I was thinking hmmm Katie hasn’t stamped anything in awhile… and boom! Out comes the stamp :) such a happy soap

To my shame I must admit: Ususally I LOVE the whole slab much more than the individual soaps (I actually wondered, if it would be possible, to add the frosting after cutting). But in this case, i was like: I cannot imagine this looking nice. It's not nice. And in the end I was like: Whoa! It's so nice!

Great color combo. Purple and Gold always looks great together. Lavender is one of my favorite scents. Way to go Katie!

@@pixietwitch i certainly hope people really appreciate all of the effort to make, label package etc. a labor of love for sure. I did two this summer was very pleased to deliver! I always hope someone finds an appreciation for artisan soap. Notices their skin is not squeaky clean (dried out) many associate with clean.

Would love this as a glass soap and available year round (if possible, either type of soap). It's pretty and has to smell wonderful! Lavender honey is a favorite ice cream flavor of mine, perfect for summer.

I'm not a huge coffee person, but whenever I can find a Honey Lavender Latte i get one, it's my fave! Even a plain lavender latte is soo good. And i swap regular milk for oat milk for an even better taste! This soap looks amazing, ngl.

You should try lavender cookies!! They are traditional in some parts of France, and I adore them!

May I make a request love your soaps. Would you consider a teacher appreciation soap. Apple pie soap with red apple embeds? Green and Red swirl with green frosting? Possibly a music note one too. Like black and white swirls with back and white frosting and holographic glitter? Maybe a vanilla? Just a few ideas ❤❤❤❤❤love your channel

Hi Katie! I love watching you and I have a question! I just started making my own soap using your Royal Academy tools! My first 2 bars are waiting to be cut!! I am looking at your classic Royalty Soap recipe, and I don't think I understand the Superfat % I have read everything from the articles you recommended. Am I adding 5% more olive oil or Kaolin clay? or is this just the % already in your recipe? I hope I don't sound like a dummy, lol!!

I love it. Question. What do you use to mix your mica powder? I have seen oil, water and alcohol. Wha5 do you do?

I use water for TD and oil for micas. Hot liquids incorporate better and I find 150° F to be the sweet spot. ❤️

The drag marks are always pretty shallow. My lovely sister Shelly combs through our soaps, picks out the ones that need "doctoring," and scrapes across the face of the soap with a knife. It takes only enough material off so that the marks are gone and they all look presentable!

out of curiosity, when you have botanical embeds, why dont you position the top of the soap so its facing you on the cutter? Wouldnt that completely eliminate all drag marks as the wire would then be moving away from the botanicals, rather than pressing them towards the soap like they currently are when you cut on the side?

Because the pressure of the cutter would smash the botanicals and textured top into the lip on the back of the cutter. There wouldn’t be any drag marks, but the top would be completely destroyed. 😂
