In Puerto Rico we have “Coquito” (which translated means “little coconut”), it’s an alcoholic drink-optionally-made with cream of coconut, evaporaded milk, cinnamon, Puerto Rican rum and sweet condensed milk. It’s AMAZING!!! And it always reminds me of home.🤍🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM PUERTO RICO!!!🎄

I wrote the same, ingredients excluded. Yo lo hago original! Mami used one of the sweet ingredients, cream of coconut OR condensed milk. We do cream of coconut and coconut milk. The rum was and still is always "Palo Viejo", blah. I used to use Don Q, never Cañita. The latter would put you on your backside quick. Felices navidades, año nuevo, Reyes, y octavitas!!

Katie, Have you ever considered using tweezers for embed placement? Especially for the flat top soap where you use the grids. I can see where they might seem fiddly but they have larger food tweezers that chefs use for detailed placements.

She has very shakey hands due to a medical issue. Im not sure if tweezers may help.

@@80sGamerLady I should have called them forceps... they just look like tweezers. They have large ones that are 8 and 12 inches long so they they are a lot easier to manage with dexterity issues.

@@80sGamerLady i have incredibly shakey hands and using tweezer/tongs is very helpful for me. It's more precise that my finger tips could ever be.

We don´t have eggnog, but something called "Gløgg". It´s kind of a warm red wine with nuts and stuff in it. Tastes horrible LOL Seriously LOVE Soapmas, don´t want it to end :D

I really like the simple designs! The complex ones are great, but I genuinely appreciate a nice 2 to 3 color, simple little guy.

Question of the day: I make eggnog at home weakly. I LOVE IT! My late grandmeré made it for me and I use her recipe.

The eggnog design is fantastic, I really love how simple and elegant and festive it is.

2:30 am in Sri Lanka and it just goes to show how katies videos are the best for anyone at anytime!!!

Watching you make eggnog soap as I make eggnog creme brûlée for Christmas is the vibe I needed

Eggnog is one of the few things I actually like about Christmas. This year I've been buying it from Trader Joe's and mixing it in with their free trade chocolate milk and it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yummy! Then again, both the eggnog and chocolate milk are amazing on their own so it shouldn't be a surprise that mixing them together makes it even better!

@@reeda5390 when I make it it usually winds up being about 3 parts chocolate milk to one part eggnog. Anything else and it winds up being a bit too heavy and the chocolate doesn’t come through enough.

My husband loves eggnog and insists that I make it every year. I like the homemade stuff pretty well but I can’t stand store bough eggnog 🤢. There is a little local ice cream place here that has an eggnog soft serve during the Christmas season that is actually pretty good.

I totally agree about store bought eggnog versus homemade. My mother would disown me if I didn't make my own eggnog!

I do love to drink eggnog but also like the scent. Again, our friend Holly at moriversoap has some donut wax melts that are chef's kiss amazing. She also added some bath bombs on that scent that I have yet to try. Yes!!!! I need that eggnog soap on my hands yesterday!!!

I figured out how amazing eggnog french toast is years ago when I had several quarts left over from the holiday party at the CBRF I worked at. I made it on Christmas morning and the residents LOVED it! It has everything you need already in it, maybe just add a couple extra eggs and a tiny bit of milk to thin it out, and it's perfect. So yummy!

I love the smell and taste of eggnog. Never thought of making french toast out of it.

Eggnog mixed with captain Moe's spiced rum is one of my favorite Christmas drinks. Or a peppermint mocha/hot chocolate

I've asked this on a different video too, but I feel like the question applies even more here: Why can you put eggnog/cocoa/coffee beans in soap without it spoiling, but dried herbs/veg/fruit will rot?

Oooh these are all so beautiful! The Eggnog Soap would even be an amazing Figgy Pudding design for a soap too! 😊I love Eggnog so much and after seeing bdylanhollis make it from scratch, I want to try that myself. I love heavy, creamy drinks with a rich texture and eggnog fits that bill perfectly.

I made an Eggnog frosted soap this year with the same Eggnog fragrance! It shook me how accurate it was! I added a little "Pumpkin Eggnog" (also from Nature's Garden) to it to add a little spiced kick to it and it was SO GOOD! I always wondered how drinks and such that might spoil would work in soap. Never got around to trying it or researching it.

Such a cool idea! You’re getting very adventurous. Next thing we know there’ll be real gingerbread in the gingerbread village soaps.

I bought the soap with the apple embeds earlier this year, and I have three very tiny pieces left and I'm so sad. Seeing the apples again is making me miss that soap so much!!!!

I’m vegan, and almond milk egg nog is my absolute favorite holiday drink! Of course it’s a bit expensive and hard to find but I think it’s actually better than the real thing, it tastes the same but it’s smoother to drink. I love how simple the egg nog design is, it’s charming!

Oh my gosh, these soaps are amaziiiinnnggg~! I had eggnogg this morning for the first time in years, since I was a kid, and WOW it's as good as I remember! But what I miss the most is my grandma's homemade hot chocolate. To be honest, your resources for soap is making me want to get into making soap myself. I admire stuff like soap making and resin crafting, so I've been really wanting to try out all these different activities. I love being able to keep my hands busy.
