Why didn’t that tour group have snow mobiles given the climate? That was outrageous that that tour group left you high and dry like that. I am glad Ace that you and J-Lo are okay. That could have been much worse.

I saw the whole video. That was crazy. You can't take people at they word. I would of stayed in that house until they got me a ride or left early Morning if I had to walk it down but that was insane. Glad everyone made it back ok

Ace seeing everyone walking in the snow, and when it got dark I was hollering no someone come get them and next thing we seen a light. God is good. The Hot Springs was so beautiful I imagine myself there. It was a good gesture to refund yall money.

Yooo, i would it love to show your around the city but unfortunately I'm not from there neither I'm close by to meet up with ya. I'm from a small town called Talagante. Anyways, I just wanted mention that I'm happy you made it back safe from the adventure in the Andes that almost turned into a tragedy. While you are visiting Viña del Mar, you should check it out Valparaiso (city next to Viña), It has a nice bohemian vibes and energy that hopefully you will enjoy. If you still got time in Chile, the south of Chile is a must place to visit as well. there is a huge difference in term of cultures, gastronomy, architecture, and people between north , center and the south of Chile. Wish you best bro!

My friend we in chile , we've been in a catastrophic megadrought for 15 years ..there were years of winters of little or no snow .but this year it rained or snowed like crazy !! the newer generations were awed by so many days of rain and we needed that rain ..now in the megadrought ,, animals had died thirsty , old dying trees falling over power lines, , we had water restictons and a mayor recession in agriculture !! Thanks goodness for the big rain but also be safe my bro

Man I'm glad you guys made it out despite what happened. I think after seeing that the truck was broken and time went by and no one came back, you guys should've taken the walk back to the hot springs instead of the way down because one night falls it wouldve gotten way too cold and dark. Would've been safer and probably warmer at the springs.

It was a good video and scary experience. I wanted to go until I saw the wheel falling off the tour cart. Then looking at the other people walking off the hill! That was crazy... Happy you were ok. But this could have went wrong in so many ways.

I watched the video from start to finish and I knew you guys were in trouble as soon as that little raggedy truck hit the snow. I prayed for y'all because the roads were rough, snowy had no places to shelter if the truck broke down. You guys had to food, water, or accommodations to camp if things went wrong. I seen a ton of red flags. Truly I think the hot spring should close for the winter unless proper safety is fully addressed. When the tire came off the truck and you guys had to walk unassisted was crazy....how do you know where you are going without out a guide to a place you had never been before. I worried about it getting dark and you guys not having light to see. When you guys finally made it I was light it is really late in the day and the place has not one there. No food, water or overnight accommodations so I knew you were going to try to make the walk back out of there. I was hoping you guys would choose to sit it out until tour people came for you. I know they told you guys to walk out of there but I wouldn't have moved. When you made it back to the broken truck and he told you to keep walking I was like NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO do not do it because it was getting dark. The tour company should be a shame of themselves. The government needs to demand that more safety precautions be put in place because someone is going to die in the future if things are changed for the safety of the tour groups.

Definitely a Different Experience😮😮 You needed to bath in Hot Springs to recover from 2 hours snow trekking. I viewed the excursion with gradual mishaps LIVE. The point where the chatgroup chimed SNOW CHAINS as the first vehicle which looked like a nice SUV was swerving, that was the moment I would have demanded to turnaround and be refunded. Hi! You were really lucky to be able to return to the city, this winter is particularly harsh. 🗿 The best time to visit the mountains in that part of Chile is in August, the worst of the winter is over and there is still snow to enjoy.

The news clip should have mentioned that you weren't on a trip to the hot springs on your own, you were on a tour. The tour company should have been more responsible and canceled the tour due to dangerous conditions. Or, at least had the proper provisions for the amount of people on the tour. That video was very scary Ace. I was in shock while watching it. It was dark, cold, mountainous, snowing and there was no guidance at all! I am so glad you, "JLo," and the others are okay.🙏

that video referenced in this post was great! Sucks that it took an unfortunate situation to create such a great content but I think it was more the story telling and the way it was put together that made it really really good, I was waiting on part 2!

I live next to Viña, and I recommend you go to the sand dunes in Concón, it's like a 20 minute drive from Viña. If you go and stay for the sunset it's an awesome view (if the skies are clear, but tomorrow's probably gonna be cloudy). If you want to see colorful houses you should go to the tourist hills of Valparaíso, it's also like a 20-30 minute drive from Viña and they're made for tourists.

I’m definitely glad that you’re OK Ace, and that you made it out of that situation because it was really ugly. But I will say this I believe that it wasn’t the smartest idea for you to continue on with your journey to the Hot Spring. Once the tire broke off, there needed to be some communication and planning with the tour company to figure out what’s going to be the next steps from that point. I understand when it comes down to traveling it’s all about getting out your comfort zone so that you can have the best experience possible, but there are points in time where prioritizing your safety is more important than having fun.
