitbash. I find your enthusiasm infectious.
Well done! They look fantastic as an army on the table!
Glad to see another Galactic Battlegrounds enjoyer. You'll be happy to know that the game still has a dedicated community and the Expanding Fronts mod team is keeping it alive, accessible and updated. You'll also be happy to know that the Gungans are, in fact, the meta faction as it were.
Easy sub. Really enjoyed watching that, couldn’t agree/relate more to almost every thing you said.
I loved the TPM too, this is an amazing custom army! I had the DK book with all the illustrated cutaways of the Trade Federation's equipment, I loved the clear unified aesthetic of Baktoid's battle droid and vehicle designs and I thought all the new droids that were added in Ep. 2 and 3 didn't live up to the originals. I am focusing on historicals right now, but a TPM era Trade Federation Legion army is definitely on my bucket list.
For some reason I fell in love with the Turtle from the Book "Momo". She can look a tiny bit into the future which leads to the awesome interaction of "Kasiopeia, where are you going to?" "I'm looking for you". Because the turtle knows she'll be searching for Momo in the future so she leaves Momo to search for her. I don't know why but I allways loved that book and that turtle is a key part of why.
Man this video brought me so much joy, what a blast to see you hyped up about the Gungans! I’ve been saying the GAR needs Gungan reinforcements since I started Legion. Maybe one day we’ll see a Gungan battleforce?

Every time you said “Gun-gun” or “Goon-ga” I paused the video and contemplated turning it off. But that damn paint-job kept me coming back. Great looking army.
This army is a thing of beauty. I loved gungans ever since I first saw TPM when I was twelve, and seeing an army of them now that I'm years older and into tabletop gaming makes me feel a little bit like I did all those years ago.
these are so freaking cool! You did an amazing job on these, I want to hear about how you actually get to play with these.
This was great! Never thought I would be impressed by gungans!
I've seen this channel on my feed a few times, but this is the video that really brought me in out of curiosity. You absolute mad lad, this is a wild army idea and I adore any conversion project that obviously shows passion and care! I gotta know, though, you built them for Legion, but what kinda rules do you use them for when playing Legion? Or are they just a fun display piece? I do love some fun counts as, but I can't place what this all might add up to. As for your final question, that is a hard choice, but I gotta say: Dwarves! From Gimli from the Lord of the Rings movie, early Warcraft games, and even readings of Norse Mythology, the tropes and stylings of the Dwarves have always been fascinating and I adore pretty much everything they've been in. From a focus on craftsmanship and building I can relate to, to a strong sense of defense and honor and even I am even pushing in my own hobby of collecting Dwarves from all sorts of games to have a wide variety collection of the wonderful little buggers.
Great video. One of the things I've always wanted to see were the Rak'Gol in 40k. They were featured in the Rogue Trader rpg from years ago, and they always stood out to me as such a cool design.
i love that as an old gamer i get to see a different generation's love of star wars. Also, Im glad its not the same way i love star wars. This speed painting is just like spinning, its a good trick.
Your enthusiasm is so infectious! I loved Star Wars battlegrounds!
This is a glorious project. On the Gungan-horse things, they always reminded me of the Kroot and their offshoots. Something of the Gungans definitely feed into the design of the Kroot, with everything looking/having the same evolutionary origin.
